In The Internship, Billy and Nick are salesmen whose company goes bankrupt. They compete to get jobs at Google, where everyone is younger and more tech-savvy. Can these old dogs learn new tricks? The Internship, released by 20th Century Fox, could have worked. It’s a funny premise, and Vaughn and Wilson still had chemistry. But in hindsight, it was obvious there were problems. The filmmakers made a deal with Google to let the company influence how it would be portrayed in the movie.
