Hey everyone! I’ve seen a lot of people ask about seasoning the chicken before sauteing. I don’t add salt because the prosciutto and chicken broth can add all the salt you need, so it’s really up to you after the dish is done. My dad growing up didn’t enjoy black pepper so you’ll notice most, if not all of my recipes, I don’t use black pepper. Other than that, you can always tweak my recipes to fit your taste. Some people like adding butter to the broth to make it richer and thicken the sauce. You can also add some white wine to the broth to brighten the flavor and make it a bit more savory! I love love love hearing from you. Thanks for perusal!

Tre!!!! This is your zen! Your soul is at home in the kitchen, making food for the ones you love. I could so see you on the food network or bravo if they are lucky. Taking the cooking show world by storm! Tre you are like a beautiful bird. Leave that toxic nest that is the Rhonj. You don’t need to squabble with those attention hungry women anymore. This is your time to outshine those who are hurting you. I will pray for you. Know that whatever happens next is Gods will. Let him take control of the wheel. See where he takes you. Love you Tre!! May God protect and bless you and your beautiful family.
Awesome you’re doing a YouTube cooking website! Highly recommend your books to anyone that loves to cook … would love for each main dish you make to recommend side dishes (even how you make your salads w the main dish of the day) – I always struggle with that. Thank you so much, and looking forward to more postings!
I am looking forward to trying this recipe. My Mom was a stay at home mom with FIVE girls. So glad that you are making sure your girls get an education. I’m a single parent and would love to put more into cooking for my daughter but I am always stumped and have to think about it so much. I guess that’s what happens when Home Ec. Stopped being taught in school lol. You make it look less intimidating and fun! This episode made me realize how much food brings the whole family together and sparks a little joy. I have a couple of questions: ❤What are your suggestions regarding side dishes to go along with it? ❤How do I prevent the flour from falling off the chicken during the sauté process? ❤Best tips for meal planing throughout the week?
OMG, Tre im so excited to make this for my dad for fathers day. My mom and the love of my life passed within a month of eachother last year so now it’s just me & my dad. It will be a surprising and exciting fathers day with your recipe after last years fathers day being so hard for us. Thank you so much❤❤❤For sharing your life, your family and your recipes with all of us fans! God bless 🙏
Hi Teresa, Congratulations on your lovely wedding! I hope you will have true happiness! I know I am going to LOVE this website! At my age, many members of my Italian family are no longer with us and food brings me closer to them when I make an old family favorite. I was wondering if your dad or mom ever made homemade sausage? I think I remember from an old show with your dad cooking. Maybe it was sauce? But I miss my Italian sausage and wondered if you had a recipe? Ciao bella!
LQQKS Absolutely delicious Teresa, I’m waiting for more recipes and to watch youz guys cook. I’m Italian/Irish and in our family, growing up, our Dad and Mom cooked. Teresa, I stopped perusal the housewives several years ago, but you were one of the best on New Jersey Housewives. I just found your cooking website! I didn’t know you were so talented in the kitchen! Wow, Italian and Mexican food are my favorite, my first husband was Italian and since I was only 18 when we got together (back in the late 60’s), he taught me how to cook Italian dishes. Since I am Native American I was already familiar with cooking Mexican food. It’s my weakness lol. I’m going to make the chicken Parmesan now. I usually make Veal Parmesan, so now the chicken. Thank you for being you, and your girls are absolutely gorgeous, you are lucky. There were four of us girls, no brothers, and we’re all almost exactly two years apart in age. I’d like to get your cookbooks, do I go to Amazon?
I honestly haven’t watched RHONJ in years but I love your personality. “Cook with Love”… I love it!!! I always say that when I cook my goal is to put love on my family’s plates. Looking forward to seeing more! 💞 P.S. My favorite dish at one of the local chain restaurants (Carrabba’s) is Pollo Rosa Maria. It’s similar to this dish but the chicken is butterflied and it has Fontina instead of Mozzarella and it’s served with a lemon basil butter sauce. We have great authentic Italian restaurants in our area (Baltimore has a Little Italy district) but somehow, this dish is still my favorite. 😍
To think the guys have reached a point in this show where the only critique the judges had was dryness. Before the judges usually couldn’t go through one episode with several, more insane criticisms/comments and gagging or being unable to swallow something they tasted. As someone who thinks weddings and marriage are not really needed in our society today for several reasons, I love and appreciate that a divorce cake won the episode. The fact that it won the wedding cake challenge is hilarious.
Eugene and Marissa are a fabulous duo together. Would love to see more. They way Eugene helped her stop spiraling and effectively helped her win overall, and then to top it off Marissa giving Eugene credit for his help was beautiful to see. She made that cake, she made that idea, and she not only accepted help when she needed it but she made sure to credit her helper. Truly a beautiful spirit in both souls.
I adore how supportive Eugene is for Marissa. He sounded so alarmed when he warned her to put her hands up when the glass broke. (I bet he was thinking of what happened to Zach.) And he helped her figure out her Plan B when the filling wasn’t setting. Also, I laughed way harder than I should have when Eugene described Without a Recipe as “the show where we make stuff with baking and it’s bad.”
Did NOBODY notice how after Keith’s joke about “Butter Makes The Batter Better” being a slogan on a sign in a mom’s kitchen, the article immediately cuts back to Jonny with that sign edited onto the wall behind him? 11:59 I am LIVING for these editing details! Mad props to whoever snuck that in there!
