Who was the pastor that married a 14 year old?
Ash Pereira, 30, said she was 14 when Jason Greathouse, then a 24-year-old pastor at Heritage United Methodist Church in Enterprise, moved in with her family because he was struggling financially. At 15, Pereira had a baby with Greathouse. Pereira said she was forced to marry Greathouse. She only pursued rape charges against him last year because she got bad advice from a lawyer, her mother, and Greathouse. Is speaking in tongues real or fake?
Samarin found that glossolalia is not really language. He reached this conclusion because the syllable string did not form words, the speech was not organized, and there was no relationship between speech and concepts. Humans use language to communicate, but glossolalia doesn’t. Therefore, he concluded that glossolalia is not human language because it is not organized or related to the world. Samarin defined Pentecostal glossolalia as meaningless but phonologically structured human utterance. The speaker believes it is a real language, but it bears no resemblance to any natural language. Felicitas Goodman studied Pentecostal communities in the United States, the Caribbean, and Mexico. She compared what she found with recordings of rituals from other religions. She considered both the structure of sounds, syllables, and phrases and the rhythm, accent, and intonation of the music. She found that the music was the same for Pentecostal Protestants and followers of other religions. Classical antiquity. In the ancient world, people believed that gods spoke languages different from humans. Historians of religion have found references to this in Greco-Roman literature. Sometimes, this is called “glossolalia,” which means “speaking in tongues.”The Testament of Job describes the daughters of Job as being given sashes that enable them to speak and sing in angelic languages.
Who said if I had 10 000 tongues?
With Bishop Gilbert Evans.
When did pastor Tony Evans remarry?
Anthony Evans is an American evangelical pastor, speaker, author, and radio and TV broadcaster. Evans is the senior pastor of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas.
Early life and education. In 1973, at 24, Tony Evans was contacted by a radio show producer from Houston. This man contacted Dallas Theological Seminary, where Tony was a junior in the Th.M. program, asking for free content for his program. One of Tony’s professors recommended him. This is how Dr. Tony Evans started broadcasting on TV. Tony recorded his sermons in a tiny studio on the seminary campus. He spent the next few years preaching into a microphone for a crowd in Houston. In 1981, The Urban Alternative was formed when people kept asking for Dr. Evans’ sermons. Mrs. Lois Evans, the co-founder of the ministry, started fulfilling orders. Mrs. Evans used her business skills to help the ministry grow.
When you speak in tongues What language is it?
Pentecostal and charismatic beliefs are not the same, so there is not complete agreement on speaking in tongues. Generally, followers believe that speaking in tongues is a spiritual gift that can be manifested as either a human language or a heavenly language. The gift of tongues is a glossolalic utterance spoken by an individual and addressed to a congregation of other believers. Praying in the spirit is glossolalia as part of personal prayer. Many Pentecostals and charismatics quote Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 14, which set guidelines for using glossolalia in the church at Corinth. The extent to which these instructions are followed is a matter of debate. The gift of tongues is often called a message in tongues. Practitioners believe that glossolalia must be interpreted so that the congregation can understand. There are two schools of thought about the nature of a message in tongues.
What does Tony Evans say about speaking in tongues?
They’re speaking in tongues. In Acts 2, the people were speaking in languages they knew, not just making sounds. They were amazed that they could understand each other. Verse 11 says, “We hear them in our own language.” They were speaking languages they didn’t know. The supernatural took over something that was not natural to them. They spoke in other languages. This isn’t the time to talk about how this relates to 1 Corinthians 14, which talks about praying in tongues. If you pray in your private time with God, that’s between you and God. We’re talking about your public declaration now. Your public declaration needs to be understood by other members of the church and non-believers. That’s why the Bible says in 1 Corinthians you need an interpreter. Why not do more unusual things outside of our regular Christianity to experience a stronger God? Why? We lack the Holy Spirit. God is disrupting the church because he wants a fresh start. He says, I don’t want more programs and personalities. I want the Holy Spirit to operate in his church so that the earth can have wind and fire from heaven. They spoke and it made a big impact. Here’s a warning. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 says, “Do not quench the Holy Spirit.” What does quench mean? It means to put out a fire. To quench is to put out a fire. He’s birthing something. He says, Don’t put it out. He’s stopping you. You see it throughout Acts. In Acts 9:17-20 and 13:9, we read that when Paul was filled with the Holy Spirit, he became bold in his speech. In Acts 4:8, we read that when Peter was full of the Holy Spirit, he was bold. In Acts chapter 6, verses 2 and 3, the first deacons needed help solving a problem between Greek and Hebrew-speaking Jewish widows. They asked for men filled with the Holy Spirit to help. Why? We need Spirit-filled leaders because we have a big problem.
