Can You Grind In Fire Emblem Engage?

In Fire Emblem Engage, grinding is not the most exciting way to add grinding back to higher difficulties, but it is a viable option for players. Engage is designed around using 12-14 units and benching the rest, with the goal of leveling up your characters quickly. Skirmish battles provide incentives to level up characters, such as EXP, and can be used to grind other units. However, units can die in skirmishes but not in training.

To grind EXP/SP in Fire Emblem Engage, players should have a map with a tight corridor or chokehold position, at least one enemy with high Defense or Resistance, and a Qi-Adept unit to use Chain Guard. Skirmishes offer numerous rewards and provide a way to grind XP.

To get the most out of this method, players should have a full party of characters and try to have all of them take a little bit of damage. The arena can be used to train bond with emblem ring characters and train a character with a random unit.

The best ways to level up quickly in Fire Emblem Engage include using Micaiah’s Great Sacrifice, having weaker units defeat enemies, using Marth’s Mercurius Engage Weapon, and doing standard tasks. By following these tips, players can grind EXP and Gold in Fire Emblem Engage effectively.

Is Three Houses better than Engage?

Thanks. Engage has better gameplay but less customization and isn’t as replayable. Formerly known as maro_man. Three Houses has a better story, characters, and ways to play/replay, while Engage has better gameplay and visuals.

How hard is Fire Emblem Engage on hard?

Conquest Normal/Classic is OK. It’s not dumb, but it’s not super intense. The jump from normal to hard is big.

Hard mode is challenging. It’s as hard and balanced as hard mode should be in a Fire Emblem. I don’t know what I’d pick between FE6 normal and Engage hard. I never played normal Conquest, but when it came out, I played Hard and it took me a long time to beat it. People said normal Conquest was harder than Lunatic Birthright.

I’ve also gotten better at playing Fire Emblem games.

Can you infinitely level in Fire Emblem Engage?

No class can reach level 20. Players can use Master Seals to move beyond the level cap. A Master Seal lowers a unit’s level to 1, allowing them to level up to 20. Once a character reaches level 20, they must use a second seal to change classes and reset to level 1. This doesn’t reset progress, but keeps stats and lets units grow. If you change classes on the same tier with a Second Seal, your stats may change. If players change Louis’s advanced class from Great Knight to Paladin, Louis will lose some strength, armor, and gain additional resistance and other stats. This isn’t from leveling down, but from leveling away from the previous class. A player can move from level 20 to level 1 without losing any stats. Each stat has a cap. These stats are based on class. Base classes have lower stat caps than advanced classes. Special classes like Fire Emblem Dancer and Thief have their own unique caps.

Does difficulty matter in Fire Emblem Engage?

Normal is a lower difficulty option added in recent games for new strategy game players. In Three Houses, you can easily complete the first dozen maps on Normal. You can also make your characters very powerful, which makes many maps easy by the end of the game if you do enough optional battles. Normal is a good choice for new players who don’t know what to expect or aren’t confident in their strategy. You can also rewind the game as many times as you want. Playing on Normal is fine. Fire Emblem is fun when you don’t have to retry. If you’ve played other Fire Emblem games or turn-based strategy games, Hard is a better difficulty for Engage. Hard is the standard difficulty. It’s like the difficulty of the series before Normal. If you position your character carelessly, they might die. But it’s not too difficult. As long as you know about the weapon triangle and positioning, you’ll do fine. Pair this with Casual mode if Normal difficulty is too easy. It’s more challenging but forgiving of minor mistakes. Maddening difficulty is annoying and breaks the usual rules of Fire Emblem. In previous games, including Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Maddening difficulty made attacking enemies dangerous. You had to prepare and pay attention to each enemy’s equipment and skills. If you’re new to Fire Emblem, don’t try Maddening. Even if you’re experienced, it can still be hard.

The Draconic Time Crystal, also called Divine Pulse in Fire Emblem: Three Houses lets you rewind battles a few times. On Normal, it has no limit. On Hard and Maddening, it has 10 per battle. You can’t upgrade the number of uses like in Three Houses, but 10 is plenty on Hard as long as you’re an experienced player. Before Three Houses, you couldn’t rewind turns. You had to restart the game. This is a good change.

Can you marry in Fire Emblem Engage?

The game is still about the characters, with each one having their own story. The stories between the main character and their followers are mostly romantic. The game features a marriage with the pact ring system. Once a player has units at A-rank, they can use a pact ring to make a unit S-rank. They can only do this once, and the cutscene shows it as an engagement. Fire Emblem Engage doesn’t limit pact rings by gender. All characters react the same to the proposal, regardless of the player’s gender. It depends on what the player wants. They won’t get the same mechanics from marriage, but they’ll still get character connections and chances for shipping.

Is Fire Emblem Engage disappointing?

These new gameplay mechanics were satisfying, but not enough to make up for the rest of the game’s shortcomings. Fans of the older games liked the new mechanics, but fans of the newer games didn’t. Fire Emblem Engage’s combat was risky, but the game’s characters, story, and social elements were not. ESRB T for Teen: Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes.
