There is a wide array of options to choose from when it comes to deciphering on what to wear to your rehearsal dinner. Most soon-to-be brides opt for a white outfit. Furthermore, depending on the venue, one may decide to dress more casual or dressy. It is important to select a style that makes you feel comfortable and confident. During a rehearsal dinner, the bride is constantly on their feet greeting people, taking pictures, and making sure everything is going smoothly. Below are some great examples to shed light on what to wear to the rehearsal dinner.

Silk Dress

A silk dress, long or short, is an elegant and lightweight choice. If you are not sold on dressing in all white for both days, a cream silk dress is an excellent idea. Silk dresses can look fabulous on any body type, you just have to shop around to discover what style best flatters you. A scoop neck creates a wider neckline, elongating your neck and accentuating your collar bones. Both a simple necklace or a larger statement piece could work perfectly with this style of clothing.

Fit-and-Flare Dress

Want a more fit-and-flare style? Try a shorter length dress with ruffles and accessorize with a stylish pair of heels. The fit-and-flare style is a timeless clothing item that never goes out of style. To show off a low V-neck, throw your hair in an updo, and pair with a pair of dramatic earrings. This dress looks fabulous on all shapes and sizes, and most importantly is very photogenic.

Romper

Be unique, this is your special event! Try something no one would have expected you to have worn. A romper is a unique, but yet comfortable option. Incorporating cut outs on the side will create a sassy and updated look. Strapless or not, this is a lively and classy choice. If having a wedding in the summer, a romper is a great way to wear something stylish yet breathable. Avoid excess fabric if you want a more slimming look in photos. Rompers can be dressed up or down depending on the venue and style of your rehearsal dinner. Don’t be afraid to style with a fun clutch or a wrap when the weather is chilly.

Cinched Waist Dress

A cinched waist is a very popular style that most everyone can feel comfortable in. Making your waist look smaller, the style is very figure-flattering. If wanting to create a slimmer illusion, avoid gathered or overlapping material. This dress is especially great for shorter women as a raised, cinched waistline can make one appear taller than one is. Additionally, if having a wider lower body this style is highly recommended as it will draw attention to your slim upper body.  A deep scoop neckline is very exquisite when paired with a high-waisted cinched dress.
