Despite the fact that the show tried to put their usual spin on this couple’s experience (bride and groom want different things and irresponsible groom throws away money but somehow pulls off a wedding at the end), you can tell this groom actually has his shit together. The narrator repeating that the wedding has too many themes actually reinforces how on top of things this groom is, because all the other themes fit really well under the title “Mad Hatter Tea Party.” It’s ok to have an impressive groom. I don’t know why they have to try to make him look lost. He’s great!
FINALLY, a groom who cares about his bride! So many of these man children take this as an opportunity to spend $$ on parties abroad and expensive suits… and buy second hand dresses or costumes for the bridesmaids. He didn’t make the best decisions with his budget, but you can tell he really wants to make her happy. And MAD PROPS to that seamstress… My hopes were not high at all… that looks professional!
awww all of the hard work and effort to marry on such a pretty island I don’t care how boat sick I would get that’s a sweet gesture. normally these shows show really selfish grooms but this is a nice change to see.
