Casual attire can range from suit trousers and a short-sleeve button-down shirt to a sundress or blouse and skirt. If no dress code is listed, it’s best to dress semi-formal, which means a well-fitted suit or a pretty, knee-length dress. Tieless outfits can be elegant and stylish for various events, depending on the dress code. For men, a dark tuxedo, white dress shirt, coordinating bow tie, a cummerbund, and suspenders (optional) are suitable. Dress shoes, like oxfords, are suitable. Women can wear either a long gown or a dressy cocktail dress.
For wedding guest attire, wear a blazer with a dress shirt and tie if you have dress pants or cotton slacks or chinos. Wear a necktie or bow tie, but a bow tie is not necessary. If your wedding invitation specifies a formal dress code, wear a collared dress shirt. Use the one-shoe rule and pack one neutral pair of heels or dress shoes that go with all your dressy getups. Jewelry completes an outfit, and a sheeny suit or silk blouse and wide-leg trousers will fit right in amongst a sea of guests in dresses.
Supplying a suit before 4 PM is essential for daytime weddings, where lighter fabrics, festive colors, and less-formal attire are the rule. For a more casual wedding in a rustic, outdoor, or beach setting, tan suits are also a great option. For a more dressy but less formal outfit, try pairing a sport jacket with slacks.

📹 How to Look Good in ANY Suit
The recent people comment on my suits specifically and not the king’s suits not members of parliament is for one particular reason …
I’ve got to say that the amount of content this website has on style, it has become the go to place for any man that wants to up his style game. concerning what watch I’ll like to buy, it will be the Chrono S black and rose gold. That’s because the colours and the style can fit many outfits and occasions from a bussiness interview to a less formal occasion.
I’m not one to respond to many YouTube articles, but I have enjoyed perusal RMRS. The Bellweather blue and silver is a pretty good-looking watch. I would like to see a article at some point about buying clothing from a store vs buying clothing online, and the pros and cons of either. Thanks again for the article!
Hi Antonio! Recently bought an expensive suitcase for my work. I didn’t have a problem with my old suitcase- it was super cheap, trusty and I thought I didn’t need to “pamper” myself and buy expensive stuff. But after some remarkable persuading by my cousin ( he’s a veteran fan of the website), we made the purchase. I Cried initially due to money spent, but now I fancy it immensely. I’ve received some compliments from my co-workers too, so boosted my confidence even more! It’s quite endearing to see your advice have instant positive effect when executed. Now, thanks to my cousin’s initial push, I try to learn from you more. When it comes to the watches, like you said, It looks far more expensive than it actually is, and Vincero’s type of classical minimalism outshines It’s competition. It’s not a typical cookie cutter minimalism that always feels empty and cheap. Quite the opposite- It’s refined and I believe there’s not a single detail that was misplaced in any possible way. It’s minimal but stands out marvelously, without being flamboyant piece of junk, a truly fine piece. The case looks as It was made with an Italian devotion to style. What caters to the classical timepiece look is the dented dial with markings on it, along with additional dials of Chrono S. It just looks so timeless. something like a spedometer of a muscle car, and simultaneously reminds me of a watch in your intro, the look i really like. The crocodile pattern leather strap adds even more character Crocodile Dundee style.
Very useful. This has been my stepping stone to help me try and sort out my more casual look. Me and my friends have discussed about some of your articles and this came up at the right time. I’ve invested in a custom sports jacket that will be ready soon and would look great with my pink shirt. A brown/ blue Chrono would finish that look off as I’m yet to invest in a good watch. The brown/ tan straps always look the nicest for me. Think I need to see how much I ‘love’ everything in my wardrobe, I’m sure That will be an eye opening experiment. Thank you Antonio
“It Hot” totally agree, especially with the weather these years Started playing around more with accessories this spring, including odd vests, watches and bracelets. Been looking into rings and bracelets for a while, wondering if you have any artisan ring brands you could recommend? Thanks for another great article Antonio!
