  • Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety, smoking, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not, in a couple of years they’ll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.

  • I get anxiety now in my older age whenever I smoke sativas. I used to smoke a lot of sativa when I was younger and no anxiety. Even a strong indica can give me anxiety. But Blueberry muffin strain doesn’t seem to affect me with anxiety. I probably need to build a better tolerance. I was a severe alcoholic and I now have stage 4 cirrhosis. I find cannabis helps me with sleep and appetite which both are affected by cirrhosis. My doctor says that my health is remarkable given the damage to my liver. I started getting better after I started growing cannabis and garden vegetables. It’s good for my head. I thank the Lord for giving us every seed bearing fruit for food and medicine. Thank you @Cannabis Experts for your articles.

  • Love every single breed mentioned in the energized and euphoric categories (have Sour D vape and Yellow Fruit Stripes flower right now), and sometimes move as far towards relaxed as GSC. I’m amazed Gorilla Glue #4 didn’t get at least honorable mention in the relaxed/sleepy categories. That and Tahoe OG knocks me on my ass in a half hour or less.

  • In my late teens & 20s my friends and I would do shrooms, Isd, and ecstasy occasionally. Good times! All were positive, fun, spiritual experiences. But, it’s been decades. I don’t know anyone who knows anyone who can get psychedelics from. I live in LA & there’s a Kush store three blocks from my house, but I can’t function alone on weed. I wish they sold psilocybin gummies. I’m a little depressed & a little anxious on a regular basis. I’m not a big drinker and I hate taking pills. A bite or two of a chocolate bar, or a cup of mushroom tea everyday would be a godsent for me.

  • My current favorite strain is Amnesia Auto from Seedsman. I’ve grown it many times and the quality is always consistent. It gives an uplifting, euphoric high that is perfect for chilling with friends or playing article games. Great for both day and night time smoke. It’s so good! My favorite dispensary weed at the moment is Cereal Milk. I will have to give some of the strains in this article a try!

  • i currently have a strain of pineapple express. as the breeders describe it: ~15% thc, and ~3-5% cbd. its great. all over relaxation, not concentrated in the head or elsewhere like some others. purple punch is also on my list of strains to grow sooner or later. after i finish this strawberry cheesecake im about to grow.

  • Energizing usually comes with euphoria wich I would also call uplifting. (Not being english native) Thats my most beloved cannabis induced feeling for the early evenings maybe weekend day. After that in the later evening let it be stronger and have something more psychedelic / daydreamy without being sleep inducing. The fruitier the better or spicy and sour. Early: Hawaii x Maui Wowie, Strawberry Haze,Tangie, Zkittlez (said to be indica but really energizing for me) Later: Wild Thailand, Chocolope, Silver Haze, Strawberry Banana Sometimes I want to feel real hammered / stoned I’d go for a classic white widow or a cheese/skunk or a bruce banner (dont like its taste though) Like to have a strong sleepy indica around if a bad day needs to be deep 6’ed.

  • Trainwreck (for me) is a very clear headed, focused, non-anxiety inducing sativa that is good for getting work done. Its very similar to Power Plant, a sativa strain ive not seen in my state yet. Jack Herer and Durban Poison are pretty good too, though ive found DP to sometimes make me anxious. Ive tried dozens of indicas and blackberry kush, grape pie, ogkb, do si do to be among the best for little to no head high and heavy body high leading into sleep ymmv.

  • Blue Dream is my go to when the house needs to be cleaned !! Put on some good music and the Dream makes it possible to do for Me and my pain……without an overwhelming sativa feel, ❤ ( just my experience on my journey, It amazes me all there is to really know !! Terpenes and THC to CBD ratio are really game changers, then you begin to understand the “entourage effect” If some strains give you a bit of anxiety, (which seems a common comment among my fellow Gen-X’rs ) don’t give up on smoking, it’s just a bit more scientific to get that feeling you loved 💕

  • Got some sour diesel on the black market about 7 years ago. Kept me lifted about 7-8 hours. It put me in another world. Smelled like sweet tarts. It was just a exceptional cultivar. I been smoking and growing for 30 years and have visited dispensaries many times but nothing has come close to whatever I had in that ounce of sour diesel. Currently LA Kush is the best flower in my medicine cabinet

  • Oh gosh, I have a lot of favorite strains. My preference is Sativa if I wanna get things done and be energetic. Hybrids all the time when I have a stressful day. I rarely take Indicas because they tend to mess me up, but sometimes I do if I want to get some powerful sleep. Below is a list of favorites plus my MOST favorite. Sativa: – Jack Herer – Super Sour Diesel – Lemonheadz – Green Cush (a. k. a. “Green Crack”) -Durban Poison Hybrid: – OG Kush – Anslinger’s Demise (a. k. a. “Anslinger’s Nightmare”) – GSC (a cross between OG Kush and Durban Poison, plus my MOST faovorite!) – Strawberry Milkshake – Blue Widow – Agent Orange Indica: – Purple Punch – Mendo Purps – Ice Cream Cake

  • I bought some GMO (hybrid) the other day at the dispensary with 36.23% THC and 38.41% TAC. Excellent taste and smell, nice layed back buzz, and it releives some of my leg pain too. Also known as Garlic Cookies, it’s a potent hybrid strain that’s grown by mixing Girl Scout Cookies and Chemdawg strains.

