  • This is so touching… I’m a taiwanese American, but regretfully my parents adopted the “daughters are water poured outside” thinking. Although, my father is head of engineering, I wish I had been born from a father who truly loved his daughter like this. How lucky and fortunate she is! May she have all the happiness and joy this day onward, but also give care to her father in his old age.

  • That’s what my older brother (who raised me with my mom in the absence of a deadbeat father) told my then husband (now ex-husband). He said “we didn’t give her to you to be treated badly. If you can’t treat her well, give her back, we can take care of her.” I call him my dad. He never left me even all through my adult life. Now I’m remarried at age 44 and extremely happy. I still can’t believe a husband could be like this!❤

  • What the dad said couldn’t be said enough. When dads have to give their little girls away they just hope that the man they gave their daughter away to will love her unconditionally and endlessly, but unfortunately, that’s not always the case. So yes, if he ever changes his mind, please, please just return her to the people who love her!

  • Now THAT is giving your daughter away! Her father has me in bed crying. I would’ve all out sobbed, but I didn’t want my niece hearing me & asking why I’m not taking my nap yet 😂😂 Bless this father/man of God. He is a true blessing & leader to his household, I can tell. It touched me that he prayed for them then & there & to see his level of emotion. And his request to bring her back if ever her groom changed his mind. Lord, have mercy, what a beautiful care, love, & headship! It reminds me how my grandparents told my mother she could always come back home if it just didn’t work out. May the Lord bless what’s His, & we know He will. May the knowledge & love the father has for Jesus be a beautiful inheritance in this family always. 🤍

  • That was wonderful. He brought God into their relationship! There is nothing deeper and stronger than a Father-Daughter relationship. I lost my Dad when I was 18 to a stroke. My friends and female cousins were always jealous how my Dad treated me. He taught my brothers and me how we should be treated, and how he expected us to treat our Mother.

  • Because these days it is so hard to trust another with the most precious things of your heart. 😢 How this father felt he needed to say that just shows how messed up and unsafe the world has become. “Don’t hurt her bring her back to me…” Lord may you keep those words of that loving father forever ringing in that young man’s heart. That even when the enemy tries him he will stand firmly established upon the righteousnes of God. For Your name’ sake Lord Jesus bring their marriage to perfect peace. Amen🙏🏽🇿🇦

  • Change of Heart. “Heart change, is a transplant of honesty, it is planted, it is designed in righteousness, and founded by truth, if it is altered, you both can have it back to one another, since you already planted it to one another, it changes everyday, what’s your cholest count, is it at par with your waistline, what is your heart beat, is it the same with your Glucose, am certain you’ll change, but am still your genuine, originale heartbeat for you all” God Father God The Son. Happy Wedding. Change of Heart is warmth and so as Smoother and livelier, planted. ❤❤❤❤

  • This Father knows the Heavenly Father for sure. God loves you more than this father loves his daughter. I pray for everyone reading this, may the love of God almighty fill your heart and may you believe that Jesus is your savior. It’s hard for some to accept. Don’t stop seeking, he says you will find him if you seek for him with all your heart.

  • Never have I ever heard a father say such beautiful words.❤ 😢 The best part: ” If there ever comes a day that you don’t love her anymore, dont hurt her, just give her back to me.” WHAT?! My heart ouches with admiration for this father. I wish her father was my father. She’s so blessed. I have God, but if my earthly father were whole, this is the kind I would want.

  • You have to commend the bride’s father for making his intentions very clear. He recognizes that not all relationships end well with couples who end up hurting one another only to split. He gave specific choices to his future son-in-law just in case things don’t work out which is good because most men under duress don’t know what to do. He also recognized and turned themselves to the Lord to bless them. This is a true loving father.

  • What a beautiful way to give your daughter away in marriage 🥲 This father’s words and blessing are so moving, especially when he asks him not to hurt her and bring her back to him if he ever has a change of heart. I imagine many fathers would probably say something similar if only they could voice their feelings as they give their little girls away 😢

  • What a POWERFUL MESSAGE FROM A LOVING FATHER WHOSE LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL TO HER DAUGHTER. That messages hits hard to any man who will pass his daughter to his husband. ” If oneday you have a change of HEART and you dont LOVE HER ANYMORE PLS. dont hurt her, bring her back to me, ang give her back to me😭😭😭 it really made me cry. Blessed this LOVING FATHER. CONGRATS TO THE NEWLY WED MAKE GOD AS A CENTER OF YOUR MARRIAGES LIFE GODBLESS🙏🙏🙏

  • Damn what I would have given for a father like this. No amount of money in the world would be as valuable as this man. Man I cried when he said that part about if he one day didn’t love his girl don’t hurt her just bring her back to her father. And that is what God wants husbands to do do if one day you don’t love your wife just give his daughters back to Jesus just don’t hurt her.

