  • I tried this last night on a full sheet cake, decorated with a ton of thick frosting, and it worked perfectly! My only suggestion might be that when you’re at the bottom of each cut, wiggle the fishing line back and forth several times, forcing it down. If the top of the cake moves, you haven’t cut all the way through yet.
