Kat and Nick have sex after Kat gets drunk at a bachelorette party. When Kat meets Nick, she tells him she hired him to be her date, not her lover. “I don’t like sex for money,” she says. What is the synopsis of the Christmas wedding?

Book overview: They haven’t celebrated Christmas together since their father died. But when Gaby announces she’s getting married, she may finally be able to bring them home for the holidays. I was a little disappointed. Maybe I was disappointed because I was waiting for it. This didn’t seem like a romance. It was more about a family. Their struggles and weaknesses, their life. I was a little disappointed with this book. This wasn’t a bad story. It was good and heartwarming. But it wasn’t what I hoped it would be.

  • Who the hell writes the awful copy for these article pieces. They are riddled with cliches and stock phrases and have awful narration to boot. The writing does no favors to the people highlighted or the situations they portray. The narration leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve heard better from people who don’t pretend to know what they’re doing.

  • strange that homosexuals are calling themself gay. Gay used to mean happy. People are people not matter what their sexuality is, and most of them are just people nothing gay, as in happy, about that. Sounds a bit like one of those sales idea, if we call it like happy it would sound more fun. But in reality it is nothing special.

  • Why did you use a scary cartoon to name every single person? I think it is disrespecful. You are talking about human beings, scary would be naming killers and rapists, for ezample, a husband and faher who kills his entire family for an affair, that is scary, not homosexuality, You are naming respectful, hard working people, smart and extremely talented.

  • Dear Cher: I am a 77 year old woman from northwestern Mass. I remember you from the beginning, Outstanding, above reproach, finding her place in the universe. I totally understand your life issues, but look at where you are now. You are still an amazing woman, with superior family. Be blessed always.

  • No one goes through life without challenges. Some of ours you never hear about but Cher’s troubles were broadcast everywhere and her public life seemed so thrilling and beautiful. This goes to show you how tough life can be for everyone. Don’t ever envy another person because you don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes.

  • I never had a clue about Cher’s tribulations. She and Sonny were such a popular couple especially with their hit ” I’ve got you babe”, who could of foreseen an end to their popularity and TV special The Sonny and Cher show. When they separated, many of their fan base couldn’t believe it. Cher is such a presence whether in acting, putting out songs and daring to be herself in her risqué clothing, we all love Cher. She’s beautiful, gifted and soulful. I will always love Cher and miss her connection to Sonny as they really were great to watch together.

  • You fail to note that anyone else who went through all she had been through would have given up. But Cher did not give up. She is a wonderful person and she often spoke through her heart. As of her acting career, you need the right people to meet in order to get the parts. She was an outstanding actor and her pain in her life only helped her acting career. I often wondered what happened to her after Moonstruck. Thank you for showing this on Cher but her life is not tragic, it’s Life. Life throws you curveballs occasionally, but it’s how you deal with them on how your going to move on. Cher was courageous and proved it many times. My wife and I must have watched Moonstruck at least 30 times. We are both Italians and Cher deserved her reward as she made you feel that part. Whoever wrote that movie must have been Italian as it was spot on and after perusal it the first time we thought Cher was Italian. God Bless you Cher, you were always a favorite of mine growing up.

  • At 77, Cher, despite all the challenges she has faced in her life‘s journey has always had the ability to rise above them, and come out, smelling and shining like a rose made of gold. I believe that all these so-called challenges served Cher’s higher purpose in life. And they served her well and she has become a better person rearrange my office for going through them. She is truly not only an entertainment icon. She is a shining example of how to live one’s life to the fullest.

  • Dearest Cher I have loved you since I was a child and heard you and Sonny on the radio. You are a survivor, very humble and a warrior. Growing up we’d watch The Sonny and Cher Show every week and later on your show Cher. You were my idol. We watched you become more and more beautiful, glamorous and more confident as a performer. My God, how good you were as an actress too! So proud of your successes. So sorry to see your grief when Sonny passed away. You didn’t disappoint when I finally saw you live in concert in Australia. It seemed surreal and I will never forget it. I know it’s a long time you have been in the entertainment industry and the world knows we will never have another amazing talented person like you. Always in my heart 💗 Love you forever Cher Annette

  • I think that Cher was and is a Courageous Woman who lived through hard times and a stormy lifestyle while growing up. However, all that she had to endure made her a very strong woman who did not give up on her dream. I admire her for that and have always loved perusal her perform. She is an ICON in her own right. Life knocked her down a number of times, but she never gave up. She kept trying and turned those disappointments into celebrations by continuing to follow her Dream. What an awesome Woman! I admire her with utmost admiration.

