Hmm…After what Zach said and now with what Tino’s saying, I think Rachel’s lying at least about some stuff. Cheating is wrong…but lying is also wrong. I would rather be with someone who messes up like Tino did but comes clean and says sorry than with someone who lies, can’t own their mistake like Tino did, and is manipulative like Rachel. You can hear her almost finish saying, “You’re not going to make me look like the bad guy.” I think that very revealing…

Cheating is wrong. 100%. And she’s not entitled to forgive him and regardless of what she did, cheating is wrong. If you’re unhappy, just leave, don’t cheat. But at the same time, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rachel was causing a lot of problems within their relationship as we all assumed she would based on her overall behavior this season. Whatever Rachel is behind the camera is one I think like Zach, Tino met.
Rachel all season just felt so self centered, she made so many of the guys feel like they weren’t loving her enough. She just seems like the type of person that constantly needs big gestures or else something is wrong. It also just seemed like no matter what Tino would’ve said or done, she was ready to walk out of that relationship, just like every time she met even a minor speed-bump on the show
My take on this is that they’re both beautiful humans but they both have some issues. and both have some manipulative tendencies. Perhaps that’s why they were drawn to each other. They’re somewhat similar in their personalities. Not being mean. I like them both but they both need to grow before they’re ready.
Right after the episode where Rachel had like a very strange personality with Zach I knew we had no idea who Rachel was behind closed doors. This is also evident here but much more during the live show. She didn’t want him to explain where he was at and that she said she would return the ring she just wanted him to apologize and she would get her moment as the queen bee, I know it’s tradition for bachelor nation to support the woman but she is wrong, and she was definitely gaslighting him. Tino deserves better.
I don’t think what he did was right but i understand him confiding in a ex who he has a connection with when he thought they were not together and kissed her i understand that accident and he told her he’d didn’t have to . She is ridiculous and wants to ruin him and make him look horrible but it made her look horrible I think instead. I don’t condone cheating but he kissed her he didn’t sleep with her that is a huge difference.
This goes so deep. I think Tino felt the need to “act out” because Rachel stopped paying as much attention to him and he no longer felt loved because she needed so much space from him. She triggered his underlying codependency issues. His way of communicating his needs going unmet was to be unfaithful to Rachel because he was too codependent to just call off the engagement or wait it out to get answers at a later date. So I’m not condoning his behavior. But I see this as an attention seeking behavior. He wants to know if Rachel still cares as evidenced through her jealousy. This validates his codependent need to feel seen, desired, and valued as a man. He doesn’t have the self esteem or communication skills necessary to be up front that although he loves her he can’t just wait around for her to feel like being with her fiance now and then and then need a bunch of space and still expect him to hang around. We’re all busy and tired adults. But when you’re in love your significant other is a person you can’t help but show desire for spending time with even if you’re busy or tired. So it was feeling one sided for him and she gave him threats and ultimatums and his ego was fragile so he sought comfort elsewhere. Not a nice thing to do but also when you live in a narcissist’s tornado you do tend to start treating others narcissistically trying to cone to grips and get out of the tornado as it swallows your soul🌪. She probably feels blind sided as she may have been used to partners sitting around waiting for her and staying loyal while she rejects and deflects blame onto them while they just take it in stride hoping she’ll come back and give as much as she gave to the relationship during the love bombing phase.
Rachel is doing a great job playing the victim. I don’t believe she wanted to move forward with this relationship, and that she did say all those things to Tino to confuse him about whether they were really a couple or not. I believe the reason for Zach’s departure on Rachel’s season was because he finally saw Rachel for who she was. Good performance Rachel, you actually almost had me convinced that Tino was the one who was lying!!!
I’m in Tino’s corner on this one. Rachel said she wanted to understand why the situation had happened. She already knew her point of you. She should have been looking to understand Tinos frame of mind and what motivated him. To me, it looked like she had already made her mind up 100% and made no attempt whatsoever to understand his point of you. I hope she looks at this interview and sees her part. I’m afraid I don’t think that much of her anymore, which is a shame because I really did admire her at the start.
Wether she wants to take responsibility or not, there are 2 sides to this situation and it’s very clear. She started distancing herself from her fiancé, not wanting to do therapy which they probably agreed on. He felt left out. What would you do if your fiancé you found on a dating show wants space after filming stops? It’s bizarre…the entire situation. And in this scene Rachel has no emotions, she’s just acting for the cameras probably trying to get ratings up for the show. In real life a real couple would’ve given it a second shot analyzing the circumstances and cutting out the noise and outsiders so they can see if there is something worth saving. Seems like the guy didn’t sleep with the girl, he kissed her then realized its a mistake, he belongs with Rachel. She was acting in favor of the show, letting her heart suffer. These leads are used if they not taking things in their own hands. Be the Matt James, who chose who he wanted irrespective of what producers wanted.
I’m torn here – because on one hand, it was so clear from the start that there were literally a dozen guys better than Tino, and I just truly never saw what Rachel saw in him. She was clearly just most attracted to him, but he literally had so many red flags. Rachel, however; undoubtedly has manipulative tendencies and has a lot of things she needs to work on before committing to a relationship. it doesn’t justify Tino’s cheating, but They just flat out were not a good combination and this was bound to happen
