On top of that, some bridesmaids may cover the entire trip for the bride-to-be—including travel, lodging, and any activities or entertainment that may be included. While it’s not an obligation, many brides choose to contribute to their own bachelorette party expenses, such as covering her own travel expenses, treating her bridal party to a special activity or excursion, or providing a portion of the overall budget.

In order to plan a bachelorette party, it is essential to choose your decision-maker (s) and ensure that everyone is responsible for covering their own expenses, such as meals and accommodations, while also splitting the cost to cover most or all of the bride’s expenses.

  • I remember this story vividly and bridezilla is living in the twilight zone. To scam your bridesmaids and dad out of money to pay for a $7k ice swam is ridiculous. I remember looking up the price of ice sculptures and the cheapest price for small centerpieces is $95, for one sculpture it is $400 and for an 8 in ice bar it’s $2,200

  • I knew I was thinking that $7000 wasn’t gonna cover Sx, TWO Nurses AND a CHEF at a chateau by the BEACH. NO WAY. Not even the extra money from the bridesmaids felt like it was properly the right amount plus the darn ice sculpter etc since the bride said donated to other areas of the wedding. Humph! Can’t wait for the updates.

  • Each update gets crazier & crazier & we still don’t know where the effin’ money went Limo? Private chef? Edit: did she keep her AP’s wife’s earrings & just said she lost them? Did the $7k go to pay for the earrings? & why did she have the earrings? Did the AP give them to her or did she help herself to them when she was at the AP’s house? So many questions

  • What I’m wondering is did the bride’s mom know ALL of the details including the affair since she knew about the new melons? What will the bride’s father do if she did know? Will everyone get together and file a class action lawsuit against the bride since she defrauded everyone including her own father and the groom’s mother? Inquiring minds want to know.😂😂😂

  • Though I did not see the cheating coming, I’m not exactly surprised lmaooo. This story was insane from start to finish. Imagine burning your entire life and relationships to the ground because you wanted to be a bridezilla. I fear that had she never scammed her bridesmaid, this all probably wouldn’t have come to light until the brother was already tied legally to this woman. He dodged a tank.

  • Wait. Wait. Wait! So OP’s brother KNEW that his fiancée planned to have breast augmentation while at her “girl’s vacay” and DID NOT TELL HIS SISTER?! Why didn’t he suggest that THAT was where the bridesmaids’ $7K went? Did he simply accept that she was somehow having free surgery? Did he not realize that someone would need to take care of her while she heals? How could these 11 women have been expected to both pay $650 AND take care of their friend while she recovers while they were isolated (literally a flight away) from their families. AND her mother knew? WTF is this story?

  • Charlotte Dobre!!!! I love perusal her, been perusal her for probably two years now. I hope she can read and react to the updates eventually, this was an insane story. I hope OP and the brother are okay now. You’d think on Reddit you’ve seen it all, but I thought the surgery was where the money went- wasn’t expecting that affair although not surprised.

  • I’m so glad the Wedding is OFF! The last time I heard this story was OP in Update 7/8. I was so mad at OP for taking this nonchalant approach to her brother marrying this basket case of a woman! OP, your bro would’ve made the worst decision of a lifetime and if you have any semblance of love for him you’d move mountains to stop the wedding!

  • Just wow. What the heck. Some people have such ‘interesting lives’; instagram influencer, bride-to-be, affair partner of well-known plastic surgeon, thief. I am so boring. Well, since I only do this platform and FB via my PC, I’m hoping Mark follows and gives us at least a clue what the outcome(s) is/are with this whole mess.

  • I have asked myself over and over again why would the groom want to still continue this wedding with such an awful selfish, self-centered bridezilla. Well, I guess we finally have that answer now. It reminds me of another reddit wedding disaster of a latin bridezilla who slept with the groom’s uncle on the wedding day and was caught by the groom. That, too, was a disaster.

  • Okay, I can see being asked to be a BM/MOH, but they’ve GOT to know The Bridezilla beforehand, right? Why would any sane person sign up to urinate out thousands and thousands of bux for The Bridezilla’s Dream Wedding? Especially if they’re all urine-poor as they claim? Chrissakes, just bow out. “Sorry, I’d love to, but I just can’t afford it.” Done. Over. I had a cow-orker announce his “destination wedding” and how he’d love people to show up, but I just said, “Yeah, if I can afford it, I would.” I absolutely could afford it, but just didn’t want to. I just love the way these people spend other people’s money.

  • Oh dear Lord! My head is spinning! (ŏ﹏ŏ) That bridezilla is absolutely nuts! Trying to leech off of her friends and cheating on OP’s brother?! How Insanity Batman! 😨 Kudos to OP’s mom for playing detective and catching this crazy brat in the act. I’m so happy OP’s brother came to his senses and left that dumpster fire. He would’ve been in for a life of misery had he married her. 😰 OP was right. This was quite the horror story to say the least. Well, at least things worked out for OP and her family for the most part. 😅 Even though she’s probably never going to see that money again, at least she got a little vacation and her brother is free from that dumpster fire.

