📹 Brides Go Nearly Naked in The Newest Wedding Dress Trend
More than ever, brides want to look super sexy on their special day, leading to the new trend – the naked bride. #InsideEdition.
We all need a love like she describes.. her face when talking about him, the authenticity of herself and the feelings they share, the fact that they are goofy together and just so in love.. that’s a marriage that’s gonna last.💯 and everyone can cry about that dress, but I know a great deal of you wish you could show that bold weirdo you’re hiding on the inside to the world.
Personally, I’m light years away from understanding the thoughts and emotions that lead to “I want to be naked at my wedding” BUT she doesn’t seem a bad person nor a self centred one, as I have read in many comments… She seems very friendly and I loved how she talked about her fiance 💖 I wish her happines, even thought I believe that one say she’s going to regret her outfit choice. Or mayne not, everyone is different and beautiful in their own way 🙂
“I want a conservative wedding dress” Everyone: doesn’t even flinch “I want to feel sexy and naked” Most people: oh she’s just doing it for attention, she’s not the kind of girl to get married, she should just get married in underwear. U guys… she’s being authentic, saying what she likes and clearly in love head over heels for the man… why so much hate?
I’m sorry but I barfed a little in my mouth when she said “I’m just authentically me all the time”. All the people I’ve met that actually are super special, creative, unique and ‘authentitic’ people have never felt the need to describe themselves as such. That’s usually left to those being out there for attention, not because they are being themselves. But I guess that’s kind of obvious since her repeated reason for the dress is ‘the shock factor’ aka other people’s reaction. Sorry for being so negative that’s how it looks to me.
Aw, it was very touching when she talked about her fiance. I can absolutely relate to that. I’m happily married now for almost 6 years. But when I was younger I dated a number of people who told me I was too much/not enough/needed to change in some way. And the scary thing was, that sometimes I did try to change myself for these people. Lol this is absolutely ridiculous but I remember when I was about 21, I briefly dated somebody who told me I was “too girly”.. and that he liked outdoor girls who wore outdoor clothing and walking boots etc. That is not me at all, I mean I wear casual clothes to walk my dog but that’s about it. I don’t like hiking or anything. But in order to please this guy, I went and spent a small fortune one day at an outdoor clothing store. And wore those clothes and boots when I saw him next. I kind of cringed when I look back at all this now. At the age of nearly 40, I can laugh about the things in the past but it was quite upsetting at the time as I truly had it drummed into me by these people that it was me who was at fault in some way. When I met my husband eight years ago, I realise that actually I was enough just the way I am. And I hope so much that that is the way I make my husband feel too about himself. Any one reading this who feels that they need to change, you really really don’t!!
Ya know what its her wedding, her husband supports it, ultimately its about THEM and THEYRE happy. No one else matters. Is it my type of dress? No. Is my type of dress important? No. Her happiness is whats important and good for her for being so empowered in herself and clearly having a wonderful relationship. She seems so sweet I wish people werent being so judgmental. More power to them 💙
People are so lost and self absorbed. It’s sad to see people overwhelmingly into attention from others but themselves. You see this everywhere online and on social media. People are desperate and willing to do anything too make a name for themselves out of complete bullshit. Media outlets and tv shows will promote this as it definitely gains attention for their shows.
She’s a cutie! I like the idea of a “naked” wedding dress. I’m thinking of the skin tone leotards that singers wear while on tour but just realized she might want something a bit more eye popping since she said she only wants a few parts of her body covered. Either way, I like the idea 🙂 Also, her description of her fiancé was super sweet <3 I like them already!
Sometimes, people want to be different not because they like it.It’s because they wanna feel different and wanna be a something different for people’s sake. It’s not bold man it’s just stupid. Just be yourself.U could see by her face that she is doing it to show people not for herself.Btw,it’s not feminism either
Hun if you want shock value…. Than with everyone that knows you, and understands you will be shocked if you wore a traditional dress that’s sexy and unrevealing. But no judgement here, cause your very beautiful and if you want to show off what God gave you. That’s what you do.wish you the best. Congrats to you and your soon to be Husband.
I love the traditional dresses I mean these aren’t bad dresses just better for a wedding in a strip club than a church. Like REALLY people! Think of the dress that you will want your kids to see when their older. They don’t want to see their mother half naked. What’s next, the dad in black tux pants?!?
“I think the days of a bride wanting to wear her mothers dress is totally out the window and this is case in point” Literally the last article I watched was the story about the bride getting married in the dress that has been used by brides in her family for 120 years (11 weddings). So I found this comment pretty funny. Needless to say, the dress was quite a different style to the ones in this article.
I think that the dresses look nice and all, and a women should wear whatever she wants since it is her body. Though, I personally wouldn’t wear one just because there’ll be friends, family, extended family, and the groom’s as well and I would be embarrassed tbh. Either, a bride should wear what she wants on her special day
I am happy. I was expecting more flames in the comment section. I am pleased to see that the majority understand it’s a trend. That they showed what?…5 dresses on the thousands available at Kleinfeld. They even admit it’s for a very special kind of bride. That the dresses can be lined. It’s clearly for the show.
my step mother wore one of these for her wedding, she had a bikini under it because we were having the wedding at the beach. I honestly dont see nothing wrong with it, I can understand if its for like a church wedding. But something like a beach wedding? Its completely fine. I dont get all of the fussing.
First off I think you can wear those dresses On a honeymoon only Second of all If you want everyone at your wedding to remind you of this and be mad and embarrassed at yourself go ahead and buy it 3rd what happens if the dress is made out off really cheap fabric and breaks before the wedding day because some companies do that Finally A wedding is not a STUPID STRIP CLUB
I could kind of understand if women had a tasteful classy wedding dress to wear in front of their family and friends during the wedding itself, and than a skanky wedding dress to wear just for your husband when you go to “consummate” the marriage, but who wears something like that when their father walks them down the isle? I mean do what you want, but i imagine that would be awkward as fuck..
Cringe worthy. Why is everything sexualized, it’s bad enough in day to day living but when you making your vows. No just no. You can be a strong and confident woman without being almost naked on your wedding day or anytime. It’s what is on the inside. It’s so wrong on so many levels. Can you imagine all the men at the wedding and after thinking crude thought about you if you catch my drift. Yuk this should not be encouraged.
I was scared to scroll down into the comments section because I already knew what it would look like. Of course it looked like I thought it would. Congrats everyone: you don’t like it, you don’t buy it. Let the bride wear whatever she wants to her wedding tough, it’s none of your business and leave her alone.
stupid trend 😒🔫 seriously why?! ama waiste 4,000 on a one time use dress…how does that go thru ur mind if it gets dirty u can’t wash it! It leaves nothing to the imagination and im sure most guest will be uncomfortable. yhea its ur day but im sure once ur older u will see pictures and regret it. idk i hate it