  • Blue Dream. I just found it a few weeks ago and now got my hands on 28g. I want to try the live resin. Mimosa is my go to for my military PTSD but blue dream is amazing for article games. If I can find a in between that would be perfect. Still looking for a good strain with THC-A live resin for my pain. Although blue dream makes me so happy I forget about my pain, lol. I hate being judged for wanting to feel anything other than fear that turns into anger in a heart beat, so happy there are websites like yours that I can learn and be open about my usage.

  • My recent grow had Jack Herer and Purple Punch in it. Purple Punch …. yes, definitely energizing. You feel high in your head, while your body feels clear and functional. Jack Herer on the other hand…. that one hits you hard and fast. While I could feel the energy from it, he also has allot going on in the euphoric range. So you’re high and alert at the same time. Both strains have dense and frosty buds. Purple Punch, she likes to spread her branches and take up space. She gets really colorful near harvest time. If we could post pics I would show you.

  • I can’t seem to understand why weed affects me the way it does now. I’ve always smoked on and off, smoked quite a bit through my 20’s….i’m 36 now…..and In the past few years i’ve had a few full blown, what i can only describe as, panic attacks after smoking. The crazy thing is, It seems almost like a physical symptom rather than it being a mental “paranoia” type thing. I feel my neck getting tight and then my heart starts beating like crazy and i can’t relax. This will happen when i’m doing nothing, just sitting perusal a movie or whatever, even happened to both my buddy and I while we were chilling, smoking a joint like we’ve always done. I guess your body/mind just changes as you get older, but damn, I can only smoke strains that are weaker 15-18 percent thc and weed that has a CBD content 2-5 percent usually helps as well.

  • my top 10 strains ….(random order) 1. GG4 by Cresco (I) 2. G-Purps by Verano (I) 3. Tangie-Dos by Bonzai (H) 4. Ice Cream Cake by Cresco (I) 5. Lemon Bean by Cresco (S) 6. MAC-1 by Grassroots (H) 7. Cookie Face by Rythm (I) 8. Cherry Gorilla by Verano (I) 9. Cookie Face by Rythm (I) 10. L.A Wedding Pop by Cresco (H) These are a few of the strains i enjoy. I used to be a heavy smoker, but in the past few years ive cut back. I smoke about an oz and a half a week. I smoke for several reasons. Pain, anxiety and I’m a social smoker. Green brings people together.

  • I still running my orange cookies since 2015 stock, if I pull it at the 6 to 7 weeks I get pure 🍊 the longer I let it grow the more minty/ earth it gets….also growing kush cake…love how they took the best of each of the spectrum an mended them….tasty herb, where ever you store your herb you will not cover up the smell…..

  • I crossed a select male mr. nice seeds super silver widow with blueberry muffins female a few years ago. The blueberry muffin cut came from the emerald cup in Santa Rosa 2017. The male was from a mr. nice seeds limited edition I won on their auction site. I grow a few out every year. So far I yet to find a less than stellar pheno. Some are very heady almost psychedelic. Others are very very euphoric. Tastes range from fruity to spicy/hashy. Got lots of seeds. Anybody interested?

  • Has anyone ever heard of or tried, Blue Magoo? Do not know what kind it was. It came in a can. Im 58, and we didnt have weed 1/2 as good as what we got now! Oz’s were $40. Sounds great right? NO, it was brown and full of seeds and twigs. We got clean weed today! Well, that little can Blue Magoo, was one of the best Ive ever had. I saw it once, and it never came around again. This was 7yrs ago or so. I thought maybe they changed the name, and if anyone on here knows what Im talking about. So Thanks for your in-put!

  • You’d be doing a great public service for those of us in “prohibition” states by going through offerings from the likes of 3chi, Binoid and Delta Extrax and trying to make sense of them. Those are the hemp-derived things like Delta 8 that are said to be maybe 65% as strong. Now you’ve got a dizzing array of varieties (THC-P, THC-H, THC-O, Delta 10, Delta 6, HHC-P, proprietary blend, etc.) all in sativa, hybrid and indica. I’ve found less to differentiate the offerings than might be expected, but Delta Extrax has a Purple Berry edible with a proprietary formula that really packed a punch, while the HHCs are lower-flyers but sometimes that might be a good thing. The body stones on the indicas especially can be really powerful and lingering, especially on a “weekender” with maybe 25g of edible plus some vape puffs to fine-tune it…got to get the full 8 sleep hours after that.

