Then, Candice Bergen tells the story of two girls who went to the Plaza Hotel with their mothers for lunch in June and saw a wedding. Eye C. I don’t think a wedding should be so vain. Mrs. Hathaway can’t act angry. She looks fake when she’s angry. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars, 04/12/24 Hargie M No character development. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/04/24 Full Review Roasting N A cliched mess of a chick flick. The relationships in the movie are unexplored, and the dynamics of the main characters are not well-developed. But the worst thing about this movie is that Emma left her 10-year relationship over a stupid film with no build-up to the breakup, and then she suddenly felt for Livs brother. Emma and Fletcher had a healthy relationship. Emma and Livs brother had a sister-to-brother dynamic. Their romance felt sour. I wanted to know more about Deb’s character. Most of the characters are undefined because the runtime wants to prioritize unfunny skits. The only good thing is Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson’s performance, which made me believe they were best friends. A cliché film with no characters. Rated 2 out of 5 stars, 02/21/24 Joshua C. I didn’t expect much, just a few laughs, and I’m still disappointed. This film is nothing but a comedy. This bland, unfunny, and predictable movie can’t save Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway’s charisma. The story doesn’t match the good message. Rated 2 out of 5 stars, 02/17/24 Full Review Christian K. Not offensive, just bland. The leads struggle through the silly plot and thin characters. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/24 Full Review kagey: What a stinker! It’s hard to root for either main character, so it became difficult to enjoy the bridezilla antics. In the end, it left you with a blah feeling. You couldn’t care less who won or who lost. To make matters worse, you had Candice narrating as if this were some type of fairy tale that the average viewer couldn’t understand without it being explained. It wasn’t. It was a complete waste of time. 1/7/24: 1 star. Full review. Read all reviews. Post a rating.

A1C William (Bill) Pitsenbarger was a USAF Pararescue PJ who volunteered to go down and stay on the ground after the army medic was wounded and evacuated. He was not an Army medic. That was what got to so many troops on the ground. An Air Force guy right there in the thick of it when he didn’t have to be there. …These things we do that others may live. My father is a former PJ.
The Forgotten Battle is truly a gem. Really happy to find it in your review! I started perusal it out of curiosity, expecting a “cheap-o” production; but it is quite the opposite. Not to mention multiple compelling and masterfully casted and acted storylines, the history within the film is accurate and the visuals are superb. Fantastic movie!
Don’t forget about T-34. It’s a subtitled movie about a WW2 Russian tank commander that’s captured by the Nazis after he was wounded in battle. While in a prison camp he’s tasked by a familiar Nazi tank commander to participate in tank-based exercise that he’s determined to not only survive but escape while doing so. This movie must not be missed.
personally black hawk down needs a spot on all these types of lists. and this year bringing the movie “All quiet on the western front” to netflix i’d say it deserves the number one spot on the list. also siege of jadotville, and 13 hours, and many more. thanks bro for making this list tho. great quality content, keep it up.
Ahhh. I guess that is about as good as it gets on Netflix. Watched some of them and stopped watch most because they didn’t interest me. I guess I just don’t like the characters in these films. They all seem to be about to have a nervous break down. If that was the case in these films, how in the heck did anyone ever win a war.
The Outpost is Bad A, although there’s some very filthy lines in it—don’t watch with Ma or Pa. Taliban fighters are spray-and-pray low skilled trash, but they don’t quit and they’re brave. The Forgotten Battle was kinda dull. Mosul is good. 1917 was good……..I might check out The Last Full Measure, even though it’s about a medic. (Hacksaw was too).
If you are having trouble finding a movie it may not be in your region. You can always bypass this by using a VPN that lets you region swap, like Nord or Express. Also, for a couple of honorable mentions check out The Bombardment which is an excellent new film on Netflix and Danger Close which is a great Vietnam movie I’ve highlighted in the past.
Seriously, are these the best on offer? The 1917, Outpost and Mosul were decent movies, but the other two are garbage. The last full measure put me to sleep while the vile Peter Fonda depicting any man in uniform is an insult to all soldiers. The Forgotten Battle had one error after another, involved far too much deep breathing and yelling in place of decent dialogue with very modernist (read boring) themes throughout. As soon as Ozark is over, I will be joining the exodus from Netflix.