Another great article, Antonio! Hitting all the bases, clean sweep. Pretty sure you covered all these 10 items in standalone articles/articles, so this is a super summary of them all. To be more helpful, links to some of those vids maybe? I know different types of jackets is really a handful of great content. I like the Chrono S blue/brown. I think blue & brown is a superb color combo that is underused & I am a silver kind of guy.
For most of the outfits I tend to go with, the Chrono S (Black/Silver) would be great, but I admit, that the Bellwether (Silver/Blue) would be a great start to adding more colour to my day to day wardrobe. I’m sure you’ve heard this one before, but having two or three male models, with different builds, model some of the outfits would be a great.
I have recently been looking to up my style game I am a 22 year old man getting married in a couple of weeks and I applying to different fire department jobs and standing out is key in the interview process and the Chrono S Blue/Brown would definitely do that and would go great with my navy blue suit. love your content keep up the great work and God bless
Yes, we have so many other options besides a suit to look stylish. I love learning and experimenting with clothing. Although I’m only 16 (and essentially broke), I will more easily be able to consider buying these items when I start to earn money. As for now, I will have to stick with the affordable basics 🙂
Awesome article again. I have mostly nailed the fit now. I have been taking all my shirts, pants and jeans for altering. Got tailored shirts. Can say I have some go to outfits that make me feel confident. Mastered grooming also pretty well except not getting tiege hanley 😭. Never used to moisturize my skin or trim my 👃 before. Bought lion and Buddha accessories. Have to upgrade shoe game to next level with a pair of double monks. And also have to get a decent leather bag for airport purposes since I am travelling a lot domestically nowadays. And also have to dispose of some of the old clothings in my wardrobe. Great article and awesome information. By the way I love the Vincero Chrono S silver gold as I think it will look awesome with my formal outfits 😎👍🏾
Great article as always Antonio! I am a big suit guy, but after seeing this I’m definitely going to try some vests on their own. As far as the Vincero watches, I really took a liking to the Chrono s, gold with the white face and brown strap. I have a silver and black dress watch and have yet to get one with a brown band!
Literally been waiting for some stuff like this for a while. Reading my mind it would seem, I’ve always taken pride in my look but trying to stear away from the regular suit and tie or dress shirt and tie. Had a few guys download your app yesterday at work and sent them to your website. Love the article man keep it coming. -Mike also the Kairos. That brown band would go fantastic with my go to outfit. (Navy suit, white shirt rrd tie) Brown band is perfect but the face has always been a hard pick for me, Ive always had a hard time deciding what looks good with my skin tone. Leaning towards white vs blue. Always been a favourite. Currently was looking at a very similar one by Kenneth cole but would love your input as to what would go nicely. Thanks in advance!
I just got out my vests I have collected over the years Antonio.having re valued I’m very happy with my wardrobe built over many years with only minor adjustment required. however I found a vest I retained after discarding the jacket and trousers to a charity. kooks great with denim jeans and burgundy short sleeve polo… I could attach a photo but I still need to learn that new trick at 66. its light green and chocolate herringbone patern fabricated from silk lined wool. It’s so comfortable but I allowed it to hang for several years. I just put it on relaxing at home and I just feel so comfortable… and probably overdressed when I’m barefoot like now. Ha ha anyway I felt compelled to respond to another of your excellent articles. in closing Antonio I thank you for enriching this very important part of my life in my two footsteps. I’m a happy puppy.
Awesome article! The topic is somthing I have been thinking about alot recently and you nailed it. I really like the “The Kairos Black+Rose Gold”, because it would go well with a suit and my black oxfords. Right now I just have a chrono watch, and I think this watch would elevate my style to the next level.
