📹 KPIX Meteorologist Mary Lee Gets Surprise Valentine’s Day Marriage Proposal
KPIX Meteorologist Mary Lee got the surprise of her life while recording a Monday weather segment: a Valentine’s Day proposal …
I love this. I’m 39 and I have been through a few failed relationships and I still have hope that this will happen for me one day. I have unfortunately gone through an abusive relationship but I have come out the other side of that and I met somebody just tonight that I think shows a lot of promise. We have a ton in common in our backgrounds are very similar. He also seems to be very empathetic and very sweet and I’m just excited to see where it goes. I know I have a lot to offer the right person and this just warmed my heart to see especially because his girls who aren’t even hers love her. It’s so cool that everybody seem to be in on it. I thought it was funny to her she was like I thought it was never going to happen lol. Like she’s been waiting for him to do it. My heart. This just made me so happy to see today.
Best wishing on a long not your wedding. May God be with you on yuour special day as you profess your live and commitment to each other. It was specially touching when his daughters gave you a rose, a token of their love, respect and acceptance having you become their mother. Y our future husband’s proposal was simply besatiful from his chose of words to the passion and hope in his voice!
I didn’t hear her say yes. Proposals are beautiful, wonderful and all that good stuff. However…. I don’t think public ones are a good idea. What if she’s not sure yet? What if she needs a little more time to get to know him? What if she was thinking that the relationship is not working out and she was trying to figure out a nice way to let him know this? If they’ve already discussed getting married, they both agree and perhaps he was just preparing for the right time to give her an engagement ring, then okie dokie. Anyway, to each his own. I just feel that public proposals can lead to someone getting their feelings hurt.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 KJV\r 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,\r \r 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;\r \r 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;\r \r 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.\r \r 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
I don’t think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn’t real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. \r \r In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings’ family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. For the reality of romance is no Disney love story. \r \r \r Parents and siblings’ family love is one of the strongest types of love there is. If romantic love is actually real, it would be one of the weakest types of love there is.
