Long distance marriage is the pits!!!! I totally agree with everything you said especially about raising the kids, what’s worse is the kids sometimes then struggle when dad is around to “bond” with him because they are growing and developing their own characters while he is away and he is just there like “ko ndozvakuita sisi mazuva ano” lol. There is normal communication that couples who stay together do, with long distance you have to OVER communicate to make it work but I am realizing the longer time you stay separate the more difficult it becomes to “find” each other…
I would prefer long distance where he visits or I visit ever other week or so or where we live in separate homes. I love my space and can’t imagine being saddled up with someone every single day sleeping in the same bed. Never! Let him live and work in Taiwan while I’m in Toronto and we see each other for a week once or twice a month. Perfect!
It take alot of self discipline and love to fight throuh long distance relationships. I had those relationships before and honestly would not consider it regardless😊 But come to think of it, hubby started a business in Zambia and sometimes leave for a week😢 My hubby is from Zimbabwe and he said businesses is booming abroad and other counties. And at the end of the day bills gotta be paid and having kids we need the money 💰 Love will conquer all❤