Thanks for all the great content!!! I’ve been perusal your website for little over year now and have built up a strong wardrobe to point when I go out I get a lot compliments, seem more approachable and feel great. Oh man the BELLWETHER SILVER + WHITE with blue band would be one those bold moves take outfit over the top!! Go perfect with my navy blue suede dress shoes. Have one laying around !?!?!? Thanks Cary
this one is a great article. great work. On the days I want to stand out in the crowd I wear one of my many kilts. In the Irish midlands we seldom see a kilt. I always get great reactions. great comments. and get to talk to very interesting people. I love my kilts. and you get to wear so many different colours and combinations. ok, I am starting to get interested in pocket squares, bow ties, and different knots for regular ties. keep up the great work. Leon Carlow-Kilkenny, Ireland
I’m 20 and my fashion sense is business it is difficult for me to wear modern, young fashion it’s even hard for me to experiment with my casual wear i always wear slacks, poloshirt/polo, and black shoes i don’t have enough confidence to try now i gained weight( triangle) and am doing my best to lose weight and build my shoulder however even as slim my shoulder is just slouched it is one of the reason why i want formal suits. Recently i have a change of haircut from barbers cut to tapered cut( as far as i am willing to go) having struggles pulling it off but it is wonderful i like it. Nice content.
A while ago i watched a tie article. Then it progressed to me wanting to always dress business casual. Then frome there I went out and bought a suit and dicided to always dress up for school. Now I am looking for a job that will let me dress up because its so fun. I have to admit I love the attention I get when walking around the mall.
I checked out their website and all their watches. They are ALL beautiful. I can’t make up my mind on which one I like the most, but the Bellwether Silver+White on a blue strap stands out. Most of my pants are blue denim. A beautiful blue watch would definitely bring elegance and sophistication to my “jeans and a dress shirt” look.
I think you know you are going right when girls start approach you and talking to you taking interest in you… i think the only thing i was lagging in was my way of dressing but small details just help you so much looking sharp and i think you have helped me so much…thanks alot… greetings from india 🙏🏻
As a student I try to look as sharp as possible on a regular basis, but most of the time I skip on the sportsjacket. I found out that by just wearing some nice fitting dark jeans, a well tailored dress shirt and nice leather shoes you automatically look sharper than 90% of the other people. However, I do think bringing a nice jacket into anyone’s wardrobe is a must. Awesome article as always (I’m a fan of ‘The Chrono s/Rose gold or Silver&gold’ 😉
Antonio, I really like this website(Infact this is truly my favorite website in you tube ). The way you present it and you know you are very creative and its is like you really cares for every men’s way of dressing and styles.well,Can you please put up something for teenagers as well, perhaps in your next article. Thank you so much for always being there for us.
Excellent article for this time of year. I have been rebuilding my wardrobe since losing a significant amount of weight over the last year and a half. I had to donate just about an entire closet of clothing I don’t wear anymore or doesn’t fit right. Although I have some fun timepieces which can be a little dressy, I only own one for those very special occasions. Blue is my favorite color, and the blue face Chrono S Blue/Black looks like a winner to me. I’ll think about investing into a quality chrono in the near future. Thanks Antonio.
Mr Centeno, love you’re articles, they are always informative and I especially appreciate the almost fatherly way you explain things. If it’s not too much trouble I would like to hear your thought and advice on wearing trench coats and clothing of a similar type as I myself have three of them(thing like types of coats, what to look for in fit and how to tie the coat belt behind your back. I am aware it’s not the season, just please keep it in mind). Best wishes from Serbia. P.S.:I really like the Chrono S Black/Silver
Hey Antonio, I really like THE KAIROS BLUE/BLACK as I think it is very versatile through its simplicity. I chose this colour because I own a charcoal grey suit that would match perfectly with it, but I would also like to upgrade my casual outfits with this beautiful watch. Greetings from Germany Marvin
I really like this article because it shows you can have a lots of fun with dressing yourself in this hot summer weather and you have so much things to play with and combine and still look great. I nowdays wear business casual to work and especialy in this weather I enjoy it much more than suit, because I’m still bit insecure about bringing in more colours so I like to wear colourful socks as its nice detail for me, but it’s not so visible. Also as a lover of brown and blue combination my choice of watches would be Chrono S brown+blue.
