However, there are specific wedding venues where black dresses are not appropriate, such as beach weddings or tropical destinations. Black dresses are more suitable for nautical, outdoors, or country-themed events.

  • That was a nasty move the mom pulled. I’m guessing groom wants to be on the good side of the mom and is agreeing with her to pacify her so mom is exploiting that to the fullest to get her way. I could see the bride’s mood was off when she greeted Randy and then she dropped the bomb about mom’s sh*tty move. It’s her wedding, her dress. HER say matters more. Mom doesn’t have to like it—she needs to respect her daughter’s choices.

  • Online companies have truly taken the place of a lot of in person bridal stores. Because of that, I ordered my beautiful dress online w/o my Mom being present or even informing her. Honestly, I was just so excited that I didn’t think about how my Mom was left out. I felt so bad about it. But, mothers have to learn boundaries when it comes to their children’s happiness. This is a beautiful young woman and hopefully she finds what she likes

  • Momma is toxicity up the wazoo!!!!! I would be furious if my mother called my fiance. This must be ALL ABOUT TRACEY not about Mommy. It’s Tracey’s wedding day NOT her mother’s. The black dress looked fire on her. She looked gorgeous. 75% of parents want to see their little princess in white but not every “little princess” wants to wear white.

  • These parent remind me of my own narcissistic parents, i cut them out of my life and myself out the family due to how toxic both of my parents are. And how the rest of the family just tolerates the abuse… I can guarantee you that once she has the ability to leave her own rudely ass opinionated parents her mental health will flourish much more brightly.

  • “I will not walk you down the isle in a black dress.” Imo, that father is even more disgusting than the mom. Holy shit Tracy rocks that black dress too!! Man, I’ll admit i was a bit skeptical about a black wedding dress too, but seeing Tracy come ALIVE in it and rightfully declared she felt like a queen made me gasp in delight! She’s a beautiful young woman and deserves better support.

  • Ok the dresses aside…why the heck did the mom call fiance if the bride didn’t want that??!my heart broke when this poor bride started crying…. The fiance sounds to be controlling too…. This gorgeous bride just needs a new fiance and a new set of parents too! Or no parents at all… So toxic my god… Actually marrying a man like Gomez would be the actual fairytale he’s the biggest green flag ever

  • I don’t understand why some parents are so controlling over their child’s wedding? How can they possibly rationalise it in their head? They must know what they are doing is wrong. There’s no way they think what they are doing is for her benefit. How is it gonna benefit her by wearing a white dress instead of a black dress? It’s just the colour of a dress. If she regrets the colour choice I’m sure they can find someone to photoshop the wedding photos. There are so many controlling parents on this show and these two take it to the next level with their manipulation. I don’t understand how any of these parents justify their actions and think it’s ok.
