Has Anyone Been Denied The Free Honeymoon At Sandals?

The author and their fiancé are planning their wedding honeymoon at a Sandals resort in St. Lucia three years from now. They are considering the “Bliss” wedding package, which costs $2,500 for up to 20 people and $3,400 for up to 40 people. The total vacation and wedding cost around $5000, including airfare. The author has called Sandals customer service multiple times but has not received any response.

The Sandals free honeymoon package is a wonderful perk for couples celebrating their honeymoon at one of Sandals’ luxurious resorts. For weddings occurring between January 2nd and August 31st, the 12th, 24th, and 36th rooms are free. However, there are also regular last-minute deals where the 4th night is free every week.

When arriving at Sandals in Antigua, the couple met with their wedding coordinator and filed all necessary paperwork. They had to be in Antigua for 48 hours before getting married. Sandals Grenada is rated as top-rated for first-timers, foodies, and luxury travelers.

Sandals Resorts offer everything you could ever want for honeymoon couples, including three pools, whirlpools, six restaurants, and seven bars. However, the author and their fiancé were disappointed with their stay at Sandals Royal Bahamian, which was recently renovated and offers beachfront swim-up suites with butler service, two huge pools, six whirlpools, 10 restaurants, and eight bars.

The author and their fiancé have heard great things about Sandals and that they cater to honeymoons very well. They are considering booking a free honeymoon romance experience at one of their luxurious beachfront all-inclusive adult only resorts.

Do you tip at Sandals?

We don’t do Sandals or Beaches in the Caribbean. These resorts cost more than other all-inclusive brands, but they include more in their up-front price. Sandals and Beaches want all guests to have a good experience, so they don’t allow tipping. If our clients have a great experience with staff, we ask them to provide us with their names and departments so we can thank the resort management. We also welcome great online reviews of our rockstar employees. When is tipping allowed at Sandals and Beaches? Transfer Drivers and Airport Valets: These people drive you to the resort and take your bags. They are not employees of Sandals or Beaches. You can tip them. Tip $3 for the valet. For the driver, we usually start at $5-$10 and will increase from there. Tipping depends on things like whether our driver also handles our bags, how far we are from the airport, if we are with other guests, if the driver is helpful, and so on. We tip differently for a 10-minute drive from Sangster Airport to Sandals Montego Bay than we do for a private 90-minute transfer from Havelock Airport to the Sandals resorts in St. Lucia.

Golf Caddies: Caddies are mandatory at Sandals golf resorts. The caddies are great. They’re like having your own golf pro. Tipping them like you would your favorite caddie at your favorite course is a good idea.

  • Heard many times about the camouflage issue. We all carried military camo backpacks and had no issue. Being an Air Force Veteran and accompanied by a Marine, nobody said a word. The people were extremely friendly and helpful. It was nice that everyone spoke English and that everywhere accepted American currency and credit cards. Would love to visit again someday.

  • Ok so the only thing I don’t agree with is friday night at oistins. Do go to oistins for the fish but go any day but friday night. Its open all week. We waited in line for two hours for food and then had to stand to eat because there was nowhere to sit. The taxi driver told us come back any day of the week to avoid the crowd. Who cares they have music, you’re there for the fish.

  • In July went to Barbados with some of my family. My nephew planned out our days. Did a tour of the island the taxi driver we had was the best. He took us along a road where it was magnetic. That was an experience. For all the years I visited Barbados, did many things on this trip never did before. Hopefully to visit again. “Beautiful Barbados.”

  • Read the fine print on your car rental agreement well before you arrive on Barbados. One company at the airport will force you to buy a useless COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER even though your credit card covers it. You must produce an email or letter from your insuring company (Credit card) with your name on it and the amount it will cover in case of an accident. A downloaded copy of it is not enough.

  • All people are welcome even gay folk, but just don’t b kissing etc in public it’s just uncomfortable, most things are easy going, slow pace,it’s expensive thts for sure.night life is ok but the same thing all over,I recommend you visit not live,I live here and was born here but I travel pretty often, enjoy whn u come

  • The water may not be safe all over the island. A few years ago, the US Embassy put out a study on water collected at south coast residences of US staff, citing bacteria in the water. The Barbados government denied this, but didn’t offer studies to counter the US study. I bring a UV water cleaning bottle with me to Barbados and run all my drinking/cooking water through a filter that will also filter out bacteria. The water is also high in nitrogen, thanks to farm fertilizer run off—I’ve heard this directly from local biologists who say the government silences this information. So, if you have health concerns or want a stress-free vacation, filter and bring a UV water cleaner with you.