Hey Antonio! Just now getting time to rewatch the article and check out the watches. I would really love the Rose Gold Chrono S. I am almost always wearing my sunglasses, and the rose gold would really complement the lenses. When I’m not wearing them, I often wear colours like black, gray, shades of brown, white, and blue. All of these would go well with a Rose gold watch! I almost said the blue and black Kairos, because I really like blue, but I love the face of the Chrono S.
Hi Antonio, lots for love and respect from India. Not just this but most of your articles are awesome. I’m sure you are inspiring many men who do not realize the importance looking and feeling great. I don’t use leather, I will be glad if you suggest an alternative when you talk about a leather product. This is one of reason why I’m having difficulty to build my wardrobe .. Thanks !!! Santosh
I have to admit – I was kinda skeptical in the beginning, but your tips acutally work very well. Since I am wearing Sports Jackets and dress shoes to work people start to compliment on my clothing! And I feel better with a more hidden “mid-section”, thanks 😉 As for the watches: I’m a minimalist here. Since my only dress watch is black and rose gold I’m looking for something like the Kairos White/Gold (with brown leather straps). Thanks again and greetings from across the ocean.
Accessories! I’m always sporting watch, ballpoint pen (if I’m wearing a shirt), and an utility belt pouch as a signature (and functional) accessories. I also trying to level up my footwear, but it’s hard for me to leave my few pairs of work boots. those are also my signature style aside from some leather shoes. I like the Chrono Black-Silver or the Kairos Blue-Black since I’m on the cooler-dark shades (I wear many blues and purples), and those designs just suits my age as it has a certain complexity, not too minimalist, but passable as a dress watch.
I would love the Chrono S Blue because it would add a nice pinch of posh and refinement to my style. The blue faced watch is classic, but Vincero’s version is unique with the remarkable detail in the overall face and the blue hue. Not only would this watch have a lot of versatility, but it will also add a nice pop of color to all of my outfits.
I would love the blue chrono s watch with the mocha croc strap. I don’t own a brown leather strapped watch and is definitely something I could use in my collection. I don’t wear black often and a brown strap would go perfectly with my daily office wear. I wear a watch every day, but this would be my first one with a leather strap as I always usually go with a metal band. I think blue faces are simply the best on watches hands down as they can both be dressed up and dressed down and I feel they showoff the watch face best. The blue face with the brown strap is easily something I could wear to work, and easily wear it on on a night out with the guys. It’s such a versatile look!
hey Antonio, I have a wedding coming up and i really need a black watch! The Vincero chrono S Black/Silver would go perfectly with the black suit and red tie/pocket square combo I’m gonna rock at this wedding in September. I am active duty enlisted Air Force and would really appreciate you helping out a fellow brother. Either way, love the articles man! Keep it up.
Antonio, what do you think about trying to pull off shorts with a long sleeve shirt like an oxford. I really like that long sleeve shirts make my arms look bigger because I am pretty skinny, but sometimes it’s just too hot for pants. Do you think that it is a good idea or those two things don’t go together? Thanks
I thought that this was going to be a article about vests :’) you suprised me antonio, either way Great article 🙂 And I was thinking about getting the “The Chrono S” in rose gold because I’ve gotten a belt for my birthday that would perfectly match with it, so it would be great if you still have one laying around ^-^
I especially liked the ideas of vests and how you’ve tweaked your hair style. Any style advice for guys who shave their heads? Im a firefighter so my facial hair options are limited. I keep a pretty clean look. Which is why I love Vincero’s The Chrono S – Rose Gold + White It’s clean cut, but strong, and bold. Also, I love the legacy case. My profession is steeped in tradition and the words of warrior leaders help motivate me to maintain a constant state of readiness in keeping with the public trust. Leaders such as Marcus Aurealius, Julius Ceasar (as inscribed), Teddy Roosevelt, even a modern day warrior monk like Mad dog Mattis, are examples of how to take raw, bold, aggression and refined it into a surgical weapon to wield. Which is what Vincero appears to have achieved with their watches; the refinement of bold attitudes and materials into precision instruments. Well done.