  • Been smoking since I was 13. I’m 55 now. My favorite, hands down bar none, is a creeper. Almost pure sativa, no bag appeal, looks like someone dried out some lawn clippings, low taste. At first you think you got ripped off. Been smoking it for 15 minutes, nothing. Right before you get pissed, throw the bag away and look for the guy who sold you this garbage and shank him you start to feel it behind the eyes. Waves of pure electricity start from your neck, rolling over to your forehead, leaving you gasping for reality. Long lasting, just feeling like the fingers of God are massaging your scalp under the hairline. Haven’t seen this in a couple decades when we would get Panama Red and Columbian Gold in Florida. If you ever had it, you would know.

  • Top Ten 1.) Sour Diesel (hard to find the real deal good stuff that really smacks your lips) 2.) Miami Crippy (Some claim it’s “Florida OG) 3.) Ak47 4.) Jack Herer 5.) Super Silver Haze 6.) Blue Cheese (I’ve had some better than others, but have never had bad blue Cheese) 7.) Bubba Kush 8.) trainwreck 9.) Northern Lights 10.) Columbian Gold White Widow, White Rhino, OG Kush, Headband, Triple X, Afghan Kush, Queen Haze, NYC Diesel, Lemon Skunk, Strawberry Cough, casey jones, Master Kush are all good but would choose any of my favorites over any of them easily. The most over rated strains: GIRL SCOUT COOKIES (won’t even touch anything that was bred with it), wedding cake, Blue Dream, Green Crack, Mango Kush, Gelato, platinum kush, Runtz, purple strains (with the exceptions of Grandaddy Purple, Purple Diesel and maybe Sweet Purple) = worse than nothing at all.

  • I have a doubt guys pls someone clear it for me,im a regular smoker n i ever smoked any powerfull finest weed but i used to smoke alot of med-low quality weed but after i moved to another place i was not able to smoke good or weed and it was so expenisve .Fortunately i got a contact of a dude who grow his own weed and sellin .first when i smoked i didnt even get high the taste the freshness everything was good but no high after months of smoking fresh ganja i started to enjoy the mild 40mins.now i only smoke the fresh ganja .so is it safe to smoke homegrown ganja that looks most like grass ?

  • Gorilla glue #4 is, for me, the best feeling, best tasting and most pain relieving substance on earth! I am so productive, creative, pain there but forgotten and in turn happy and fun to be around. Unfortunately in the last three years it has been very very difficult to find any or any that’s decent. It’s all about commercialism and flavors and cute packaging it seems. I wish I had a silo filled with gorilla glue #4!

  • MY TOP 10 PERSONAL FAVORITES (In no particular order): Godfather OG, Platinum Girl Scout Cookies, Pineapple Haze, Granddaddy Purple, Lemon Tree, Jet Fuel, Jack Herer, Alaskan Ice, Afghan kush, and Skittles (HONORABLE MENTION: Raspberry Kush, Cherry Pie, Sour Apple, Super Skunk, Super Lemon Haze, Durban Poison, Death Star, Trainwreck, Headband, and Strawberry Cough)

  • First time I smoked lemon kush!!!! I was super blazed!! I have a food allergy to nickel so I’m allergic to pretty much all food and it’s very painful. It made me have my kidneys shut down over 20+ times in my life with 15 kidney surgeries they were unnecessary and all I needed was Benadryl. So now I’m cut up like a fucking fish and so many scars. But anyways what cannabis does for me is that it helps me eat the shitty food I have to make and it make my kidneys not feel swollen as it’s a very food anti inflammatory.

  • Boy are they different. I was a novice then i started experimenting and paying attention purely for science…mostly for science. Terpenes matter content matter what you have wrong with you matters. Some im able to function with great focus. Then the same strain at certain levels in your system can change the effects completely. Ie super sour diesel at small moderate levels im uolifted higher levels pure stoned lol not sleepy per se though could easily ease off to sleep if i wanted. But yeah stoned for sure. I use to prefer sleepy then stoned now uplifted i have shit to do lol.

  • Dude I’ve been smoking for 10 years, there’s not that big of a difference. They all make you relaxed they all make you hungry they all make you sleep. It just depends on the day been smoking on the same strain for 3 weeks sometimes I go to bed sometimes I get hungry sometimes I’m energized. What changes is the taste the smell and what it looks like for the most part. Some are more potent than others but they all get you high

  • Green Crack is nothing more than the original Skunk. And it is PURE ENERGY WITH A HELLUVA BRAIN FRY. And my favorite since 1982. I was 12 when I started and this was the very first strain I tried. If you’re gonna go go all out I always say. And I don’t give a shit what your chemicals say Grandaddy Purple does not put me to sleep. But anything with the name kush or haze on the end will turn your fucking lights off….
