How To Wear Diamond Ring And Wedding Band?

The traditional way to wear a wedding band and engagement ring is to place the band on the left hand ring finger and wear it alone. However, some couples prefer to wear the band on their right hand, as it allows the engagement ring to slide on the left hand. Mixing and matching multiple wedding bands and engagement rings is popular, and couples can style their engagement ring in various ways.

In Western cultures, the wedding band is typically placed “closest to the heart,” with the engagement ring on top. However, some couples prefer to wear the band on their right hand, as it allows the engagement ring to slide on the left hand. Classic and Signature solitaire engagement rings come in various styles, including Round or Flat bands, Infinity bands, and Chevron or Signature V bands.

In the United States, the engagement ring is traditionally worn on the left hand finger, symbolizing love and devotion. The right finger is also crucial, with the anniversary band generally worn on the same finger as the wedding ring. Pear-shaped and Round-cut diamond engagement rings have various options for pairing, with the choice of wedding band depending on personal style.

The traditional way of wearing wedding rings is to wear them on the left hand finger, with the diamond ring on the bottom and the wedding band on top. This is a traditional way of wearing rings, but may not work with all ring styles or finger types. In modern-day marriage, there is no real difference between a wedding ring and a wedding band. The wedding band is typically stacked below the engagement ring on the left ring finger, but some couples prefer to wear it on top to secure it on the finger. For those opting to wear both rings together, tradition dictates that they be worn on the fourth finger of the hand. The proper order to wear both rings is to place the wedding band first on the ring finger, followed by the engagement ring.

  • Brilliant design concept! I really dislike “gapiosis” with wedding sets. In my case, I wear a traditional 6 prong 2ct solitaire similar to the one you show at the 5.10 mark. I have 2 carat eternity bands on either side for the stacking effect. They have a nearly perfect flush sit because of the design of the solitaire. Not having any intention of giving up this set that commemorates my 25 (now 27+) years of marriage, if your design concept had been available I’d have jumped on it! Enjoyed this article Bonnie!