Antonio, sometimes I wish you’d throw in a two birds/one tailor move. When you go in for a fitting, talk to your tailor about little things that you can do at a small cost. Getting a nice shirt fitted? GREAT! How about a monogram on the cuff or maybe new buttons? Getting a jacket done? NICE! How about a new liner or cuff alterations? Especially if you are a thrift store shopper, making these changes (besides the tailoring) can transform a piece to something that’s wholly your own and amplifies your style. You threw out Vincero specifics. I’ve been drawn to the Chrono S (either white or blue face due to my coloring) with the silver face, but not for the face. Rather I don’t own any leather banded watches and going to a leather strap has been out there in my mind. I’ve held off as a silver strap can go on anything as long as I keep my metals together. Thanks for the content and thoughts. It’s all about getting started and giving things a chance. I changed my glasses for the first time in nearly half a decade and my wife couldn’t be happier with that seemingly minor detail.
Great article as always! I actually bought myself a pink shirt just today. I think about pairing it with some white chinos and brown leather pieces in general. I really need to upgrade my summer-wardrobe, most of my items are rather dark. But on my way, also thanks to guys like you and alpha. *Hint: The Chrono S Silver would be an awesome match to any kind of summer look, if you have one in stock, you know who needs one. 😉
Hi Antonio, I’d like to ask for a tip about hairstyle, I have long hair, much much longer than Christian Bale had it on american psycho but curly, I was figuring out if I can wear a classy, formal hairstyle with this, or will it be better if I cut it a little? it’s just that from what I see, older men wear it short as you do, teenagers and overall boys wear it long.. I don’t want to give wrong impression whether with colleagues or to women. can you give me some quick advice?
Hi Antonio, I’m really liking the Chrono S: Silver/Gold Vincero watch with the brown strap. Is that the one you’re wearing? I have a lighter skin tone so silver accessories primarily suit my complexion, but I love how the gold accents on the watch face contrasts and compliments the brown strap! Please consider me if you have an extra!
The bellweather black and red would work great for me I use those colors a lot and it would be my first step into leather straps at the company I work for we are free to choose what we want to wear for the most part I get complimented on my shirt and watch combination and that watch in particular would look great in and out of work with most of my outfits
Hey, I recently found some old clothes and it looked like they were two layered but actually, they are just a one-pieced clothing. Still, they looked great. Being in a tropical country, this is really nice. It doesn’t feel as hot as compared to wearing multiple layered clothing out in the open. What are your opinions on the seemingly “layered” one-pieced clothing?
Happy Veterans Day. I just got out of the military (Air Force) and am attending college. I never really payed any attention to how I presented myself and typically wore sweat pants and basketball shorts. I am interested in looking my best and presenting myself in a more professional way. My question is how do I start, where do i start? I realize i cant just go drop thousands to replace my closet, and i do have jeans and one suit, but where do i begin? I never thought i would be turning to youtube for answers but after some research and shopping around a bit, its a little intimidating with all of the options and styles out there. I want a professional appearance in the event I have a random encounter with a potential future client, i dont want to look like trash. Ive subscribed to your website for more. Thank you.
I was stunned by The Kairos – Blue/Brown. They are gorgeous. They can go well with my dark grey double breasted suit and my I can pull it off with my dark green sports jacket and jeans. I hope one of the extras you have is this model Antonio. Even if it isnt, I am going to purchase it from the Vincero anyway 🙂
Great article Mr.Antonio. One smakl thing for countries having hot weather almost year round like India, a jacket or even a vest is not an option. So what should one do in that case to look sharp without having to wear a jacket or a vest etc. And i really like the Vincero Chrono S Blue/Brown watch as having a tanned skin color it the color combination if that watch would just seamlessly blend into any outfit and compliment my skin color as well & also i look good in anything blue ! 😀
You’re right, a lot of people do think that simply wearing a suit means that they look nice or sharp, whether it fits them or not. I see this so much and it drives me insane. Some people that I see wearing baggy loose suits would look 1000x sharper in only properly fitted jeans and a button down shirt. FIT FIT FIT
i like the kairos white/gold with brown leather band i think it would work well for me cuz it’s a classy elegant luxurious watch but I could also dress it down with a nice pair of dark denim jeans and a button-up so be real nice casual Watch 2 so it’s got the best of both worlds could dress it up or you could dress it down
Do one for coaches, I’m not a coach but my job is very similar. I use cargo like pants (need the pockets) and golf polos (I sweat a lot so the fabric is good for air), but although functional, I still feel I could look sharp and more professional. Will admit my shirts are a bit loose, but been slowly gain weight (mostly muscle) so I will grow into them which I am, just slowly.
