📹 Bride Has Unlimited Budget For Her Royal Kentucky Wedding Dress | Say Yes To The Dress
Tracy and Ben are going to have a HUGE wedding, almost like a Royal event. So of course, her dress has to be amazing!
If Sharrah and her mom create that wedding planning book, I am going to be the first one to buy it. As a little girl, would always fantasize on my wedding day. I still do. I have my pinterest board full of stuff like pictures, important list people have made (which are very helpful). I can’t wait until my boyfriend decides to purpose. My wedding has to be as perfect as yours Sharrah. Thank you for this article. You always have great content!!

Oh Sharrah, I just watched your Wedding Wednesday series and oh my goodness that was so very good !!!! And what about small weddings? I’m having 15 to 20 people max and it seems to me like we don’t need a wedding planner, BUT having a small wedding raises another questions, like – some venues don’t wanna do so small wedding, or wanna charge more, because their capacity is way bigger, and the wedding planner will cost us half the wedding – is it worth it? And about non traditional weddings – we don’t really want DJ or a band, but how to have music instead? And how to make it easy for all ages – since we wanna have a small thing, kinda like a polaroid guest book or something, but our grandparents have never seen polaroids – do we get someone to show them or leave them out of it? There’s so much in a small wedding too…
I’m getting married in a month and 4 days and wedding photographer was on the top of my list I wanted to be able to show my kids and then and just to be able to watch it over and over again a photo is nice but a article is always that much better I have articles of me as a kid and I always look back at it and over photos and think articles make everything so much more special in years to come
Im getting married august 2019, i am ecstatic about the whole event. My fiance is an audio engineer and we had the choice of doing a live band or DJ. Even though we really REALLY wanted a band we went with a DJ. My family is hispanic and his is american/middle eastern. For my family we really need salsa/bachata,regge music and the majority of the bands we know in SC only do english. But hey its not super bad since we’ll have a set up done fit for any music festival haha
Im planning on using potted plants as wedding favors, that way people can take a couple with them and you dont end up killing flowers, but i absolutely hate weddings cuz of so many flowers being killed for just one day (i know, stupid, cause we shower these days) so use succulents or plants to save the planet and replant them or re-use them whenever you can!
All the Venues I’m looking at for my wedding have a wedding coordinator so I’m not really worrying about that and with planning me and my sister she’s my maid of honor are planning everything together so it keeps a lot of the stress off of me and plus I’m really excited about it so all I wanna do is focus on the wedding but I don’t wanna get to stressed so every other month we focus on certain parts of the wedding and now it’s almost planned and the wedding day is a few months away
We’re not using a florist or a catering service,my moms making a buffet style food so we can set it up and the leave it so she can still enjoy the day. A big part of our budget is our photographer and articlegrapher and our venue, we are using a coordinator (and her staff) so our families and us don’t have to worry about set up and take down so we can enjoy the day. I just can’t justify spending so much money on thing we can easily do.
Great tips! Im having a beach wedding and trying to plan it on my own. I plan to purchase a wedding package that includes most things such as decor, officiant, and 1 hr photography..just wish I could find a cheap articlegraphy in the destin fl area 🙁 Any ideas for beach weddings on a budget ….I plan to just have food and drinks on the beach as a reception and music thru bluetooth speaker
Something guests will appreciate if having to stay at a hotel is you call hotels and get them to block rooms at a discounted price. My wedding is remote in the mountains and we’re all flying in from across the country. We’ll have to stay at Lodge. The discount on our rooms is about $100 off a night. Helped my guests decide to attend. It’s a small wedding, we’re going to be 16 people in total. Definitely worth asking, even if they can only shave off $20, it helps.
I think it is nice that the bride an d groom put their stamp on THEIR special day. No matter what rules exist it is the b and g day. I mean black balloons outdoors in a garden setting usually dont look great and honestly are a bit harsh but it is what Sharrah wants Not sure what makes this lady a specialists in wedding other than she is sharing her wedding experience and she has some decor background – though I don’t know if she is formally trained or through her mother. Regardless I am glad she had a happy day. I do wonder about costs though.
Recorded music can glitch….and Live musicians can mess up too…lol Both options come with their own risks. I don’t think live music is guaranteed perfection, even though it’s nice if one can afford it. But really there is nothing wrong with prerecorded music, at least you wont have to worry about Uncle Larry forgetting how to play Canon in D, or busted cello string.
I know everyone likes to complain about them showing one of their most expensive dresses because the budget is unlimited, but who else are they supposed to show it to if not someone who is willing to pay that much? Someone who doesn’t have a price in mind but doesn’t want to pay that much has a budget to some degree and will mention that. But if they literally say their budget is unlimited and you know they are rolling in money, they don’t care how expensive it is, and that’s when those dresses get their time to shine
Oh my god, this was so sweet. I was so ready to be annoyed with a rich spoiled bride, but her entire family was just THERE for her, fully in support, fully excited, and they all — including the bride — gave good points to the dresses without tearing anyone down. It can be really frustrating, as someone who survives off instant ramen, to hear someone say “how can you put a price on (the right dress)?” knowing I will never live in such luxury, but the love and support of this family is just so refreshing ❤️
Okay I misjudged this family completely, I’m guilty! They’re so loving and even the brother crying was sweet. It wasn’t the typical drama of the mother judging the daughter or the friends/bridesmaids being toxic. The mom was kind of starting to be a little judgy with the second dress but in the end you can tell she is supportive and end up liking the dress.
i feel awful for judging her based off looks alone, the way she explained why she didn’t love the first dress was so sweet to me. the way she explained that she felt the first dress took away from the true meaning of a wedding. and i honestly love her and hope she is happy with her husband 💖✨WHAT A QUEEN💖✨
They’re so down to earth, it’s adorable. The father isn’t afraid to let his little girl express herself but he still displays that protectiveness when he voices concern over her being cold for her November wedding. The mom is opinionated but at the end of the day showers her daughter with compliments and prioritizes what she wants over her own opinions. And the daughter values the feeling of love and romance being present in her dress over the flair of it all. Really so so sweet, every single one of them. Nice rich people exist 💖
This shows that not all Rich people are arrogant, and rude….. Like, you would think she would chose the first dress, because of the glam, and the price… But she is showing that she cares more about the romance, rather than if she is over the top…. I really like this family…. They are wonderful people….