Who is Carla Crummy?

📹 CONGRATULATIONS! Pastor Tony Evans is ENGAGED!
Don’t forget to bless someone else by sharing this channel and its videos. Also, feel free to come back often. Just remember, we …
One of the regrets we have as children is hindering our father from getting remarried after our mom passed. Our father honored our wishes but his health deteriorated quickly. We have been providing 24/7 care for our father. I wish we had supported him but we were just too broken to see anyone else in our mom’s place. Please allow your parents to love again. From my heart to yours ❤️ Blessing to the Evans children for supporting your father. You will be happy you did.
I’m not gonna lie this was the most respectful and honorable engagements i’ve seen since the lost of a pastors wife going into a new relationship. People need to take notes because they don’t realize how it affects the family and congregation! It’s easy to love and accept Dr. Carla, i believe she would be a great addition to Dr. Evans Life.. Congratulations to the entire family… Love still Wins!
Just looking at Sweet Priscilla I can almost feel her pain. It’s the pain of that lump in the back of your throat that you have to hold there or else you’ll break down crying. Holding it in is painful. I hope she finds peace to release that pain. Knowing that her mother is so proud of her and that she’ll see her again 🩷
My father and mother have been married for all of my 46yrs and are still together both in their 70s and reasonably healthy. However, if one of them passed I would not stand in the way of either of them remarrying. You can die from loneliness. Their happiness is paramount to me. Congratulations Dr Tony Evans.❤️🙏🏾
Having gone through something very similar in 2007, I have remarried to a Godley woman and have been so blessed by God. More than I deserve . I was perusal this article and felt so much joy for you both. Praise the living God for His tender mercy. May God continue to bless you both as you move forward in this life. 🙏
When I became a born again believer Dr. Evans and Pastor Charles Stanley were one of the first teachers to break down the word of God to this then “babe” in Christ. I relocated to Dallas after Grad school and enjoyed the teaching and wisdom that he continued to deliver in EVERY season. He has been faithful through loss, hardship, COVID, and has been a symbolic spiritual father to many souls. I love his example of walking in God’s promises. Even in this decision, I believe he is honoring the Lord. Thank you for all that you have done and been to me in my faith walk Dr. Evans. Though I have moved further away, you STILL are my favorite voice and teacher regarding the gospel of Christ. May you RICHLY enjoy the goodness of God and the Fruit of your labor in EVERY season of life!
I was just thinking two days ago as I was listening to one of his sermons. He deserves a wife (another chance at a marriage) but I know everyone grieves differently and then I see this. Wow ! I’m so happy for them both . I’m sure each of their late spouses would approve. So happy to see his children supporting him in this new chapter of his life. Praise God !
One thing I love about Dr. Evans is his spiritual maturity, and never shying away from difficult topics. I love the way he navigates this sensitive issue of re-marrying with grace, dignity and respect for his children and church family. He deserves our prayers, support and love. That we will do as they both enter into a new season of what God has called them to do. ❤💯Love from Across the Pond.
I’m happy for Dr. Evans who has found a new companion. My father is a pastor and we lost our mom due to cancer. They had been married over 50 years. As children/grands, it was hard when my dad decided to remarry because it reminded us that our mother was no longer with us. It seemed as though we grieved all over again as if my mother had just passed. I often told myself and my siblings, ” That life goes on for us missing mother, but for dad he is missing a lifetime partner who he laid next and woke up with him for over 50 years. And although, we all have experienced loss, but for dad it is different, it is a loss on another level.” To Evans children/grands, it is hard, but God will see you through. I know you want your dad to be happy, but it is a reminder of your major loss. Your dad will always love your mom and no one could ever take her place. She will never be forgotten. Thank you for supporting your dad in the midst of your broken hearts. Praying for Dr. Evans, his wife to be, the children/grands and the church family as you walk into a different season. I have much love for your family.
I’ve followed this family for many years. I always felt like Pastor Tony needed a woman to help take good care of him after his beautiful wife made her transition. I’m praising God for matching him up w another woman. My prayers are that they have a long wholesome beautiful marriage. I love you and your family Pastor!! 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
I’m speechless, proud and filled with Joy to be able to see this man of God live out his life in such fashion that God is well pleased. When I was a kid, I use to say I want to be like Mike, when I became a man I wanted to be like Christ. Dr Tony Evans thank you for being that father I always wanted.
