Young Big mom just seems like a different person in general, not because of her appearance and physique, but her personality. Young Big Mom was portrayed as a strong woman who looks after others as if she’s the big sister of the crew, where as kid big mom and old big mom just has a really psychotic and scary trait.
I really love what they did with King and Kaido and their past, that you really get that feel of them also being a crew, that went through the same things the Strawhats did on their way to the top. You could make another one piece from the perspective of Kaido, and thats so cool, hes not just some random bad guy end of the dungeon boss that runs some nefarious organization.
It’s funny how child LinLin is closer to her current self than adult LinLin, like seeing Big Mom like that shocked me, because I was surprised Oda drew her like that, even her face looks different! I even question if she even had the same eating habits and hunger pains as her child and old grandma self.
If Luffy beats Kaido there isnt anyone in the anime that can beat him. He is fighting toe to toe with a giant several times larger stronger and more experienced. These pirates worked for decades to get where theyre at to be defeated by kids lol. Keeping it real Luffy is taking a bat the size of a mountain to the face for the last 30 episodes. Its safe to say Luffy is immortal.
I finally understood how advanced conqueror coating works and why big mom did not use it against Law and Kid. Advanced conqueror works like an amplifier. It amplifies the damage output of a normal attack greatly. Hitting an enemy with advanced conqueor coating alone will not cut it. For example, if Big mom did a simple punch against kid and law (with advanced conqueror haki), it will not work because a simple punch has a low damage output (even if it is from big mom). However, if Big mom used a Marma Raid (Napoleon plus hela) infused with advanced conqueror haki, that shit would have reached the level of White Star gun and one shot both kid and law. But big mom did not do it because she did not know how to infuse it with her special attacks. This also means that advanced conqueror haki coating requires special training (kaido words to luffy on how he lacked experience) and a high level of sophistry that Big mom was incapable of.
