The Michael family entered the wedding business in 2004 and decided to restore the John Oliver Michael House and the surrounding grounds into a picture perfect wedding venue. As described on their website, this venue became a “family-owned and operated labor of love,” to align with the Michael family’s more relaxed style. The Venue

The John Oliver Michael House offers three areas on their property to personalize your wedding and make it feel like a peaceful retreat from reality. The Main House, a quaint and antique farmhouse built within the rolling pastures and surrounding 40 acres of farmland, is the space where the bridal party and family can prepare for the day ahead while admiring the timeless charm of the house.

Next, Oliver’s Nest is an indoor space with elegant details and rustic charm to host your ceremony or reception. Perfectly named because it “sits nestled in the shade of beautiful oaks,” Oliver’s Nest is a magical space to create a cozy environment for your dream wedding. 

Lastly, the designated outdoor space, located adjacent to the John Oliver Michael House, is a perfect way to celebrate your love under the stars.
