📹 Groom Wants a Star Wars Themed Wedding | Don’t Tell The Bride S2E7 | Real Love
Groom-to-be Philip Sheridan from Bunclody, Co Wexford, takes charge of organising his wedding to Mandy Brennan.
Oh my goodness, this is the BEST! The most beautiful, charming, delightful bride, the most handsome groom with a little boy who’s his mini-me, the fabulous Irish accents!!! This groom is the most organized, thoughtful, creative of all the grooms on this show. He gave his bride a beautiful wedding while still adding touches for himself. Of all the articles I’ve watched on this series, this is the BEST! Congratulations to the happy couple, and may they have a long, prosperous, happy life together.
Sweet couple. Nice mix of his & hers wants. Although the venue was not a romantic country estate, it was nice when you consider it was all inclusive. So many grooms are piecemealing their reception & working the night before/morning of to get venue set up only to have to break it down right after the reception. Venue included transportation, 5 course meal, wine, flowers, band, flowers, décor, champagne toast, a wedding coordinator & 3 rooms for the family. They don’t need to drive off, just go upstairs & go to sleep.
It really took forever to get dresses with sleeves, Kate inspired here – 4 years after I was still seeing too many older styles, it’s nice he found something she liked – I did like the ones she tried. I really prefer to see more of the thought process behind choosing all the little details like flowers, cake, invites, decor etc. rather than alot the article time to stags – or have the bride plan the stag with an allotted amount since it’s the opposite of the usual planning roles. Showers on the American dttb (and men should have barn/cabin raisings, construction parties or something that contributes to the home😅😊).
“I have let Two I’d-jits’ in a bridal shop to pick my dress” What’s with the helicopter. $1040.00 when they always run out at the end. A little left over for emergencies or a ring makes way more sense to me. Do the crew think of the worst idea for a hen party. Why do they throw them in extreme outdoor exercise, then forget the rest of the evening, thinking they would have had enough. I love the ” he wouldn’t do it, why should we?” While he is comfortable in a bar drinking. I love the detail to timing. I had a binder of what went where and the timing down in an excel spreadsheet as well. Sometimes that’s the only way to see gaps or problems. We have the Adam and gods almost touch as our “thing”. Went to Rome to see it for real. “I won’t say I do, I will say the zoo?” Lovely episode just work on the hens party. Why don’t they all go to the spa then out for dinner and drinks. The guys spend twice as much on their night for sure.
I don’t understand in this series why brides are out looking at venues & trying on wedding gowns? They aren’t making the choice nor seeing the groom to tell him. I couldn’t do this; too much responsibility for some men. The groom has no business choosing the wedding gown nor seeing it prior to the wedding.
Most of these shows are on a budget.. Yet the groom spends aa a fortune on the stag and the entrance or transport. Things where you can save money. And often there is some dangerous element. One of these shows someone is going to end up really hurt, killed or an invalid. Sky diving. jet ski. going on a dinghy whatever.