Congratulations Dr. Tony Evans and Dr. Carla Crummie! I’m thankful for the paths the Lord gives us in life, to share with others. I know your steps together has been ordained in the spirit, not only to have another partner in life, but in God’s glorification of two people coming together, to continue their walk in the Lord and sharing that gift of one unity. God bless you both and your families.
Ion know how to feel about this one. Looking at his adult children faces the entire time tells me their not so joyous about this new journey. Which is very understandable. Because I myself thought the late beautiful Dr.Lois Evans’ memories and history of their love and legacy would have been enough to carry him out through the rest of his days. Just him and Jesus. And then Dr.Crummie was a friend of Dr.Lois’?! Nahhh that wouldn’t work for me. I respect and love Dr.Tony Evans teaching and I’m a virtually viewer plus I’ve learned so much by studying my Dr.Tony Evans study bible so I feel somewhat like family. So if the Lord seen fit to give you another wife I say God bless and congrats. Lord may Your will be done in Jesus name, Amen. 🙏🏾❤
Congratulations Dr. Evans! I love the way you were sensitive to the grief of your church. It takes a while to heal from such a painful loss. This explains perfectly why you are loved around the world. I love your children for supporting you the way they do! It is not good for men to be alone. You’re one of the hardest working pastors I’ve ever seen. So glad that God has given you this sovereign balance. You deserve it!! May the Lord bless and keep you and your new fiancé in perfect peace in your union as you keep your minds on Christ and His love for you both. I pray the blessings of great joy and wisdom for you both in Jesus Mighty name, amen 🙏🏽
Congratulations Dr Evans. Read your devotions daily. My husband’s been gone from this world 16 yrs on the 13th of this month. It took me 11 yrs before a man of God in my church asked to date him. It was awkward at first. Then covid hit and took him along with his 2 brothers. We’d dated almost 2 yrs. After 2 marriages and dating its me and Jesus now. Happy for you.
I was totally shocked and surprised. I never thought Pastor Evan’s would remarry. However, he loved and still loves Dr. Lois and no one will ever take her place. NO-ONE. He deserves a companion if he chooses. I don’t know his fiancé but if he chose her she must be a great person. I will always love and treasure Dr. Lois Evan’s regardless. Praying for the family. I do feel sad though.
Okay, now I can really say yes I can move on! I lost my dad and my husband June 13 and July 14 2022 respectively. I’ve had to deal with grief in a terrible way but seeing this just revived my hope! I am still young and I can get it right again by God’s grace. Thank you Dr Evans, you’re forever a blessing. Thank You Jesus!
Hi Dr Tony Evans, I can’t begin to tell you how much this news has made my day. I’m 56 so your probably not old enough to be my dad, but I look up to you in the absence of my own father and tell you that I’m proud of you. Your messages are life saving and I thank God for your life and pending marriage. God bless you both. I’m pleased that you both get a chance at finding love ❤️. UK 🇬🇧 is behind you all the way man of God. Well done 🙏
Blessings to you and your new fiance! Four years grieving is more than eough, and God brought you a new companion. Follow the Father’s superior love and care of both you and Sis. Crummie. Do not disobey Him. Enter into your next chapter of love, blessing and grace! Congratulations to you both and blessings to all who celebrate you!
Dr. Evans, when you were at Glen Este church in Batavia, Ohio, the Lord put a word in my heart about you. He said you were in communion with a lady. That you would be getting married. Wow! God is so good. My husband and I got together four years ago, after suffering great losses. We were 65 when God brought us together as man and wife. You are never too old to ding love again. God bless you both!
The solidarity of the children as their dad makes this announcement means a lot. It may or may not have been this easy to stand in love as he was initially going through the dating process and as he was getting to this announcement, but through it all they were there, a united front. We grieve our loves and we will grieve them to the day we move on to be reunited. As we grieve life still goes on down here. We may feel for a moment that our life has stopped after the passing, but if we get stuck there that can be a very lonely place. He will never stop loving her. His life is still going on in the midst of that love and grief just as his wife-to-be’s life is going on through her own grief and love of her 1st husband. They are not replacing their spouses just continuing their journey through life with someone.