  • There will never be anyone like Cher. Too bad she had to go through such heartache but it proves she is a strong woman who should be admired. I grew up with her music and absolutely love her. She is a great entertainer and very versatile with her music and acting. One of my favorite movies is Moonstruck which I have on DVD which my husband and I watch occasionally. I can never get tired of her. May God bless her in the coming years and keep her well.

  • Well, I recently watched Cher on an NBC Christmas Special where she sang, danced, was interviewed, and has just released a new album! Not only could she still sing!! but she looks like she’s 35!! Anyone who has been through all that she has, has overcome again and again and AGAIN, and is still radiant and able to perform with “youngsters” at the age of 77 (Not 80!!) cannot be said to be living a “SAD” life! She’s amazing, and a shining example of never giving up!!

  • All y’all people should stop being haters! Who cares about who, what, where, how she came to be the Most Beautiful Woman in the World! She is a true survivor! And great warrior! Let her live her life with who or how ever she finds true happiness and sincere love 💕 She has made so many believe in themselves And I’m a proud fan and a BELIEVER! I love CHER ! She’s Amazing!! She has a beautiful voice, smile, and best of all her HEART ❤️

  • I thank you most sincerely for the documentary on Cher’s life. In a man’s world of the recording artists, and a mother trying to form a career whilst bringing up her children, i think she has not only come out as a strong courageous and talented person, but a caring and loyal one. It helps to educate people to the fact that she is rather noble and hopefully stamps out the only knowledge some people have of how many plastic surgeries she has undergone. A survivor in every sesnse.

  • Cher a fost o mare artista si cantareata A fost superba in toata viata ei dar sa nu uitam ca toti imbatranim si nu stapanim lumea asta A lasat o comoara in urma ei Muzica si film. Nu a trait degeaba .Cher va ramane legenda in lumea artistica A fost minunata si foarte frumoasa .E de apreciat pt tot ce a facut pe scena si ne A bucurat inimile Cher va ramane in sufletele noastre pt totdeauna .

  • I was born in 1970. I remember seeing Sonny and Cher everywhere when i was little. Cher was so beautiful when she was young. She had the perfect look for the 70’s. Her tall, thin frame, flowing, straight, long, dark hair and exotic looking face set her apart. In the mid 80’s I also remember she shocked everyone when she tried to revive her career with the outfit she wore in the article to her song “If I could turn back time”. Today, what she wore we wouldn’t bat an eyelid to, but at the time it was provocative.

  • Everybody loves Cher. She is the epitome of life, love and grandeur. I’ ve been a fan since I became aware of her. We share the same birthday in so many ways. I think that she should be admired instead of critisized. She has gained her place in every way. To me and many more, she is the best performer in her category. Praise to you all the way ” CHER ” 🎉🎉😊🙃🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏💅

  • As a huge fan of Sony and Cher, we were the same age (Sher and I) I owned and wore out every song they released. They could do no wrong and I loved them both but especially Cher. I followed their careers and shared their ups and downs. I never could understand the break-up but I was (and am) Still a fan of Cher although I don’t have her picture all over my walls, My wife wont let me. I love and remember when they were the number one music pair in the world, I still play their songs and hope Cher goes on as long as she wants. I have ordered that her records, tapes (8 track, cassets, floppy discs and thumb drives) be put in my casket when I go. She is, was and will always will be the best, most beautiful celebrity of all time.

  • Age is just a number, and while it’s true that Cher is now about 80, it’s important to remember that everyone faces their own struggles as they grow older. Instead of focusing on sadness, let’s cherish the memories and the impact she’s had on music and culture. Cher’s journey is a testament to the strength of the human spirit, and we should applaud her for living life on her own terms.

  • I Adore CHER!!! I grew up on her & Sonny. Then her alone. She’s a Great Model,,, Wonderful Singer,,, Hilarious Comedian,,, Brilliant Actress. She’s Still Pumpin!!! She ridin this train called life til the end!!! She’s a tough customer hitting bottom & rising back to the top for decades. That’s a Lady I can Respect!!! And I’d just bet that she’s

  • I have always admired Cher, something about her behavior would tell me that she is a fighting woman, I had heard a little about her life, but this article opened more my perception of her; now I understand that she is not only a beautiful person, but she is also a beautiful soul, a woman who understands hardships of life. Very much like “Tina Turner”.

  • It is by 4 degrees of seperation I have some knowledge of CHER. this lady is to be admired,an explorer of Life.Does not suffer fools gladly. She is no Diva. In fact she is one wise Human Being.Has more than a fair share of humility. Her journey through her Life has offered many opportunities;it has left her knowing how to live her life. One very wise woman.