  • This story starts with a nice cup of tea And then, you say ”eff, the tea, where’s the dang popcorn” And then, you simply must have a glass of wine But, then it calls for beers And finally entered into the doom territory Eff the tea, popcorn, wine and beer, this is not several margaritas, or mixed cocktail type of doom, it’s drinking the hard stuff straight from the bottle type of stuff

  • This reminded me also of that weird situation, i think her name was hannah or kelly or something, of the chronic master manipulator, and faked her husbands letter about his addiction or something? I also remember something about her fighting with her best friend and younger sister. I cant remember much because it was so long ago lol, but i want an update on that

  • Can I just say that I LOVE this OP’s storytelling skills? I feel bad she had to eat $650 but at least her and the other bridesmaids made the best of it by bringing their partners, I’d probably do the same thing, but I love how she tells this story, I feel like I’m there with her and yes, lets grab that popcorn and spill that tea!

  • According to OPs insta tne wife found out about the affair because she noticed some tiffany diamond earrings missing and one day she was bringing her husband flunch at the hospital and noticed SIL wearing her missing earrings. The SIL used either her dads money or the wedding party money to pay the surgeon back $7500 for the earrings that she stole from his wife lol

  • This whole update was her talking about an update that she never actually told us. Sure, there was the affair part, but the rest was just her telling us she has so much tea “I have so much tea guys…I’m not going to tell you what it is, but I totally have so much of it.”😂😂 The legal ramifications are for real so it makes sense to keep it under wraps🤫 Hilariously, she says she’s going to explode with all the craziness that’s happened & I don’t blame her, I’m certainly invested! Anyhoo, she has a little bit more on her Insta regarding how the wife may have found out about the affair & dang, Ex-SIL’s cray-cray knows no bounds! A lot of people in the comments mentioned that they came to the Insta from Mark Narrations & apparently, she’s been banned on Reddit so her Insta may be the best place to get the story. Have a great day everyone! Signing off from New Zealand

  • So to anyone that want’s to know, I believe the identity of the plastic surgeon was accidentally leaked in one of the OP’s updates which has been edited since the last time Mark read this store 2 months ago. In that update I believe the OP said exactly how much the boob job cost and where the EX SIL got the procedure done at, and one of Marks listeners who was driving to work just happened to be going by a billboard advertisement for that exact procedure, that exact price, and at that exact facility. So if you want more info listen to when Mark read this story 2 months ago and then read the comments.

  • Between 11 bridesmaids, all of you gave her a total of $7,150 which she kept AFTER her father stepped in to pay for it??? That’s NOT a friend! UPDATES: OP, I like your mother and her attitude!!! The plastic surgery was planned well in advance. You don’t just walk into a plastic surgeons office and get surgery immediately. This was all a part of the plan. They say truth is stranger than fiction, so if this story is fiction just what is the truth??? Yeah, no-longer-SIL needs some serious therapy and given the wild ride your brother has just been on OP, so does he. What a sad person she is, the spoiled little rich girl. OP, while it may be fun to keep your ears open given how involved you are, I hope you and the other bridesmaids have gone no contact with Bridezilla. Good grief!

  • I’m keeping my shit SIMPLE I don’t CARE what anyone says. I’m having courthouse wedding and a SMALL party afterwards. I refuse to be a bridezilla or even put myself in a situation where I could end up being one. I know how I handle stress, and I’m bad at making decisions, and because I’m capable of self-reflection (apparently a rare trait) I know that if I were to have a big wedding I’d be setting myself up to fail. I won’t do it, I refuse.

  • All we have to do is figure out where OP lives and it’s gotta be close to the ocean (I’m thinking California, cause that’s where most of the plastic surgeons are). Affair partner surgeon has to be close if the bride can meet up with him regularly without hopping on a plane, cause damn that gets expensive. Then get on Airbnb to look up rentals that cost $2300/night and cross check plastic surgery clinics close by. Sleuthing to be done here! 👏🏻🤣

  • This is gonna be a f***ing Telenovela one day, mark my words. I am so glad OP’s brother decided to dodge the Meteoric Nuke of a bullet, but I feel so bad he had to go through all this drama only to find out that his Ex-Future Wife was having fun with a married man. I hope the update comes very soon and I can’t wait to know all the juicy details. I wish OP could somehow reveal the name of the surgeon so the guy can be taken down for being an ass. But I can see how she has now been taken down by legalities. At least she promised there would be more. OP, if you read this, please MAKE THE BOOK. And send me the link or whatever to be one of the first to get it. And please grab all of this posts and take them to Holliwood. The movie will break records, x3.

  • Look I know people want to feel bad for her brother, but I sure as hell don’t. He didn’t call off the wedding when he stole from his sister and the other bridesmaids, lied to him, his family, HER family, and she took no real ownership of her actions. No, he called it off when it personally affected him. Lying, stealing, and entitled? Fine, she’s just going through a lot. Cheating? Oh that’s just a line too far! 🙄 And before anyone twists this, I’m not saying he shouldn’t be hurt by her cheating or that cheating isn’t a hard line to draw. What I am saying is he was STILL going to marry after all that shit she put his and her family through, meaning he didn’t care or seem to care about how her actions were affecting everyone close to him. He only called it off when she cheated HIM out of something, which was loyalty. So no, I don’t feel bad for the brother because this woman was multiple screaming crimson red flags and he went “Hot. Ima marry that.”