What a monument to your beloved Lois. I’m sure that she’s smiling down on you from heaven and wanting you to have someone in your life again that will love you and care for you like she did. God’s grace and blessing on you and your family and your soon to be new wife and her family as well as the congregation.
I am an advocate for Christian marriage and understand “till death do us part”. Everyone knows how much Dr Evans loved sister Lois. While its exciting that Dr. Evans has been blessed with someone else to share the rest of his life with, putting myself in the shoes of his children, especially his daughters…i feel some way because of who this lady is…the friend of his deceased wife. I specifically remember a Facebook live with his daughter about a year ago featuring Ms Crummie..she was introduced as a family friend and one who was set to help grieving wives within the Oak Cliff Ministry. If i was a child of Dr Evans, I would be upset because instead of supporting us and remaining my dad’s friend and the family “auntie”, you low key came and hooked up with our dad. I know the Evans kids love their dad and perhaps are going along with this as they don’t want to hurt him but some part of me feels they’re not 100%… they’re maybe wondering how could auntie do this to us?!
Congratulations, Pastor Tony Evans and Dr. Carla!!! What a beautiful story. My husband, John, of 16 yrs, went home to be with the Lord on Feb 4, 2016. Like yourself, I had the honor to be by his side as he stepped from this earth to the presence of the Lord. Thank you for sharing this news in a respectful and honorable manner. I trust and hope for my own story as well. Until then, I pray and serve Him faithfully.guiding my 3 kids. Blessings from Houston.
I am so happy for Dr Evans and Dr Crummie. Lois set the bar high, so for it to even be a consideration, speaks well of Dr Crummie. Lois loved Dr Evans and would want him to keep living. He was faithful to Lois in life and she is certainly not forgotten in death. His children support this decision, so let’s all wish them both well. This is a blessing from the hand of the Lord to Dr Evans.
God is sooooooo good!!! May Jesus continue to bless Dr. Tony Evans and Dr. Carla Crummie for being faithful servants and honoring the loss of their loved ones without jealousy. How beautiful this is to watch and hear of how awesome God is to connect two beautiful warriors for Christ together. God Bless You both even more!!!!
It is so sad when children lose a parent and protecting the memories of a parent is usually done it seems by asking another parent not to move on. We have travelled that road it was not easy but with much prayer and acceptance we learnt to foster enough love to embrace without bitterness and resentment the other parent choice. A few years later we are still a happy family. not easy but worth the effort. Congratulations Dr. Evans and family. May God’s blessing be upon you as you move forward with the new woman of God.
My husband loved Pastor Tony Evans teaching he passed almost 2years ago when we were going through losing my husband and my children’s dad this family was on TV talking about his first wife passing I wasn’t sure when but as I entered my living room they were on my TV and they went through this also . I was grieving but God allowed me to watch for a moment then I left with my family. I am happy he has found love again and I love how the family is on stage with him because life is short .. Love 💕 and if your Bless to find it embrace it because true love is Beautiful. Blessings to you both. I love how the Pastor said she honored his first wife. and presented her to the church. God Bless you Pastor Evans. My condolences to you both but God knows how to make it Beautiful ❤️ we have an awesome Father. Beautiful Family.
I feel for Priscilla, I can see her fighting back the tears. I can’t imagine getting remarried if my husband were to past. For me, I don’t want to have another love. I’m perfectly content living out my last days with the memories of us and our life together. Nevertheless, I hope they find happiness and it’s not for me to judge. It feels too soon. 😢
my apologies but my heart breaks for his children. by the looks of all the emotions priscilla went through, you can see how much it’s effecting her. It’s only been 3 years and i’m really struggling right now. can someone share a scripture of what the bible says about remarrying and which wife you will be with when you cross over into eternity?
Congratulations! A Bittersweet moment I’m sure for some in the congregation who have had Tony and Louis as their spiritual parents. I went through this as a piece of a congregation and it does hurt but to God be the glory for all the things he’s done, doing and going to do! I’m praying that any heavy heart be lifted to the place where they can participate in this joyful moment with Tony and his new fiance. 🙏🏾💜🕊 Joyful, Joyful Lord, we adore Thee God of glory Lord of love Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee Hail Thee as the sun above….
Congratulations to the lovely couple. I’m happy they both share a common experience because it would be hard for the new wife to understand the need to acknowledge the legacy of the late wife. I’m happy they’ve both found solace in each other. I do wish, however, that they had brought her unto the stage.