  • Strikingly Cher. Uniquely Cher. One can only dream of a life like Cher. Think we all learnt to believe in life after love thanks to Cher. Seen behind the MASK of disability and so called social acceptability as to “normal”. We all be so lucky to be so beautifully aged with such an enriched life experience. You Rock Cher.❤

  • I always supported Cher I don’t understand why no one else did it is so wrong how she has tried so hard to be a singer and those people out there just didn’t want to give her any help or support so they let her down when she really needed them and they call them selves fans of Cher so where were they when she needed them

  • I grew up with the Sonny and Cher show, I loved it! And I still admire, adore and love you, Cher. You’re a strong woman. You kept on going and you showed your talent to the world, just like you wanted to. I just wonder if those fashion outfits you thought of in school were anything like you ended up wearing. Boy, you are one creative woman! Blessings to you and thank you for all of the years of your fun and entertainment. XOXO, B.

  • SAD – the teachers she had didn’t teach her the way she needed to be taught with dyslexia. There is a certain teaching element -and she would have scored no doubt straight A’s! Challenges are unfortunately a part of life – I believe it is how you view each and every significant challenge that brings you through each one – trying to learn something from everything that is thrown at you. She did it and truly dealt with everything! As we all grow older I think she is aging ever so gracefully. Personally I remember perusal the Sonny and Cher show and try to memorize each and outfit she wore! I adored her and truthfully continue to do so! I hope she continues to live her remainder ever so happy and healthy!

  • By living life for the last half of a century I have learned that nobody gets thru life for free. It is the hard times which helped me develope character and being grateful for what I have. Cher is a champion of a woman and I have an enormous respect for where she came from and what she has accomplished in her life. Cher is a success in every way that there is. I love ya Cher.

  • Cher you will always go down in history with your music and free spirited soul i will always remember Sonny & Cher “i’ve got you babe” just like Michael Jackson song “I’ll be there” Please continue to do Cher that’s how i will always remember you doing what you love best doing you and loving your family GODBLESS ❤ 😊 hallelujah

  • I just loved this beautiful woman’s incredible voice and all the songs she sang. ‘I got you babe’ helped me fall in love with my first girlfriend as we listened to Sonny and Cher nightly. My favorite song was ‘Gypsies Tramps and Thieves, a great presentation that brought out the finest of this adorable woman. I think she was born on the same day of the year as me.

  • Cher u inspire me cause mine and your life when u were a teenager is so much alike I love u as a person and a famous person I love your music and your acting I’ve listen to all your songs and watched every movie you have ever done u r very good at what u do in your life Your friend for life I’m 60 years old now

  • Well I have had a long time to think about growing up and I can relate to having dyslexia. chances are one of her parents had this disorder in there family tree and that would explain the misdirection from the beginning of life’s development for Cher. Everyone feels as a child that the parents somehow must have all the answers but none of us do.Everyone is on a learning curve some more then others. I am sure at this point in Cher’s life looking back the whole story is seen with clarity to an much higher degree. Life is full of mistakes. There’s really no getting around it. As soon as we can understand what a problem is we can fix it and denial has to be recognized in the process. I don’t know many well adjusted people in my childhood. Maybe two or three. Being that we are here to learn in life I can’t help feeling that it’s for a reason we can not comprehend in this realm. c)8-)

  • Pain and injustice? Sounds to me that she had a far better life than many others. She became a huge star as a teenager, made tons of money, and went through life on her own terms… she turned trying times into triumph… she became one of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars. Every choice she made as an adult was hers. Nobody ruled over Cher, not even Sonny. He was a bit older than she was so he did run their career early on but Cher took control after Chastity was born. I’d take her troubled life over mine any day. She hasn’t seen half of what real suffering is like. I admire her as a strong, intelligent, and independent woman and an amazing talented actress and singer… I like her as a person and I’ve even taken some cues from her over the years as a young girl growing up. But I don’t know a soul that hasn’t had a difficult life in one way or another. She just didn’t allow hers to destroy her or her pursuit of happiness.

  • Life is a journey filled with obstacles, each person facing their own trials. While many struggles remain concealed from the public eye, Cher’s adversities were thrust into the limelight, juxtaposed against the backdrop of her seemingly glamorous and enchanting public persona. Her narrative serves as a profound illustration of the universal hardships endured by all individuals. It’s a poignant reminder not to harbor envy towards others, for we can never truly comprehend the battles they fight behind closed doors.