I’ll admit that I was being prematurely judgmental in the first few minutes but then I did a 180 shortly after. This is a wonderful family and she is a lovely bride. She looked stunning and her father’s reaction was just so precious. The addition of the over skirt was perfect giving her seemingly two dresses, one for the ceremony and one for the evening. Great choice! ❤️
She knows her husband well, she knows he’ll feel uncomfortable but most likely won’t say anything if she came out with the first dress at the wedding filled with family, friends and Co workers. The fact she wanted the attention of the people on the wedding and not on her dress was so sweet. 😩😩Man I want that cowboy money too, but I know I have to work hard on my part to get it. I don’t need a big ring but I will want that nice customed dress.
I’ve actually seen this one before still it’s so fun and fabulous it’s worth seeing a second time I bet their wedding was incredible! What a beautiful loving family and such a princess beautiful bride the dresses were phenomenal over the top indeed yet absolutely phenomenal they would make a great Beverly Hillbillies family if they ever decide to redo the remake of the wonderful sitcom!
Thank you for this episode. THIS is humble wealth. I am so lucky and grateful to have been adopted from Vietnam into a very wealthy family who gave me such a privileged life. My parents worked so hard to give us that. Not all rich people are awful people and we aren’t all just vapid materialistic narcissists. Their family is such a great example of humilty while being proud of your families accomplishments. Combined they all are easily wearing close to a million dollars worth of clothing with jewelry included. Her ring alone had to be at least 150k at minimum. For her to say she didn’t like the more expensive dress because it was too over the top and would take away from the meaning of the wedding speaks volumes. We see so many brides on this show pick genuinely hideous dresses solely because they are the most expensive. Such an admirable and loving family. Also their estate is absolutely stunning and picturesque. I’m sure the wedding day was beautiful
This family seems to truly care and love their daughter So much. The father and son crying over their beautiful daughter/sister ? So wonderful theyre able to show their true emotions, helping her pick her dream dress !! They all seem to love eachother and want to build eachother up. Absolutely LOVE to see it.
She brought the right people with her. No need for drama, just support and honesty. I hope her wedding went beautifully and wish her and the groom lifetime happiness. (Lol. Watched this a year after the show aired on YT) Like other commenters .. I thought it was going to be hoity-toity snobbery. It wasn’t.
I love how they don’t outright come at her looks and trash her, there are actually kind and supportive and have valid criticisms instead of calling her ugly and projecting their insecurities on to her to make her feel bad. Nobody’s telling her she’s too ugly or fat to be a bride, nobody’s trashing her Kentucky royalty thing wedding, nobody’s trying to make her feel bad for what she wants and what she loves. I think this is a beautiful example of what it SHOULD be like for every bride.
Anyone else feel like they just threw that first dress at her because it’s expensive and they want to sell it? She seemed so overwhelmed and not that excited from the moment they showed it to her on the mannequin in the showroom. I felt bad for her like they were just pushing that one on her. She said she wanted sleeves and they were like oh yeah we can add sleeves!
Everyone’s so mean in these comments, tf. You may not like her style or her choices with her body, but it’s not your body and it’s not your dress? Be happy for her? A lot of these dresses that show up on this show are not my style, but that doesn’t mean that they’re ugly or that the person looks ugly in them, just that I personally wouldn’t wear them, and I’m happy that the brides to be find their dresses, especially if they have a supportive family like this one and that they’re happy
I once saw a comment in here, stating that they felt she was like that rich bride like rich girls attitude but felt guilty when she said,”The glamour is overtaking the love and what’s behind the wedding itself”. I came here to just see that comment. But it’s no where to be seen. So ya, that was beautiful
The first 10 seconds I was like “Oh no, She is going to be difficult” then as the article went along I ended up loving the bride and her family so much! So sweet and close knit, wholesome and down to earth. Complete opposite of what I was thinking. Moral of the story: Don’t judge a book by it’s binding. What is truly of value is what’s within its pages.
The dress was not my style, but this family. They are definitely my style!!!! Dress outshining the love, the tears, how beautiful her group thought she was, even Mom. She didn’t like it that much, but she saw everybody else did, so she did not dissent, act witchy, and cause a scene. She saw her daughter loved it, and since that’s the point, she “came around”. This family!!! 😍♥️😍♥️😍♥️
I started perusal with an immediate judgement, I thought “plastic” bride, rich family, this will be a disaster. then I felt bad and I stand corrected. These people were so warm and caring for each other, and the bride was aware that the love was more important than the flashiness of the dress. Amazing.
This is an interesting article where a family with money is in search of a wedding dress for the daughter. It is a fascinating social commentary on wealth, money, ( there is a difference) taste, class, elegance and how people view all of that very, very differently. One common factor no matter who it is : Money does not buy class. You either have it or you don’t. It is just that simple. And elegance never goes out of style! ✨👏✨
“Are talkin bout Tracy? Tracy…with the ass? Tracy with…the Honda? Shit…..” lol in all seriousness though this family is too cute. They’re rich and could afford to have the wedding in a real freaking royal castle, but they chose the small castle on the family farm. So precious❤️ so much love a respect. Wishing this lovely couple the best💕