My mom passed about 1 year before his wife, their mother. My parents were married for 56 years. I would feel some type of way if my dad remarried knowing how much my parents loved each other. May be a hard pill to swallow, even as an adult child. My dad misses my mom every day, still today. I love Priscilla’s preaching and Tony, Jr’s music ministries. I have loved their ministries before l knew they were siblings, and before l knew who their parents were. The last book the family wrote helped me so much because l went through very similar stages of emotions as they did trying to cope with my mother’s passing.
This gave me so much joy! I never even thought about pastor Evans dating again, but so glad someone ha captured his heart, and that his grown children are standing with him, because the love that have for their mother is so a amazing, but I know they must realize dad still would like to share his life with someone, but not just anyone. It’s not always easy to live what you preach, and in this case it’s the vows of Til death do you part. Congratulations!
I know of someone that married again (2nd marriage) 17 months after husband was killed in a horrific car accident. 3 children under the age of 6, and she was a stay-at-home Mom. She’s now been married 25 years to this 2nd husband, and they have 1 child together. He has/is a blessing to her and to ALL the children.
This blesses my soul. God withholds no good thing from His children and He gives us exactly what we need to do the work He has called ua to do. And such an understandable mention of people being reminded of their grief ober Lois. This was all said so tenderly and with reaoect and care for those who still feel their grief. May God bless their companionship and mareiage.
I am so so happy for you Dr. Tony Evans all thr way from the Bahamas I have listened to you for many years and still do.. It was great to see you still honored the memory of your first wife of many years and did it very Respectfully. Others leaders in the Church and ministry should learn from this. God bless you and your new Fiance soon to be wife. I also admire how you didn’t rush into this, you waited over 4 years and I know it may not have been easy, but you allowed time to grieve and heal and now its time to move on. So God bless!!!
Wow, I just saw this 12 days after and I knew both Robert Crummie and Lois and the Evans family. I’m taken aback because I wasn’t expecting this news, but I am so happy for them. For them it will be a moving forward together and respecting what was. Lois and Robert are in Heaven now happy their mates found love again. Congratulations Pastor Evans and Carla. For some, it will take awile for the emotions to catch up to this blessing. I remember when Robert passed away and I listened to Lois’ funeral.
This is beautiful; I don’t even go to their church and only a follower on YT; Mrs Lois presence in her daughters articles was so regal and I was sad when she passed and watch the funeral online. Blessing to all the family as they go into this happy and sensitive season; May GOD of the Bible keep all of them!!!
Last year in May it was Pastor Tony Evans’s sermon on grief and the other at his wife’s memorial that helped me through the passing of my wife. After a year and a half now, my mind wanders into the world of what next and where to and this announcement gives me hope that one day I won’t have to be so lonely. God Bless you, Dr. Evans. You have helped shine the light twice into my darkness.
God heals our grieves. And in the Grace of God we must be patient with each other, be humble and not to be quick to put our emotions first. This is what his kids are doing, and Dr Evans is also showing humility and sensitivity. What i learned from this is that after our grieves “God heals and God does bring comfort”. It is done in humility so that we can see the mercy of God ❤️❤️❤️
As a faithful follower of Dr. Evans my heart broke for him and this beautiful family when Loise left this world for heaven. I know this had to be hard for the family. I’m thankful that God works on our hearts and helps us to to expand our love beyond what we think. It’s good to see both Dr. Evans and Carla together. I will be praying for clarity and blessings, and that God would make the path straight for unity in love for the family, the ministry and the church. May God bless you bless each of you beyond anything you can think or imagine. ❤👑🙌🏼🕊️✝️🔥💖
Im extremely happy for Pastor Evans. Life is short, and he was a great husband to his lovely wife, Lady Evans, I absolutely loved her. 😊 We all have to live, God commands us to go on. I trust Pastor Evans. If he said God is allowing him to unite with this beautiful lady, I believe him and wish them well! I love his children, and they are all saved, so its going to be alright! God, please continually bless this amazing family. Congratulations to you both! Much Love ❤ Dr.Alretta
He blessed Job for his faithfulness and now He blesses you! Thank you for your faithfulness through it all! You Sir have inspired me to seek Him for a greater relationship, to trust Him more, and to know He is faithful. I cannot adequately express my love for you and your family and how blessed I have been to grow up perusal you on a little black and white antenna TV every week after church. I looked forward to learning how real God is from you i ways my church did not talk about and may not have understood. You kept hope alive for this little girl to grow up and enjoy the wonders of her ABBA. I knew there was more and a lot of that was because of you. And now your family blesses me too. Congratulations Dr. Evans! I could not be more happy for you and your bride to be. God is amazing!! Now if you two pull a Abraham and Sarah I might pass out. But when I come to, I will praise Him all the more!! THANK YOU DR. EVANS. I hope to meet you one day; that is my prayer. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!
