A wedding house party is an additional group of family or close friends that a couple wishes to honor but cannot include in their wedding party due to their size. This Southern tradition allows a bride with many friends to include all their loved ones in her special day. The house party may help with setting up or decorating the venue, or participate in the portrait session after the ceremony. The couple may ask for different configurations of wedding party members for family and friends.
A wedding party is an extension of the bridal party, which includes the bride and groom, their closest friends and family members, and sometimes extended relatives. A prenuptial agreement can protect assets and interests, such as retirement or education funds, property owned at the time of marriage, and property interests of children from previous relationships.
The house party is just as much a part of the wedding party as the bridesmaids, participating in all of the same wedding festivities as the bridesmaids. They also receive a small gift from the bride as thanks for helping with the wedding.
A wedding dream can signify new beginnings, spiritual renewal, or growth. The interpretation of a dream depends on the individual dreamer and their personal life and beliefs. Bars at the wedding reception are crucial, with many couples allocating at least 20% of their total wedding budget to ensure guests and the party have plenty of drinks. Daytime weddings are more casual, with lighter fabrics, festive colors, and less-formal attire. Women should wear a nice daytime dress, skirt, top, or jumpsuit, while men should wear a well-tailored suit in a mid-to-dark neutral color.
The wedding house party is an additional group of family or close girlfriends created when a bride has a large group of friends who cannot fit everyone in the bridal party. The house party is just as much a part of the wedding party as the bridesmaids, participating in all of the same wedding festivities. House party members can be as involved in wedding duties as the bride wants them to be, and they may or may not assign day-of tasks or have them help in various aspects of the wedding.

Name 5 brothers right now. huge shoutout to all the brothers at KDR JMU for having me DM me on Instagram …
I’m extremely militant about party planning. My son’s 6th birthday ran like clockwork…IN MY STUDIO APARTMENT IN BROOKLYN WITH 50 or so guests moving in and out. I wrote everything down and even sketched out my apt to see where tables and seating would be the best feasible and comfortable for all guests. Everyone had a blast. I had three playlists in heavy rotation, food was all cooked by me with pizza for the kids, cake, etc. I started planning piece by piece at the beginning of the month and the day of, I picked up cake and my son and I took our time to get dressed. Oh did I mention it was a black panther themed party. It was BOMB!!
First of all this is amazing advice. I’ve been to several of your natural hair events and StyleQueue, etc. and when I tell you they have ALL been on point!! I love hosting events but I do always take your advice that you gave on your baby shower vlog, which is never be late to your own event, and always be ready before your guests arrive. Thanks Vaughn!! 😘😘
Hi beautiful, Thank you so much for sharing these amazing tips Such great advice 1. Plan 2. Delegate 3. Punctuality 4. Have Start and End Times Thank you for sharing these wonderful tips. I’m sure all your parties are very successful from all of these tips Enjoyed perusal. Great informative information about throwing parties at your home .
HEY FRIEND HEY!!! I’m here!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Planning events is in your blood. I remember when you and Meechy had an event here in Atlanta and the venue lost their liquor license. Yall grabbed the spot next door, which was a pub or something and we still had an amazing time!!! LOL, the GOOD OLE DAYS!!! Love you FRIEND and thanks for the TIPS!
Hi, hope your well and before I say anything else thank you for the time and effort you put into creating and sharing with us! I’m not a homeowner (yet) but I feel like these tips (or any of your tips) are so helpful because you are so organized and I can relate to a lot of the things you say (I mean they just make sense). By the way, your party looked like a success, and I would probably get super anxious having people all over the place but then you raised a point regarding the fact that the people you invite are people that you really connect with and to some extent trust enough to be all up in your space. It’s these inferences, gems that you’ll drop and they’re just so good. So, once again, thanks for this!
Nothing crazy about being militant or “crazy” over having people at your house (no matter big or small) you just want ORDER. Lol! You can tell when people are not planned and have a kickback at the last minute..it’s fun but there’s long empty pauses and its awkward for guest. I love these tips! Have a great week, Vaughn!
Hi, there was was to much talk on being ready before guest arrived and I would of liked to hear more about how you prepared and put out the food at the serving tables. Thanks for sharing your Housewarming party looked great and you did a great job as well as your family, friends and people that helped you. GOD BLESS.
This was SUPER helpful❣️ I’m hosting adverse because of the pressure. The delegation component was EVERYTHING. This alleviated a lot of anxiety, but how do you ensure that your guests feel entertained? The dj is great, but what else? Oh yeah, is there a dining schedule or courses? Sorry for so many questions, hosting makes me neurotic. 🤪
Girl, I had people show up TWO HOURS before a party before. We were still setting up and they had the nerve to complain about things not getting ready. So I told them if they wanted it set up, they could get off their butts and help. I’ve never again thrown a party. That was way too stressful. Youre a champ.
so i live in an apartment (it’s very similar to a townhouse. No neighbors above or below me, but hey are NEXT to me on both sides), and even though i’ve never gotten complaints for my speakers, i’m scared that this birthday gathering i’m having in a couple weeks will cause the neighbors to complain. It’s not even because of the music, but because we’re black… so we’re loud lmao. Do you have any suggestions? At the very least, any suggestions to relieve my anxiety about this?
