He graduated in 1967 but felt so alienated that he skipped his graduation ceremony. He briefly attended Ocean County College but dropped out. When he was 19, he was drafted but failed the physical exam and avoided service in the Vietnam War because of a concussion he suffered in a motorcycle accident and his behavior at induction. Can’t nobody sing like that unless the Holy Ghost steps in and God takes over that voice. I played this song ten times and just went into worship. if I ever get married again. my husband of 32 years went on home 15 years ago to be with the Lord. but if I ever get married again and I’ll soon be 70, I want a Holy Ghost wedding that will make people feel God, just like this. He’s Real!
It’s 2023 and I am still listening. It hurt to find out that Paula and Taleshia both passed away last year. I will continue to post this article ever so often on my FB page as I am doing again today in hopes that the person who hears it will be touched in their spirit and if they dont know the True Living God that they will be drawn unto him. God has his plans and surely we are not here to stay forever. Rest In Peace Paula and Taleshia. Love and prayers to their families.
It is an absolute tragedy what has happened to Taleshia and her family. To see how happy she and her husband were during their wedding, only to learn that she recently died on August 3, 2022 after a long bout with cancer was heartbreaking. If that wasn’t tragic enough, this was a cancer that was misdiagnosed after multiple opportunities. I don’t know this woman or her family, but I feel that I’ve lost someone in my life after perusal this article and learning the story. Thank you for sharing your special day with the world and Taleshia, may you Rest In Peace.

OMG! I’m an opera singer with years of grueling classical training, and let me tell you, that lady is first rate singer of the highest class! My God, if she were classically trained she’d bring down the house at the Metropolitan Opera! What natural, RAW talent! I tell you, I was MOVED beyond tears! She displayed real, in-born musicianship, amazing vocal control and an instinct far beyond that what many of us classically trained singers possess. The nerves all over my body are still twitching…I’m speechless!
I’m still listening… her voice is sent by god! I have listen to her sing this song at this wedding about 25 times and I don’t know any of these people. What a gift from god. Bless her! I first saw this about a year ago and it popped up again today! Lord is still blessing all of us with her gift of song!
Even though I’ve learned that both the soloist and the bride are now deceased, this still remains the most powerful rendition of “Great is the Faithfulness” I have ever heard in my life. May the memory of this day live many years beyond those who were honored to be present at this wedding! And may the children of the bride and groom, who are now adults, ever cherish this day.
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this… but I cry almost EVERY time. The spirit is ushered IN! I know it took EVERYTHING for the people in there to retain the composure they had… this is what you call A VOCALIST… she’s so much more than a singer. She’s got the oil (as the old school people say). GOD Bless her because this blessed me! 9/7/19
My Lord, Great Creator of all things. Thank you 🙏🏾 for creating the young woman who sung this beautiful song. I believe she is now singing it the higher kingdom amongst all of the Angels. I will never forget that there’s a time and a season for EVERYTHING and that Your Will, will be done. Rest In Heavenly Paradise, Sweethearts!! Hallelujah, Amen 🙏🏾 ❤❤
I love how from the grooms to some of his groomsmen, when they first hear her start singing, all of them are trying to figure out who is that singing? Then, I love how when that annointed voice hits those high notes they feel God’s presence and have to move. YOU CANNOT BE STILL WHEN THE HOLY GHOST SHOWS UP!!!
Probably my favorite hymn of all time! I especially love the line: “Thou changest not, thy compassions they fail not; as Thou hast been Thou forever will be!” Everything we have here is temporal and all will change, dry up, grow old and die. But my God, who never changes, and His mercies never waiver, will one day make all things new! And all things will once again glorify His name. The only One who deserves all the glory forever and ever! Thank you, Jesus for dying for me! And because you never change, I know that I can trust all your promises toward me and toward all your people. Even, so. Come Lord Jesus! Your church awaits You, King of kings and Lord of lords. #AMagnificentPraise

I still listen to this all the time for at least the last 5 years. The words are so true and powerful, and she made them come to life. Plus I’ve never seen somebody trying so hard not to shout in my life as the lady in front of her, and I couldn’t have been the one behind her either. None of them because somebody would got beat with flowers on that last new mercies🤣

I am just now hearing about the deaths of these wonderful women of God. 😢 My heart is broken. Didn’t know them, I simply was drawn by this article. I watched their Homegoing services all day yesterday. May the Holy Spirit rest upon their families and hold and comfort them as only he can. May they sleep on in the arms of Jesus tonight. I look forward to seeing them again at that great coronation that’s going to be held in the middle of the air!!!

My husband and I were highschool sweethearts. This year will make 4 years of marriage. At the age of 24, let me just say without God as the center of our marrige we wouldnt have made it. I thank God for how faithful, merciful, loving, patient, and kind he is!. To God Be ALL the glory. Without him we can do nothing! Last year around this time we were on the verge of divorce and were seperated. Meanwhile we found out I was pregnant with our first baby after trying for 2 years. It was bittersweet the thought of a child but then again we had an issue that wasnt resolved. We ended up miscarrying and that really hurt! But in the midst of it all. God stepped in our mess and things were unfolded before our eyes he revealed things he uprooted the disaster. And we got spiritual deliverance. Now the two of us are on the move to destroy the works of the devil. To all the married couples I say never compromise. The enemy hates marriage and he will throw anything in yours to destroy it. I say FIGHT for whats yours and God with his faithful self will go before you in the battle!! I dont know who this is for. But God is not done with your marriage yet always remain prayerful amd open minded. I love you brother and sister in christ!
I’m still here in 2022!!! THE ANOINTING IN HER (PAULA’S) VOICE AND THE WAY SHE SANG THIS SONG HAD TO HAVE BEEN BACKED UP BY THE HEAVENS HOLY ANGELS!!! As many times I’ve heard different versions of this song, I HAVE NEVER HEARD IT SANG LIKE THIS!!! SO POWERFUL WITH SOOOO MUCH ANOINTING WITH “NO FLESH”AND ENTERTAINMENT!!! JUST JESUS!!! I LOVE IT!!! I LOVED SEEING MY BROTHERS IN CHRIST INCLUDING THE GROOM PRAISING THE LORD!!! THANK YOU LORD JESUS!!!🤗💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝😇
Had me in tears. The Most High shows fractions of his glory through the gifts of song that he blessed those of the tribe of Judah with. Even those gifts break us down and open us up and they are a just a FRACTION of his glory. “Every little thing I have needed, thy hand has provided.” That’s speaking to my soul. I was just another abused kid in the foster system, yet the Most High reached way down to the bottom of society and supplied my needs then, and now, and forevermore. All glory, honor, and praise to the Most High. Shalawam Israel!
Listening, still, in 2023! I’ve been listening to this over the years, posted it on Facebook, and the Holy Spirit just comes through every time. Continued blessings to this couple and the anointed singer! And thank you for sharing. You have no idea how many souls are Blessed from this! How much joy it brings to the hearts of many. Amen!
It saddens me to hear of both the bride and the soloist passing away from cancer. At the same time, I just can’t help but admire the magnitude of the impact of their continuous blessings. Those women were chosen to bless us random souls on a daily basis. Lord knows, they most certainly understood the assignment. I thank God for sharing them with us. I’m sure they’re resting in peace. ❤