  • i find cher to be a woman who speaks her mind no matter what she has faced a lot of challenges in her life shes tackled the good the bad and the ugly but i like her as the person she is one of my most favourite movies ive seen her in and loved the show and that was the mask brilliant show but i do hope that cher for the remaining years to come in life are much more filled with happiness its all about respect give and take we all need lots of that in our lives the world would be much better than it is cheers cher your beautiful.

  • I remember seeing her and Sony in concert back in the ’70’s. Gorgeous is an understatement. Her blue-black hair and stage presence was awesome. Such a great voice, such a talent in every respect, and one of the most noted icons in showbusiness. I would love to meet her and talk to her in person. I am such a fan of hers. There may have been tough times, but so many people go through heartaches. I will always remember the great time at that concert in Westbury, Long Island. She is a true treasure! I wish her every happiness, good health and peace that life offers. Thank you Cher for all your great music and entertainment.

  • I have loved Cher since I was a little girl! Her talent and beauty is something all little girls hope will come to us all🎉 What hasn’t she achieved…NOTHING..looked fabulous..got the hot guys and pretty babies…influences with old friends in the big White House..money coming in for doing nothing..movie stars can look 20 on camera well into ages… #America #Dreams #Peace ❤

  • Her life was surely better than many. Most Americans had tumultuous lives trauma, uncertainty and instability, what else is new? Its not how you start, but where you end up. Looks like she did pretty well for herself ending up as a well loved iconic entertainer, actor and Goddess of Amazing ! She literally shaped a generation. Most of us should be so blessed!

Bedankt lieve Cher! Liefs linda, love you ❤

  • Lets call it as it is. Sonny was a divorced man n 27. She just turned 16. Cher moved in with sonny flat broke. Her rent was cleaning songs apartment n being groomed for sex. Originally they exchanged wedding vows alone in a bath tub just the two of them. Later married for legal reasons. Chastity was a accident. Abortion wasn’t legal until 1973. Cher wanted to go to Europe n have one. Sonny talked her out of it. They took chad on the road with them n a nanny. Odd getting pregnant with all mans kid was a accident as well. Immediately pregnant announced two weeks after they married. All man had a drug problem. Cher used the all man brothers to up her career.

  • It saddens me how she shoved her little 7yr old son into a boarding school, apparently without regret to this very day! She should bend over backwards to try to make it up NO MATTER WHAT to this remarkable young man who, no doubt, will never forget the pain and rejection he so cruelly was subjected to. May God keep him strong … and may God, forgive her!

  • Cher is a remarkable woman and one who persevered through many tough times including her childhood. I am old enough to remember The Sonny and Cher Show, I enjoyed it. I was never a fan of Cher until her movie career began although I loved her unique voice, her music at the time didn’t fit in with my classic rock n roll. I may not have always been a die hard fan but eventually became a fan, she’s beautiful, a fantastic actress and an amazing singer/entertainer.

  • I have to admit, I was disappointed with this article initially, because the title led me to believe it would cover Cher’s current life & lifestyle, not a history of her past experiences. However, the maker(s) of this article did a good job revealing the struggles she faced in her early years growing up, and how those hardships affected the resilient person she would ultimately become. I believe it also did a good job relaying the ups and downs of both her professional career and her personal relationships, which were inextricably entwined, as well as her challenges as a single mother. A great portrayal of her strength and determination! I’ve always been a fan of Cher – her confidence and natural beauty, as well as her sharp wit and unquestionable talent make her an icon in the entertainment world, and one of the most recognizable names & faces in the world. Cheers, Cher! You are an inspiration to us all!!

  • Everyone has difficulties going through life, if not one thing, something else. Cher was fortunate in that she had looks, talent, intelligence, and she was smart enough to enjoy her life while she was young and able to do so. One is less able to fulfill one’s dreams when one is aged, and memories of good times past serve to keep people warm and happy in their senior years. Don’t put off following your dreams until you are older. Live life NOW, while you can enjoy the struggles and the successes! You will be happy you did so.

  • Wow I had no idea her childhood was so complicated as well as her life before & after Sonny rip ~~~ you’d never know any of it to see her act sing or whatever as her acting talent is tops & her singing is the bomb ! She’d always press boundaries with what was or was not allowed or except able a true rebel ! I never had the honor to see her in concert but I’ve seen all her movies & music articles & what she did for that innocent Lil elephant & how she followed them for every part of the move was so truly amazing & awesome ! She handled Chaz’s situation very well & in the end was out there supporting the entire community as a mom but more like a friend ! Chaz was a beautiful Lil blonde child but for whatever reason wasn’t comfortable in her own skin & nobody should have to live like that no matter who or what or what the reasons are ! I know she & her mom were close as I remember Cher would always include her in everything as they got older & got past any issues ! You could tell they truly loved each other! I’ve always loved Cher her music & articles her acting her totally beautiful body & face to go with it ! She can dance really well & doesn’t look anywhere near her age & is out singing her songs again ! She worked hard to get to where she is today & done a damn good job of it as she’d get down low but it never kept her down as she’d always get right back up & start over again until one day she got on top & stayed there ! And with all her success fame & glory she always remained nice .

