I’m a big fan of them but I can only speculate. Pauly seems narcissistic and has been future faking with her. He isn’t working towards marriage/kids. They aren’t engaged. There is no natural progression. Saying “let’s just see what happens” after 4 years together says where his head is at. His choice of words is that of a man who is comfortable right where things are at. I think he likes having someone adore him and consume herself with his life. A lot of people don’t want to ever married. To each their own. Look at Kurt Russell and Goldie. They have been together for a lifetime and their not married. Fast forward to recently (she’s now 10, but he did this YouTube podcast maybe end of last year, when she’d be 9?). They ask about custody. He says it’s all good, they have it sorted, THE CHILD flies to HIM one week of every month. How does that work with school? What about her sibling?
