How To Decorate For A Brid?

Bridal shower decor can be a daunting task, but it can be done with the help of wedding professionals. Here are some tips to create a unique and creative bridal shower decor:

1. Clean the birdcage thoroughly before decorating. Use rainbow fabric, daisy garlands, wooden dowels, plastic tumblers, plaster of paris, and pipe cleaners.

2. Layout 3-4 ft of tulle on the floor and bring it up until it reaches the back of the chair. Tie tulle around the legs of the chair with the floral wire. Gather silk flowers and place them along the back of the chair.

3. Paint the gourd with vibrant colors using acrylic paints or paint pens. Use food-safe coloring spray or dusting powder to create a unique marble look for the gourd.

4. Secure a stencil onto the surface of your cake using masking tape or icing. Apply food-safe coloring spray or dusting powder over the stencil, leaving a gorgeous bird pattern that adds elegance and charm.

5. Hang a bird garland to display spring sentiments. Craft birds out of thin cardboard and paint them. Glue letters on each bird to say Happy.

6. DIY how to decorate a wine glass using glitter and bling! Fancy and fun.

7. Use sponges and varying shades of green paint to dapple your birdhouse in leaf camouflage. For a unique vignette, use your favorite home decor items.

  • I love everything that you made over today! Incredibly creative! I live in Canada and Dixie Bell paint isn’t sold where I live…and the closest Hobby Lobby is about 3 1/2 – 4 hours away… I do like your favourite colour, Butter Cream, that you frequently use, it’s a lovely colour for everything… And I deeply appreciated the music hymns that were playing… May Almighty God bless you SO much this year! Please stay Real Close to God! ❤

  • Oh Lisa! All of the bird house projects are amazing! The mechanics light got me, tears are now flowing. I love it soooo much, I loss my father at the tender age of 7 (54 years ago) and he was a mechanic, so we always had one of those lights hanging around. I wish I was closer to you sweet shop as I would be in there picking up that piece as it speaks to me with all the feels. Thank you for sharing you talents with us all, I’ve been a quite watcher for some time and enjoy all your projects. Oh, and love the piano music in the background, it lovely!!!

  • Lisa, these are all beautiful, as usual. You always do such beautiful items. What a great way to use one of the mechanics lights. I think I’ll be asking my ex husband if he has a couple of these laying around in his shed. He always used to so I’m hoping. It turned out awesome. I never would have thought to use them for something like this, my imagination obviously isn’t as good as yours. Thank you for sharing with all of us and for the great inspiration that you give us all. Have a great week. Looking forward to your next article Lisa.

  • Hi Lisa I paused the article so I could tell you that you can get the same colours in distress INK ink will not wash off, also you can buy reinker for the stain., My gosh I would snap that birdhouse up lickerty slit . I think I may have some of the mechanics lights, I just Love what you did to them, they will come from Dads workshop. I adore the music in the background your friend is very talented.

  • This was so timely!! I have 4 birdhouses my husband had built for my Mom probably 10 years ago and after she passed I kept those and I’ve been overhauling them! My decopauge doesn’t look nearly as pretty as yours, I think I tried to do to big of a napkin and didn’t tear it into smaller pieces. But they definitely look well loved!!! I so love your articles and your friends music!!!❤