  • On the “celebration” days something should ruin the makeup and especially with the hair dye in the shampoo bottle. If STBSIL has allergies well it would be a shame if some of her skin layer clothes get contaminated with the essence of such, a damn shame indeed. Wake up with cut hair and a sharpie beard and mustache. Imagine the bonding the ladies will enjoy! I’d fund every bit of it had I the opportunity.

  • I remember reading this reddit story and the last update was when Everyone found out the Bride got a boob job. And by everyone, I mean the bridesmaids all found out at the same time; the day of the wedding – which I thought was weird since the bride would more than likely have seen her other bridesmaids who were friends before then. There had been no mention of bachelorette party bringing their significant others on the trip & the bride getting the boob job on that same trip I truly believe this story is fake with these outrageous extras.

  • Someone is definitely full of herself (SIL), she’s another in a long line of “influencers” that have let their 15 minutes of fame go to their head and destroyed her’s and other’s lives, this has been a concern of mine since social media became a thing. People that have lived their entire lives involved with media have people paid to deal with their presence, however regular Jack and Jill have no idea how to deal with all this and wind up nuking their lives. Be careful what you wish for because you may just get it in spades.

  • You missed an update! Theres an exclusive update on the OPs insta. OKAY SO, you wanna know how the surgeon’s wife found out about the affair? A pair of Tiffanys earrings went missing from her jewelry box and one day when she was visiting her hisband at the hospital she sees a woman wearing her Tiffany earrings! Guess who it was? Ex-sil! She was there for a consult before her boob job months before this Saga. But the thing is, surgeon isnt stupid. HE NEVER GAVE THEM TO HER. SHE FUCKING STOLE THEM ONE FROM THE JEWELRY BOX ONE DAY. So surgeon asked for them back obvs. But for some God forsaken reason Ex sil LOST THEM. Or so she says, idk. So she offered to pay the surgeon back and what on earth could they have cost???? 7,500 dollars. Boom the missing Bridesmaids money Explained. Sorta, she actually used Daddys money for the trip to pay back the surgeon and the bridesmaid money on the trip. But po-tay-to po-ta-to

  • 1st story group text== ” oh hey everybody in the bridal party!!…. ladies soon to be father in law has agreed to pay for the airbnb so we can all have the $650 each back… i sn’t that lovely of him… Expect the money back asap ladies.. what a nice guy to generously pay… isnt that good news for each and everyone to get a refund Kisses….”” And then stand back and watch the bride…

  • Wow, the dress code theme sounds tacky as hell. This story and other wedding stories makes me question why do these weddings have to be ridiculously expensive and tacky? “My SIL is an influencer” ah, a broke loser trying to live like a billionaire. Final update (so far): Holy moly, this is a telenovela in the making.

  • I don’t like to throw this word around but screw it, SIL is trashy and every additional update proved that. I feel a bit bad for OP’s brother but he was also aware of at least some of the trashy behavior and should have shut it down. I guess your sister losing a couple thousand is better than the cost of a divorce but still.

  • I thought you were supposed to be a bridesmaid for women you actually *liked*. I have a hard time believing that OP likes this would-be sister-in-law, or ever did, with all this “glee about the tea.” She couldn’t have trusted her too much, either, or else she would have been loads more upset about losing that kind of money. I guess some people just have that kind of money to throw around, when they’re more excited about gossip than they are upset about taking that kind of financial hit–or about being betrayed by someone. Honestly, this OP comes off as being not too much less shallow than her sister in law to me–but the tone of the story is amusing, I suppose.

  • I believed in the story until an ice swan.Such things happens not only to bride(zillas) influencers who are the worst .The rest is pure and simple some wild canter of OP’s imagination.Great entertainment though. If such a scam happened to me I would enjoy my short holiday with my SO and wouldn’t sue the bride.I payed, I had fun, what’s the problem?

  • I’m starting to find the story a bit sus even if it is entertaining. OP is having problems typing out her update because it’s too long? “Famous plastic surgeon”? “Complimentary boob job”? “Oh, I can’t go in to details because I’ve got lawyers from both sides on my butt”? Yeah, there’s a whiff of bs here.

  • Omg y’all wild AF y’all upset cause y’all all upset cause y’all upset y’all ain’t get no free ride from her daddy cause she made y’all pay for your actual stay and spent that money on what she want cause HER Daddy paid for y’all’s stay shut up wanna be freeloaders, it was her wedding y’all shouldn’t get no free ride … And it’s messed up she was cheating sucks but that’s messed up y’all upset over not getting a free ride on her daddy

  • I sometimes think the more is spent on a wedding the less likely the marriage is to last. The most expensive wedding I ever attended (I estimate a half million dollars, I am not even joking), the marriage lasted 9 months. Meantime, my wedding cost less than $12,000 (we spent thoughtfully on things that were truly valuable to us, like food and a lovely venue, and saved on things like music that mattered less to us) and we’ve been married 25 years.
