📹 Choosing My Vegas Wedding Dress! | Bridal Mini Dress Try On Haul
I can’t believe that the day has finally come that i am trying on my wedding dress. i’m getting married in vegas so these are no …
In the interests of market research I’m an older viewer @ 51 but have a daughter 17 year about to go into year 13 and a son 15, and I also work 3 days a week. I initially found you for budget beauty but like you am definitely buying less and trying to use up my stash. I like many find your honesty and tell it like it is style very relatable. My favourite articles are probably shopping ones (it’s like going shopping with a friend) and try-ons, although I enjoy the general chats too. For me I don’t tend to watch lives due to the length and timings, I’m also not into the manifesting stuff but respect there are plenty of viewers that are. Variety is the spice of life as they say. ❤️
I’m 36, no kids. First found you when you had your Budget Bride website, while I was planning my Vegas wedding. I wore a fifties style dress with a big petticoat and the Vivienne Westwood jelly shoes that were popular at the time, 2013. Husband wore navy trousers and waistcoat, white shirt open at collar and converse pumps.
Well I’m one of your older watchers. I tend to watch on the telebox in the mornings while I eat my cereal & drink my coffee before going to work. Bit of company – I live alone – and light relief as I will have listened to all the news on Radio 4 beforehand! As for your frizz, I tend to refer to that as my halo (naturally curly hair which does its own thing!). Enjoy your weekend & all your preparations for Las Vegas. Keep the content coming.
I rarely comment on articles for the reasons you mentioned but started trying to engage more, especially on Instagram now because so many creators seem to be having the same issues. You are one of the few websites I have been perusal for YEARS because so many of the others either changed too much for me to relate to or have stopped making articles.
I like the trainers with Lee’s suit. I think a decent quality white t-shirt would work really well… I got married in Vegas, wore a short strapless dress, which was quite weddingy. My husband wore an open shirt with a waistcoat & matching trousers. We definitely looked like we were getting married but not in a UK traditional way. Honestly, anything goes in Vegas and as long as you feel comfy that’s all that matters…. I do comment on vids, not always but enough. I used to use my nickname though. I’m early 40s and had at my eldest at 18, another in my 20s and 2 more in my 30s, so we have similar aged children. Definitely relate to a lot of your vids. Funny though, despite everything I always feel those my age are a few years older than me. I feel more mid thirties. Age is but a number as they say 🙂
That quote about age made me laugh, I love it! I’ve been struggling to find people to watch lately because it just all feels so irrelevant. I don’t have kids but have had to deal with some pretty horrendous health issues and it definitely made me grow up. I’ve just thought about who I watch and apart from you and one DIY website, they’re all way older than me! I think you’re on to something with this!
Glad to see your mouth works again 🤣Only the OG viewers will remember Miss Budget Baby! You and I are the same age and I’ve always been an old soul (I left home at 16) so I think that’s why You’ve always been relatable to me. I love Lee’s suit! It looks really nice with trainers but I agree that there’s a mismatch between your goddess dress and his t-shirt… Might I suggest an open-collar button-up shirt in the same colour as your dress and some box-fresh converse? I think that could work well. You look fabulous in EVERY dress 😍
I had 2 kids young—at 21 and 24. Then after a 10 year gap (lots of health struggles and other life things got in the way) I had 3 more (same dad). So now I have an 18 year old and an infant. It’s an odd spot to be in, as my peers right now either have older children and no babies, or they started later and haven’t yet experienced the teenage phase.
As you know i’ve been subscribed since probably the very beginning, i used to watch your articles in my uni house, and i graduated 10 years ago haha! But i used to watch for just the makeup reviews/content, and as i got older i stayed for the relatability, i was very immature in my 20’s so didn’t relate to you at the time, now we’re very similar people. Also, you and lee look stunning, that has to be THE dress?!
I’m 27 but have always had the more mature head on my shoulders and people always say I’m older then my years. I have been perusal you (before em actually just about) but watch you both. Supporting behind the screen since “ice decided I’m going to go blonde in the bathroom… going out in an 1hr so it needs to be done… days lol) xx
I love the idea of a suit, white tee & trainer’s, although I see what you mean with you being in a gorgeous gown. I’d definitely give the white open shirt a try but I’d still go with the trainer’s, I think that would look great. I’m 45 and haven’t been perusal as long as others but your personality on one of Emma’s vlogs is what made me start perusal you, I thought ” Now there is a lady I can relate to” & I’ve continued since then. I will often watch on telly so then forget to like sometimes but other times I watch on my phone. I always see your articles pop up on my home page but like I’ve told you before, I’m often late to the party thanks to poor health…but I get there eventually 😏xx
I’m 24 (soon to be 25 😆) and I have been perusal both of your websites since about 2015 🙈 I watch nearly every article but as like a semi silent viewer. Sometimes I like and leave comments on articles and other times I don’t. I have YouTube on in the background most of the time so like you said it’s hard to like and comment when perusal on a tv etc
Interesting what you were saying about age. I’m 32 and I don’t have not want children but I find I relate more to yourself than a lot of other YouTubers but saying that I am old for my age. My best friend is my mum and we holiday together etc. I have always said if I go to a nightclub and I’m the youngest person there I’m in the right place 🤣 I love the dress and the idea of a casual shirt and trainers with a suit for Lee.
Tbh I really like #3 & #4. #3: it gives off elegance and definitely has wedding vibes so I would go with this! However it is a little bit see through so definitely keep that in mind. #4 I thought I would hate it but out of the other three options I think it really suits your body type the most! It’s really flattering. Sucks that it came damaged though. Thought I would hate it but I think it’s wayy better than options 1 & 2. Definitely the bachelourette party dress tho! It’s fun and perfect for the occasion
All of the dresses are soooo beautiful but I DEFINITELY think the one from Clio Peppiatt is the most flattering!!! Plus I think the shoes match it best 🙂 While the silhouette of the Selkie dress is to die for, it’s not worth stressing about it being see-through on your wedding day. Also this is SO NOT important since you should always wear what you feel most comfortable and beautiful in, but just from a styling point of view, since the Show Me Your Mumu dress, the gloves, and the shoes are all slightly different shades of white/off-white, it kinda makes the outfit look disorganized. But all in all, you have great taste because they’re all great options!! I hope you have a beautiful time at your wedding!!!
I love the beading on the third one, but on article it looks very short and a lot cheaper than it actually is – sorry! I think that that others suit your body shape better and that number one would be beautiful tied differently. The shoes are pretty but are more yellow than the dresses and this will show in photos. However! You are going to look gorgeous whatever you choose to wear and I hope that you enjoy the heck out of your wedding ❤
The second one does not fit you well around the waist it’s too big. The first one would look cuter if the straps were tied the same way as the picture I like the line across the back with the straps tied together I don’t think the third one is worth $2000. It’s a tad bit too short with that slit and it comes off is looking super cheap.
