Was Camilla At Prince Charles Wedding To Diana?

Diana, Princess of Wales, had 2,500 guests at her July 29, 1981 wedding to Prince Charles. However, when she walked down the aisle with her father Earl Spencer, she looked for Camilla Parker Bowles, her husband’s former girlfriend and later, his second wife. This was not surprising given that Diana famously declared that there were three people in her marriage to Prince Charles, with the third being Charles’ longtime love, Camilla Parker.

Charles’ second wedding was a more subdued event than his internally-watched 1981 wedding to Princess Diana. In April 2005, Prince Charles married Camilla Parker Bowles, a full 35 years after their first marriage. They had a fraught and controversial love story, but they chose to have a civil ceremony. After Diana died in a car crash in Paris a year later, Charles and Camilla married in April 2005.

Charles and Camilla had an affair during their respective marriages, which went public with their rekindled relationship after Diana’s death in 1997. The couple married in April 2005, and Camilla received the title of Duchess of Cornwall. After Queen Elizabeth died on September 11, 2024, Diana wanted to call off the wedding, but her sisters talked her out of it.

Despite marrying Diana Spencer, Charles never got over his former girlfriend, and against all odds, they married on July 29, 1981. The tense lunch scene in The Crown was almost too wild to be true, as Diana was never married to Camilla.

  • Diana was the best mummy. Too bad she died when Harry needed her most. She turned a bad situation into a good thing! People’s Princess shouldve worn a seat belt & she SHOULDVE HAD QUEEN’S SECURITY! Will & Catherine will reign wonderfully! Fergie got kicked out when Randy Andy was doing little girls & seems unfair also. I know Queen was biased to her own. Andrew had daughter’s the same age or older.

  • It would make me VOMIT to see Parker-Bowls become Queen Consort – Queen ANYTHING! What the hell is wrong with her – why didn’t she just STAY AWAY from Charles and leave him alone with HIS WIFE! SHE makes me sick! She was determined to destroy that marriage. I can not stand her! My grandmother was from Scotland – in fact – she looked A LOT like the Queen’s Mom – she was born and raised in the same areas until she moved to Canada at 15 yrs old. She was very much a Monarchist. This entire deal with that fiendish marriage, home wrecking woman would have made her sick! Why didn’t anyone SAY anything to that home wrecker! WHY was she not kept away from Charles? Then Diana would still be alive and maybe they would have had more children – a daughter as beautiful as her mother perhaps. I can’t even stand to LOOK at that trouble making, manipulating witch!

  • She would have been a Wonderful Queen..She is Queen in Heaven..Its Wonderful that the Bright People of England doesnt accept that whats her name as a queen..Diana had always wanted to be the “Queen in Peoples Hearts”,and she really was.. She was empathetic, kind, loving, sweet, beautiful, smart, devoted mother, charming, giving, intelligent, elegant, stylish and most of all a humanitarian…God Bless QUEEN Diana..WE ALL LOVE YOU 🕊🕊🕊