  • Oh, can I ever relate with Cher & what she went through in the stupid school system. I can feel what she went through re: school, I grew to hate school too, they literally don’t believe in your problems that you can’t do anything about! You’re blamed for not trying hard enough…that’s B.S! We can’t fit into a slot that’s not meant for us period! So, we’ve lost out on our educational opportunities/experiences. Gotcha Cher!

  • Love her and she is just as beautiful as ever and even more, and it’s been from the inside and out!! Loved her outrageous costumes Lol!! She just wore them for the stage, but she was not of those costumes, because her heart is what really “bared” through to the outside over and above every costume she wore!! Love you sweet Cher 💖💖💖

  • Cher has always been a strong person. We can all respect her for wanting to be on stage. I think I still see her next to Sonny singing “I got you Babe!” I remember she was the one who changed her costume every song or skit. She had an unusual look that always appealed to us. I think lots of folks thought she had some Native American roots because she had long dark straight hair sometimes. She’s definitely one of a kind person, but the nicest thing I remember her for was “Moon Struck”!

  • Personally, I think people she walk 5 feet in her shoes before saying anything about negative about her. But she has worn a thick skin for many years. I’m 64 and to me she is as beautiful now, as she was years ago. I feel sorry for those who get in her way. Keep doing it your way Cher, it works for you. Very well

  • Ive loved cher always and forever. From Sonny and Cher days to present days now. Yes,she definitely had more than her share of troublesome past but has always rised above them, showing her strength and strong will. So very admirable. How can anyone not love her. Im so proud of her. So true, the statement you never know what personal issues someone may be going through, or what ones self may go through. Thus why no one should EVER pass judgment on another. Were all human,no one is perfect. We’re all Gods children. And by his grace and through prayer and faith we can overcome struggles. When life gets hard and the waters rise soooooo deep, just remember our lifeguard walks on water. Keep the faith.😊❤

  • Cher, Iris from L.A. hollering at you. You have lived a blessed life. No shame in your game whatsoever. Continue to be proud of the person you definitely are. You are one of my favorite entertainers in the music and movie industry. Also, Chaz and Elijah are definitely living proof of a wonderful and proud human beings that you raised. Never forget that!!!

  • Young or old it doesnt matter, she is gorgeous and talented either way. She is controversial because people and the media are amazed at her, dare i say even enviable. I do not think there has been a celebrity who has inspired and influenced every generation for the last 60 years the way she has. She is feminine yet feminist, and a symbol of stamina, perseverance, and strength. She can be whatever she wants to be because she can do it, not because of money but because shes smart, she knows how….and that is why she is there and the rest of us are here.

  • I studied psychology for 30 years and then quit it. Well, my beliefs that the Freudian or whatever beliefs that the early childhood years had such a great effect, (Not that you can’t rise above them.) have changed. And Cher went on a roller coaster in her early childhood years, which she has rode throughout her life. Great history here man. Great job.

  • I think what was exposed here throughout this short article which illustrates the sad and hard, difficult times these people have experienced time after time. In one way I can’t help but admire the overall dedication and perseverance of all of these persons who had to go through what they did to end up as what most people consider successful. Sure, they have attained to certain levels of financial success and rewards but, their individual personal lives were consistently an absolute mess. What are the values they have passed down to and instructed their children with. How are those children, their offspring, going to live coming from such social backgrounds and atmosphere?

  • God wants us to know that growing old is a part of His plan and purpose for our lives. He wants us to trust in His promises and presence as we age, and to grow in the knowledge and likeness of His Son. He also wants us to share our wisdom and experience with the younger generation, and to learn from the trials and joys of life.

  • That quote about marrying bc of morals was specifically a quote of Eliabeth Taylor. It never had anything to do w Cher’s mother, I promise. Cher’s mom is specifically the one who guaranteed Cher she would be someone famous, her mom could see Cher’s future and facilitated it. She added to Cher’s unique purpose in her life. I remember when press broke the story of her bringing her mom and sister to the West coast wealth.

  • If I was Cher I would sue the person or people responsible for altering a picture of her to make herself look so terrible! Cher has never looked anything like the thumbnail pic of her. I’ve never seen her look any older than 40s in all the interviews, concerts, talk shows, or any footage of her at all!
