A Thousand Years Bride And Groom?

An Australian bride, Elizabeth Shoesmith, planned a special surprise for her deaf husband, Scott, on their wedding day. She secretly learned sign language to the lyrics of Christina Perri’s song “A Thousand Years” during their wedding. The song was revealed to play during the couple’s wedding, and it was revealed that the groom, who is deaf, was brought to tears when his bride signed the song. The couple’s home, built on the groom’s father’s property, was to be decorated accordingly and stocked with candles. The song was chosen to represent the couple’s sentimentality and love.

The wedding videography for the wedding featured the bride and groom transforming into a vision, and the groom and bridal party walking in to the Piano Guys version of “I’m Gonna Be.” The first dance song from the Twilight movie, “A Thousand Years,” was also performed. The bride and groom were also shown a romantic wedding first dance choreography tutorial. The song was arranged by Char Adams and was performed by the talented couple.

The Bridal Chorus from Wagner’s Lohengrin is the most popular processional. It is traditionally played on a pipe organ. Some couples may choose a more modern piece of music or an alternative. Since Charles, Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer’s wedding in 1981, there has been a rise in popularity of Jeremiah Clarkes Prince of Denmark March for use as processional music. The piece was previously (and incorrectly) attributed to Henry Purcell as Trumpet Voluntary. At the end of the service, the bride and groom march back up the aisle to a lively tune. One popular choice is Mendelssohn’s Wedding March from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Another popular choice is Widor’s Toccata from Symphony for Organ No. 5.

  • The music made me feel quite sentimental. I’ve heard it before. I’ve been living throgh some tough times. Well listening to this song reminded me of when I first listened to it, when life was easier, and when I didn’t have as many problems in my life as I do now. Also, the choreography was downright beautiful. Great work!

  • Awesome dancing!❤️‍🔥 Greetings from Sweden!🇸🇪 I dance like this (in my dreams😉🤣)! I’m ok for a social dancer though. I think for most couples this is a bit much, as one dance teacher said to me : ” It’s better that you do easy basic steps and do them correctly and in step with the music. Than do a whole choreography where you’re out of step with the music.”

  • I don’t know why but, I suddenly wanted to watch a dance cover and this came to my recommendations. I stopped everything and started going through this website while imagining myself with my imaginary boyfriend. Even though I’ve never been in a relationship and don’t know how a relationship works. Brain is funny right?
