In the final season of The Last Kingdom, Young Uhtred, also known as Oswald, is castrated by Brida (Emily Cox) and Uhtred fears his bloodline will be targeted. Uhtred’s son, Oswald, is Uhtred and Gisela’s youngest child and Lord Uhtred’s third son. In the original Saxon Stories, Uhtred’s son is captured by Brida after her dark turn.
