Short hair is chic, stylish, and easy to manage, but it may not be suitable for a wedding. Hairstylists recommend 35 wedding hairstyles for short hair, including bobs, braids, Old Hollywood waves, and boho buns. They share styling tips and give tips on how to wear them.

Volumized natural wedding hairstyles for bobs are stunning, with short feathered hairstyles being a popular choice. A messy bun can be created by tucking both sides of hair behind ears. The tousled chignon is another option for second-day hair. A twisted half-up half-down style is the ultimate wedding guest hairstyle, with two pieces of hair from the front of the head twisted and pinned together.

Daytime weddings are more casual, with lighter fabrics, festive colors, and less-formal attire. For women, a nice daytime dress, skirt, top, or jumpsuit is good, while for men, a well-tailored suit in a mid-to-dark neutral color is appropriate. Gathering hair into a ponytail at the crown of the head for added movement can be done with extensions.

A half-up half-down hairstyle is versatile and flattering, complimenting any face shape. To style, apply mousse to damp hair and blow-dry to add volume. Some popular bridal hairstyles for short hair include soft curls with pinned back bangs, natural coils with crystal hairpiece, and a peacock-styled bob.

  • I love your articles. Every time I cut my hair in a bob, I like it for a day or 2 & immediately grow it back out. My profile pic is old & my hair is currently long in a bun like always. I never had an under cut, my hair is super thick so my neck gets really hot & my sides get puffy. I’ve been struggling w/cutting my hair again because I ONLY wear it in a bun & also get migraines because my hair is so heavy, but after perusal all of your articles, I’m definitely going to cut it w/an under cut. Please keep posting articles. I absolutely love them & they are so versatile. 🙌

  • I’ve had long hair for so many years I just recently got my hair cut like this and styles have changed so much since this haircut from years ago and I soooo appreciate this cause I had no clue how to fix this short hair but could u tell me plz how to keep the front from getting oily through out the day of running my fingers through it to put behind my ears or move out my eyse or something

  • Who else is here trying to hide an awful haircut? 🙋🏼‍♀️ I have layers that are all mostly on one side and the girl knew I had a side part. She also gave me the most choppy ass face frames and it’s an everyday struggle to try and put it up and make it look half decent. Can’t do pony tails and I can’t do pig tails without two big sections of hair falling out. I have to put the hair tie in a certain spot so layers of my hair aren’t falling out. I’m really fucking upset because I almost got someone else to do my hair (which was the original plan) but Someone was graduating so she was doing their hair. On top of that I missed time with my grandpa coming for a surprise visit when he lives 10 hours away. All because of a stupid haircut. It was my fault for asking for face frames and layers with short hair but they should not have come out that bad.
