unfortunately there is not enough people like elon in the world anymore. someone is trying to stop 🛑 that from happening. he’s innovative. he’s a visionary. and his heart ♥ seems to be 🛸 in the right place. I’m glad he’s having a lot of 🧒 kids. hopefully more innovative visionaries will come out of it. just my opinion 🙏
After hearing what she had to say she seems like a genuinely nice person. He certainly is a visionary and people like him are not understood by most, especially at a young age. Kids can be cruel. She understands him and it’s so refreshing to hear her say positive things about him, and her affection for him still is readily apparent in her voice. I was the tall, sporty blonde who took a briefcase to school in the 8th grade…and was definitely made fun of, to the point that I stopped taking it. Since then I learned to stay true to who I am and to heck with the rest of negative people. Thanks, great interview.
She probably understands him so well because some of her kids are just like him. That probably makes her love Elon more. My husband is an intellect and one of my boys is just like him. Conflicted, misunderstood, frustrated a lot, unable to communicate as he wants to, but a genius blooming every day into the young man I know he’ll be some day. My son will be someone important and I can’t wait to see what he becomes! I wouldn’t want him to be any other way.

She loves him. She cares deeply about him. She respects him. She knows him. She understands him. She honors him. She is his ex-wife. All connections last forever, on some level. She is beautiful. Her connection to him was love and that persists. That is both what I see in this TED talk and what I feel in my heart for literally all of the people in my life who I have had the opportunity and blessing to get to know. What a lovely expression of this! (why the crazy unattractive angry pictures which accompany this Ted talk?)
I was blessed to work with many “genius”, level aerospace engineers inside of an LA based company. They are truly a breed all their own, I knew none that I would call awkward, I knew their brains seemingly never stopped problem solving. They were brilliance personified and when they came to a more “normal” playful place, were full of heart and soul. I do not know Elon, but I do know his brilliance as it is so blatantly obvious. I’m honored, as I was in my work to be living in a time where there is such brilliance and it’s celebrated instead of squelched, as it was with Tesla.
He may be called a genius and visionary but he has his flaws too as a person which is in all news portal but this lady is a real gem. Her love for the person goes beyond his flaws may be that’s wht we all seek in our partner. And having no bitterness or bickering for him after seperation tells more of her.
Excellent presentation. I’ve been studying Elon Musk. And I advise anyone with a dream or a goal to study him. He seems to be without obstacles blocking the way. Many of us have potential for greatness, but we envision obstacles in our way, be it fear, disbelief or think it is for someone else. I’ve noticed when Elon is asked a question, he is slow to respond. That is a lesson for us as we ask ourselves a question; can I do that, should I do that, would I do that, will I do that?
I’m an engineer and entrepreneur… and a writer. I became aware of Justine long before I noticed Elon. Some of the best writing advice I’ve ever had came from her blogs and Twitter postings and random YouTube posts. I consider her equally as brilliant as Elon… on a bad day, just in a different area.
Simply..Nice. incredible words to an ex. No one understood this. That I didn’t harsh on him. (I have never understood how people do harsh on the ex..ESPECIALLY when we created a child ❤️ together) I was that way with my ex, then he died…but our son witnessed it his whole life, and is very glad for it.
He is one of the most loved men on the planet for all the right reasons. I don’t think anyone would want to be Elon Musk, but most of all I don’t think anyone else on the planet could have achieved what he has and will achieve in one lifetime. Truly out of the ordinary with zero greed, but only the biggest heart to help humanities present and future.
The ironic thing is while he is still working towards his goal of expanding our odds of survival, we still have people that are throwing cans at him. The cans have gotten bigger and he has as close to no ego as one can have. It says alot about humanity that we cannot overcome our greed and jealousy to support each other. If his ex can, maybe some should reconsider their stance.
I believe that she still loves him. Elon made a mistake to leave this brilliant woman. Someday as he grows older he will know that his one true love was the mother of his children. He blinded m his riches, fame. He can get any woman who will only love him for his money and fame. But his exwife loved him dearly.
I would like to listen to my ex-wife talking about me like she talks about him (she knows him). Since I was a kid, I’m a dreamer and a visionary, too, but not many people understand me and accept me as I am, I’m so turbulent, and people don’t like uncertainty. About the gifts and coffee, oh Man, they don’t know the effort that we have to do to be early or remember the dates. (in my case, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Bipolar Disorder, all linked with science and technology, that is why I get alone sometimes 😞😞)
My dad was a scientist at the top of his field at a prestigious university. The people that came over to dinner or whose house we went to for dinner were mostly top scientists as well. As a kid I saw the same quality in scientists that Justine sees in engineers, a click type of cohort that no one else understands what they talk about, a foreign language, awkward in public and in dress, at ease and unfiltered only amongst their own. Like engineers, none of us would be where we are today or have what we possess without the work that scientist do, what they discover and what they learn.
We are so fortunate to live during the same time as one of the greatest men (minds) in history. Is like living during the Renaissance and being able to watch the doings of great men like Leonardo DaVinci or Galilleo Gallilei. Elon is becoming, during our lives, in one of the most important persons in the history of humanity. Friggin awesome!
The Darkness lady… it’s the love sometimes some people’s trying to understanding. It’s like makes war to the entire world and counter nobody’s in the same time. And counter yourself and against counter nobody’s in the same time. The first men that dreamed to create and do fly a airplane…was internated in psychiatry, everybody’s was also thinking he was crazy… but it fly.
I love this. Elon is a subject of intense fascination, thus of both love and loathing. I’m and engineer and a businessman, a geek but sort of a cool geek, so of course I get him and admire him. Elon Musk is changing the world in ways no one we’ve seen in our lifetimes has done. Read the unauthorized biography… amazing person, unique… we are all fortunate to have him in our lives, whether we want him or not.
This engineer is a blast to watch and read about. His “earthiness” and brashness with challenging the status quo…instead of jumping from bandwagon to bandwagon…is the mark of a common sense layered..well raised dynamo! If anyone in his “league” deserves the seat at the head of the table….it would be this respected engineer….no doubt!
Maybe ome cant look inward and outward at the same time. If Elon could apply his engineering skills to his inner world, he could marry creativity with peace and healing. I find it funny the need to romanticize darkness when it’s simply unhealed childhood trauma..Now maybe he would.have focused less on article games if he wasn’t bullied, but maybe he would. This said, her biew of elon is full of love, compassion and respect amd thats beautiful.