I would like to congratulate you on your recent engagement. I have just recently started listening to your sermons on utube and throught them have been uplifted and inspired to continue in my walk with Christ. I don’t easily give praise to man having seen so many pastors fall. It is something about your method of breaking things down. I pray God Riches Blessings upon your new journey. I’ve also followed your daughter and found her preaching inspiring. Through one of your sermons you spoke of the many tragedies you went through and you mention she was your daughter. May your family continue to be Blessed and a Blessing.❤
I commend the widows that endure… I pray for and with all widowers that it will always be GOD’S will to remarry. GOD bless these children and grandchildren that still grieve the absence of the presence of their Mother, the great daughter of GOD Sis Lois Evans. Also, bless Dr Evans to listen to GOD always while continuing to walk in GOD’S will.. Love and prayers to your family 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
👏🏾 To God be the Glory for all his many blessings! 🙌🏾 I’m, so happy for the entire Evans family, and may the Lord continuously bless, and keep all of you, binding you together with cords of love that can not be broken. I commend, and certainly appreciate the spiritual maturity shown by Pastor Tony, and Lois Evans adult children, it’s definitely a testament of being raised in the nurture and admonition of The Lord. 🎉CONGRATULATIONS, AND GODSPEED TO YOU ALL! 🎊
I can’t believe it has been 4years. Wow. Pastor you and your ministry have blessed me beyonds words can express. I started listening to you over 20years ago when I first gave my life to Christ. Your teachings discipled me and gave me a foundation upon which I continue this blessed and faithful walk. I know that Mama Lois was paramount in supporting and helping you in all you have been able to do. Her memory and legacy will live on into eternity. By His grace I hope to meet you one day and say “thank you” in-person. You are doubly blessed to have two beautiful wives by your side at different times. Glory and praise to the most high! ❤☝🏽🙏🏽🕊💐🪨🔥
Watching my lovely wife passed away on the 17th of October 2022 was the worst thing that ever happened to me. Today dated 17th September 2023 marked 11 months since my wife passed. We were married for 15 years and one month before she passed. Unfortunately we didn’t have children. In February 2022,my wife was diagnosed with pancreas cancer and in October 2022 my wife passed away. I am still traumatized and the word happiness is no longer inside of me. People are telling me to move on, my mother in-law is telling me to move on. But it’s really difficult to imagine myself with another woman. After perusal this article, I think it will be easier to be with a partner who had also gone through the healing process of losing a spouse. I need your prayers from anyone who is reading this comment. God bless you.
Pastor Tony Evans a true annointed servant of The Lord God. Thank sir for your Godly interpretation of the Scriptures. My prayer is for you to have a Blessed life in God’s will ..Psalm 138:8The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever–do not abandon the works of your hands.✝️🛡🙏

WOW, this is an amazing🙌 announcement for Dr. Tony! I’ve been a supporter since day one and still have all of the cassettes to prove it! This wonderful announcement and the way in which they connected is just mind blowing to say the least! I am soooo happy for the two of them and I know that GOD is still up to something good with this engagement! Singles, let’s keep hope alive..🙏🙌
Pastor I’ve listened to your podcast for years, and I’ve come away every time feeling uplifted and enlightened. I know the Lord sees the work you do and influence you have. Congratulations on finding love twice in a lifetime! Prayers for you folks! May God continue to bless you, your families, and your ministry.
Pastor Evans, Anthony, Priciilla, Crystal and Jon Jon I am so proud of you how you have allowed us to share this moment with you and your family. The bible says, its not good that man should be alone. I know Our Pastor (your Father) was not lonely because you all were there but he was alone. She is a blessing from GOD to him and i know if mom could see this from Heaven she would’ve sent her blessings to him We ALL will Miss Sis Lois OUR SPIRITUAL MOM. WE love and respect OUR SPIRITUAL DADDY. 🎉WE welcome you Sis Carla into our OCBF KINGDOM FAMILY! CONGRATULATIONS GOD BLESS YOU BOTH! 🎉🎉😊
I pray Gods grace upon this family. Unless you walk through it you dont know the pain of it. Father God bless this family, draw them close to you and closer to one another, heal their broken hearts and mend their wounded spirits. Lord let them see Your light shine so brightly and know that You work all things together for the good. This family has blessed me more than I could ever say and I thank God for them.