I love the new era of try guys, the new personalities, the vibes, it all comes together really well and I love it. The way Johnny roots for them and hypes them up is nice. The new additions to the team are all amazing. I’m so happy for Marissa this episode 👏 This without a recipe season was excellent.
I found it so sweet that Marissa thanked Eugene and gave him credit for helping him through her spiral. That truly shows good sportsmanship! I’m really impressed!!! Plus, even in the idea stage her cake sounded incredible and then she brought out the Claire Saffitz tips! Immediately shot up to my number one Try Person spot. Love you Marissa!!!! Bring back Marissa, Kwesi, and Jared for another season! We loved them!!!!
I love seeing Eugene help Melissa when she starts freaking out. He’s such a softie sometimes. Her going from “i can’t do this! I can’t do this!” To “i think i can save this” because of Eugenes’ emotional support is so sweet. And the fact that she ended up winning really goes to show you what support from friends can do.
This episode almost made me tear up. I absolutely love Marissa. She has her own personality that blends and pops out at the same time. The pairing of Eugene and Marissa was magic! Eugene’s firm yet warm stop to her spiral is one of my all-time favorite Try Guys moments now. And the way the judges all agreed with Johnny’s assessment of Marissa’s skills and her reaction… Heartwarming. Just, wow! I’m so excited to see the new Try Guys these upcoming months and how they grow and transform. Honestly, looking back, that whole thing that happened that sent them into this stage was a total blessing in disguise and I’m so excited to see where it leads! 👏👏
Just want to say that conceptually a stair-cake is a great idea for a wedding… but if it were actually made beautifully and elegantly. The image of the bride helping the groom up the last step from the concept image is a really beautiful idea and I think that could be seen at actual weddings without people thinking it looked weird. That being said, keith clearly made a flavourless, dry, malformed monstrosity that he himself said was inspired by “Pinesol” and “Floors.” Deserving of 4th place. But the concept is a winner.
This episode was so wholesome! I was genuinely impressed with both Zach’s 100% correct ratio of ingredients as well as Marissa’s final cake! Eugene’s bit about Six the musical and then his phone call to his mom at the end were incredible. Keith looks great in a wedding dress and I liked his passion for floor cleaner haha. Excellent judging as well! Just an all around wonderful episode!
Eugene talking Marissa down from her passionfruit gelatin meltdown was so sweet. 🥺 You could tell she was really panicking and he was able to calm her down so effortlessly, even presenting her with an alternative filling which ended up being a hit! Such a golden moment. Congrats, Marissa! Go forth, tits out! lol Really enjoyed this episode, and the entire season as a whole!
You got to love how somewhat chaotic this without a recipe episode this was. The fact Keith goes off on about how his cake isn’t drier than Eugene’s instead of the fact he lost to a literal poison cake, and that Marissa’s cake isn’t even a wedding cake yet she WON a bake wedding cakes without a recipe challenge. The chaos was amazing
Zach…definitely a wedding cake. My sister would absolutely fall in love with this whole idea you’ve created! She loves glitter and sparkle and would love to have a design inspired by what you’ve made! Great job!!! There was a ton of ads. I really hated the number of ads I had to sit through to see this article. I hope this isn’t gonna be that way all the time and that it’s just a fluke. lol
Eugene helping Marissa when she almost had a breakdown because of passion fruit gelly is why I love this show and this boys and everyone working there! It may be a competition, they may stress out and shout, but the most important thing is for them to have fun. If one of them doesn’t, everyone else helps that person out! Love you all!
This is my favorite WAR episode ever!! We had Keith having a meltdown after losing which is always hilarious, Eugene’s mom roasting/complimenting him and crazy awesome ideas for cakes. But my favorite is Eugene being so sweet and supportive to Marissa, the whole segment of him calming her down and helping her come up with a plan b was my favorite part. And I may have bought a slice of cake to have to eat while I watched this 😉
Loved this episode – so wholesome and fun! Everyone genuinely tried without gimmicks, and there was still so much drama. Everyone’s cake turned out so well! Huge congrats to Marissa, and also Zach for improvement! I enjoyed not having weed/sex jokes for once as they’ve gotten old. Though I was surprised no one caught the hydrangeas before the guest judge.
I think this was one of my favorite episodes! The salt at the very start of “we’re all wife guys today” to everyone’s ideas and executing them so incredibly well and showing their growth in WAR, Eugene’s connection with Marissa, the outfits, the vibes, and me leaving genuinely hoping Marissa starts a baking show. Good work!!
“Butter makes the batter better honey” 😂 also Marissa continues to impress me with her ideas and using her PR culture with her foods and when Eugene was calming her down and ending it with “yeah” he sounded so much like Gordon Ramsey. And Johnny is so sweet with Zach and Marissa. “All stars” hahaha.
I love that during Zach’s judging you can see in Jonny’s face he gets annoyed at the othwr judges for just a second when they start talking about the density of Zach’s cake. You can see his inner monologue is “Who cares if its dense? Its Edible, its cake, AND IT TASTES GOOD??” The man has gone through so much at Zach’s hands specifically, he deserved to enjoy some cake for once!! 😂😂
I love that in the beginning of the episode Eugene made the joke that his mom’s love life was like the musical “Six” because she divorced one husband and the other one died, and then when he accidentally beheaded the groom figurine, it truly became a “Six” themed cake. Divorced, beheaded, died lmaooooo