  • This was really moving. I sobbed my eyes out and after perusal all of it I went on to do my daily tasks. About an our later, I started thinking about it again and felt a deep well of emotion for this father. His love for his child is so great. I want every single little child in the world to feel love like that from their parent/parents.

  • I have spent my entire life in the united states army and I have three combat tours under my belt. I have seen every horror the human race brings to the table so it has hardened me inside. Seeing this article brought me to my knees. I cried like a baby. The love between a father and a daughter. What a bond.

  • That is a father that truly cares for his daughter and after he said if your heart changes etc., and the groom said that will never happen, was it not loving his wife anymore or I’ll never give her back to you? 🤔you’ve got to remember that other countries have different policies rules etc., some wives are hit if the husband thinks she’s being compliant or bows down to his every demand and that father knows it all to well I’d say something he’s been trying to get their government to change.

  • What a fortunate young lady to have a father who loves her with all his entire heart and soul. His proud moment was his greatest fear and he gave his son in law his promise to keep. “Put my daughter first always or return her to me.” Well, my father said to my husband, “Are you sure, because you can’t give her back” – wt 😆

  • This so hard to ask of, the father, it’s simple and honest, there is a return policy, this is so wonderful of the father, to me this is above all honor and respect beyond comprehension that life is simple, we as humans can get along and be United to be there for one and another as a team. Media destroys us all, controls our brains and feeds us no good stuff. This father is the best father ever in my books. Honored and remembered always, my blessing go to all the world, pray god in the name of Jesus Christ protect us all and help us learn from one and another, pray this couple stays married everlasting, with prosperous joy. Amen.

  • If only there would be more Godly men on this planet such this woman’s father, who clearly understands how precious our offspring are, the world this side of heaven would truly be a better place to live… I am convinced that every decent person who is a parent would agree. No parent would ever want to see or hear of his daughter getting hurt from any man, or for any reason…especially one who doesn’t appreciate the value of a wife or any woman for that matter. “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭25‬-‭29‬

  • This may look sweet but if i had a daughter and i fully trust my son-in-law, i wouldn’t give my son-in-law a lecture. Instead i would just smile, nod and give him a big hug him. That’s me letting him know, “you’ve proven to me you love her, and you love the people precious to her. you’re now the only other man i trust with her. I’m proud of you.”

  • If I go back to my Ex my dad’s soul will never rest in peace as if he was alive long long time back he would have freed me from my Ex himself so he leaving me or saying divorce is a blessing for me from above as a “friend in need is a friend indeed” not a man who uses you and throw you out with your belongings in your wrost and yet expects you to run back to him at his feet that will never happen as you should never go back to a man who left you once if he can leave you once he can definitely twice too 🙏😀🥰

  • All my dad did was compare me to my sister and you know what the one he loved the most never lived up to his standards. Then he tried to set me up and kill me. I’m happy for this girl you have an awesome dad. You know what I’m a good person and I did everything that you thought I couldn’t so where you at now dead. Good riddance. I’m living my best life

  • I dislike the practice of the father giving away the daughter in older periods, because back then it means the daughter was a possession or property being transferred from one man to the next. But modern fathers like this dad changed the world. They gave a whole new meaning to the act of giving away. The daughters are no longer seen as properties being passed on, but a live and loved human being that is hard to let go.

  • That was teuly beautiful and amazing. Only if all marriages reflected this way. One thing i especially took aeay from this is, Jesus Christ is like this to a dying sinful world. He gives us free will even if it means death snd lobed us so much while we were yet sinners, if we just humble ourselves and come back to Jesus Christ and repent he will forgive us and still love us. Dont wait until you die because it could be too late. Get right with Christ now.

  • What an Awesome moment, BUT to be a buzz kill, those Masks! Get rid of those darn masks. Pray over your entire party before the event or during if you’re afraid of a sickness. How can you enjoy a moment like that with family and friends if you cannot even share each others facial expressions to truly show what they are experiencing. GOD Bless You All!