Pastor Evans, we Love you, your Beautiful wife that has gone to be with the Lord and your children. I am so Happy!!!! for you and your fiance. When I saw this article of you today introducing your new fiance with your children by your side, my eyes filled with tears of Joy. I was looking at your sermon last week and I was saying to myself,I know his beautiful wife is in heaven with you lord, but I know you are going to bless him with another Beautiful wife that will continue loving him and his children. I will continue keeping everyone in my prayers, Blessings to all of you.🙌🏾🙏🏽❤
Congratulations to you both! I, too, grieved the passing of Lois Evans, such a beautiful, always gracious Lady. I am delighted to know that you have found one another. Helpmates for the work of ministry and for one another. God is indeed Good. May the Lord God Almighty richly bless you as you join hands and become one in HIM. Much love to you and your families!
Carla is an amazing woman and a blessing to so many. I am so very happy for the two of you. As you embark on the path towards marriage, may your love continue to deepen, and may you build a lifetime of cherished memories together. Surround yourselves with loved ones who support and celebrate your union, and let their warmth and joy fuel your wedding preparations. I wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and a strong, everlasting bond. May your future be filled with countless blessings and unforgettable moments.
I could not be more overjoyed for Dr Evans and Ms Crummie and the Evans children! This is how you make an announcement and it is so heartfelt because of the support standing on each side by his children. I have adopted the Evans family as family over the years, Priscilla has always been like a big sister and an great encouragement not because of who she is but how she is, though they may not have known until now (lol). Ms Lois was a mother and woman, of grace and love and still missed today, and this union will be blessed and Ms Lois your footprints and handprinted legacy still and will continue to live on. This family is what family should be, ups and downs, united, thick and thin, united, loss and loss, united, unconditional love, United and standing as one, UNITED. I wish you all the best!!!
Congratulations! So glad that you found someone to continue your journey with in life. I just want to say that I found you Tony in 2020 during COVID when I was searching for preachers to listen to while stranded at home due to COVID and leukemia. From the first sermon I heard you preach, I knew you were my all time favorite. I fell to my knees in worship thanking God & Jesus for finding you. Your sermons have really meant a lot to me. I finally found someone who makes everything click. I cs listen to your sermon and know and see that God has anointed you. I hope that you and Carla have a wonderful life together. You so serve happiness and she has a great man beside her through the rest of her life. ❤
If I would have lost the love of my life in an older age, I wouldn’t have been able to seek after another. My heart would have been his or hers for the rest of my life! I’m sure his kids are uncomfortable with it.. I know I am. He’s too old-why didn’t he just leave it at that? It’s all a little strange and I don’t feel it was Godly. he didn’t need another wife at this time in his life, I’m not trying to be disrespectful but it really doesn’t seem right, I definitely couldn’t do it. His wife was everything to him so we thought because this ain’t proven that true-
This article touched my heart deeply. It’s a reminder that God’s plans are always perfect, even when we can’t see the bigger picture. Dr. Tony Evans and Dr. Carla Crummy’s story is a testament to the promise of new beginnings. May their union be a shining example of God’s love in action, and may they continue to honor the legacies of their late spouses while building a beautiful future together.
Cannot keep the tears back. It is so hard, but can anyone question God? I trust that Dr. Evans’ life is well covered by His mercy and protection. “It is not good that man be alone”, my thought, but I can only pray, since I feel in protective mode. No one can fill Lois’s shoes, nor does she need to. She has her own life, directed by God, to step into as she begins her own journey with this wonderful man. There will always be those who think it too soon, but God’s timing is ultimate, not dictated by days. We all just long for the day of no more tears and joy without measure.
I’m so happy that he does not have to spend the rest of his life alone. Dr. Lois will always be in his heart but he needs someone in his arms and I’m sure that he would have gotten God’s ok and the ok of his loving family. God bless you Dr Evans and I pray that your new relationship will continue to enhance your ministry. You are loved and appreciated for the work that you continue to do for our Father. Congratulations 🎉 you deserve to share such an awesome life with someone to loves you and adds value to you and your ministry. From one of your fans from Trinidad W.I.