Hey Antonio, I don’t know if I have a round face or square face. My face is pretty wide, and I have some fat on my face. Should I lose body fat to figure out what I really am? Or is there another way to figure it out? I have already tried most of the common methods out there and sometimes get Oval, Round, and Square. What should I do? Thanks Antonio!!
Hi Antonio, I enjoy your articles, since you present them in a manly aspect. I believe that dressing well si geting hard and expensive. Could you try take this same topic on this articles and applying it on a topical climate. Respected to the Vincero watch I would get would be the the Chronos S Silver/Gold since I need a proper dressing watch client meeting that show boldness and genuine caracter. Over all a every day usable watch. Thank you,
I have two suits. I would like to wear them more often. I’m going to a casino today. Yet both suits aren’t tailored with me in mind. One is just about perfectly fitted to me even though it was tailored fore someone else. The other was started, pins and all added but never finished. I can not afford to get them tailored, my tie was stolen, my watch broke, cannot afford a new one just yet, i dont have Dress Shoes anymore. I also have two Mafia looking Hats. One Suit is like a light Blue or baby blue or maybe more like a light Powder Blue. While the other is a gray suit that has stripes, looks old school Mafia like. I have no vests anymore either. My leather belt needs to be replaced my brown suspenders look loose when not, they also tend to unclip even when i have the right fitting. I have a really nice white shirt great for suits, my favorite Blue dress shirt great for suits and Work, fantastic for weddings. my affordable clothing shop is Savers. What do i do?
7:07 PM\r Ipinadala mo\r Hi. I’ve been following your YouTube website for some time now. I am not sure if you are aware, but you also have fans in Asia like me. I was wondering if you can make a article or series that gives tips on how to look sharp in warmer or tropical countries for smart casual or business casual. Much appreciated.
Suits are a thing of the past I believe. I honestly thought they would make a comeback but I don’t think so. Obviously occasions will require a suit but even that is rare. The dress code for both men and women has become so relaxed at this point its really unbelievable. You will see more people in and around stores and just in general in pajamas than a suit of any type. That is not an exaggeration.
Perhaps one of the best articles I’ve seen so far. Great article for those of us that do not use suits, yet as office liders should look sharp without over doing it. Regarding the Vincero watches. The Chrono S Black/Tan would be a perfect fit for me as I regularly use a combination of dark or black jeans, a light color shirt, and a colorful tie with either black or brown shoes, most of my wardrobe fits under that description.
Man I’m very glad that you work with brands that increase your income and that things are going well. But as someone who has worked for years in the watch-industry, I have to say that a watch like the one you’re recommending to people has absolutely nothing to do with the art of watchmaking and is of very poor quality. Also if they dress sophisticated from head to toe and then put on a watch like that, everyone who knows anything about watches will notice the poor choice in watches. There are a lot of affordable watches out there that offer a lot more quality. But I understand how this works. As long as they pay you you’ll recommend them.
THE KAIROS BLACK/GOLD Why would it work for me? Cuz If people tell me what a nice watch I can tell them I got it from REAL MEN REAL STYLE his referral to a company called Vincero… Real men Real style shows off quality goods to people like me and I’m smart quality goods REAL close to me. Almost as close as my body armor!
After you get it all tailored, don’t gain or lose a pound. Speaking from experience. It gets VERY expensive. Also, I’m an experienced watch collector. I recommend staying away from vincero watches. Their fashion watches and definitely not something that would last long enough to pass down. I’m not bashing this article but these guys selling their sponsors goods can be misleading.
