What Does The Bible Say About Rejection In Marriage?

The Bible addresses rejection in various forms, emphasizing the importance of not taking rejection personally and not taking it personally. It emphasizes that marriage is a covenant relationship between a man and a woman, and once chosen, it is no longer up for debate.

The Bible states that marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled. It is important to accept the truth that God can use your hurts to help others, encouraging one another and building each other up. The Lord never heals us of rejection just for ourselves; it’s our duty to reach out to the hurting people around us and share how we’ve been healed.

Rejection is not defined or ordained by mankind, and the government, culture, and sentiment do not define marriage. Love in a marriage has the power to overcome conflict and prevent it from escalating. Proverbs 10:12 states that hate stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.

The Bible does address homosexuality, but it does not explicitly mention gay marriage/same-sex marriage. However, it condemns homosexual sex as an immoral and unnatural sin. A pattern of rejection is dangerous to a marriage, as it gives the wife a great deal of power over her husband’s heart.

The Bible does not specifically say anything about putting your spouse first, but it instructs us to value others above. In humility, God loves you unconditionally, and it is not your fault, and you are not unworthy because your spouse rejects you. From experience, those who reject you are not unworthy.

In conclusion, the Bible encourages us to forgive those who reject us, pray for them, and trust in God’s plan for us.

This is why rejection hurts so much. Our brains respond similarly to rejection and physical pain. Tylenol eases the pain of rejection. In a study testing the idea that rejection is like physical pain, researchers gave some participants acetaminophen (Tylenol) before asking them to recall a painful rejection experience. People who took Tylenol reported less emotional pain than those who took a sugar pill. Psychologists think that the link between rejection and physical pain is because…

But if she does leave him, let her remain single or else be reconciled to him. And the husband must not leave his wife. *Obviously, separation is not something we should just jump into. Its very serious, and should be avoided whenever possible. There are times, though when it becomes needed, and these are theexception, not the rule.In these cases, we shouldnt be looking to find a “better option” in someone else, but to find a way to reconcile the marriage if possible. *If a Therapeutic Separation is possible, its the best option! • Amen 🙏 I had something happen this week and it was a test from God. I was treated as if I’m crazy because I talk to God and Him to me. Ended up in a psych ward and God prevailed. He protected me while in there, as I was under constant spiritual attack and God got me through. The world tried to reject me and regardless, I ended up going home. Amen and Praise God 🙏💯🤠🇦🇺🙏

  • My struggles have brought me closer to God. Even though I have fallen on hard times I will still praise JESUS. As a christian that’s what we are supposed to do. God gives me strength. I will continue to be a proverbs 31 women, I will only pursue the wisdom of GOD instead of the wisdom of this world. My husband passed away. I’m a single mother. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital over declining the vaccine, I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide ever since. I can’t seem to get back on my feet. I’m struggling financially, desperately trying to support my two autistic children and myself. Groceries and gas prices are outrageous. I’m now waitressing, and I’m so thankful but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. Every month is a struggle not to end up on the streets with my two boys. But I keep faith in God, no MATTER WHAT. I know he will provide. He has this far. Amazingly ever month GOD SHOWS UP. He is the God of Possible. Please keep me and my children in your prayers.

  • I’m rejected for being a single mom. Doing the work, raising my son has been challenging. No car so I ride the bus. It’s a race after work..always get to church late. I get home an hour after church. No time to eat/ just prepare for work and sleep. I cdnt go to every service. Some people at church say Why haven’t I been there? Working to provide for my son. If they aren’t at church..I believe they are doing something they need to do. I feel shunned, doubted. I had a fall..pain I keep praying is healed. I ve met other believers..prayer and love were given.

  • This is so true. I was at a job for 14 years and I felt like I needed to leave but I wouldn’t go because I was comfortable. I got fired last year and I was devastated. BUT GOD… put me in a better job with an amazing boss and I make more money. I have met some good people and couldn’t imagine if I had never left my old job I would have never met them. Glory to God 🙏🏽❤️ Thank you Jesus 🤗

  • 14 months ago my unsaved ex, said that we are to separate, after a 34 yr long marriage. We were both unhappy and his actions were coersive to put it mildly, and got worse during the covid crap too. I moved back to my hometown and am relieved and growing again in Christ by leaps and bounds. Rejection hurt, but I’m able to serve the Lord now! Better to live alone than be put down! Thank you Lord ❤

  • My husband and 2 teenagers don’t want to to be in my life my husband and I are separated I had to leave it was toxic for me and my children they. Choose to not live with me until we go to court. Please 🙏 pray for all of us. I love the Lord and I have no regrets it saved my life. I fell in love with Jesus and I know I am Loved .

  • THIS IS SO TRUE!!!! God knew me, God knows me. He knew I wouldn’t leave when he told me to gently and he gave me opportunities but it took rejections and firings and pain and trauma at times for me to obey and go where I was meant to go!!! The goal is discernment and discipline. Awareness and obedience. To know and trust God when he tells me to go gently, so he does not have to repeat himself and I can obey and receive my blessings, gifts and what he has planned for me. My listening to him to go and his opening doors for me have become more clear over the years. Less tears and trauma for me to walk through scary seeming doors. I walk through the valley of the shadow of death and God is my shepherd. He leads me and makes me lie down in green pastures. ♥️ he is my rock and fortress. My truth and light. My everlasting God. My love and my savior. My holy redeemer PRAISE THE LORD ALMIGHTY! The Lord God almighty who has great plans for me. Who knows me by name. Who knit me in my mothers womb. The Lord God who provided a way for me to live. To have eternal life with him. He sent his only son to die a torturous death, so that I could eat noodles and cry about my life. What a good God. A gift I do not deserve yet he gave it to me. My merciful God. My loving and most gracious God. He sets a table for me in the presence of my enemies oh, my God. My Good God. My God. My holy and eternal God. My thanks could never be enough. My gratitude never to fulfill God, who fulfills me with his grace.

  • Thank you Pastor Vlad. This has been my testimony many times over. What looked like rejection was actually God pushing me forward. I would not be anywhere near where I am today without the “rejections” that I’ve experienced. I am stronger and healthier than I’ve ever been. The rejection and pain of the forward movement was excruciating at times but I can honestly say that it’s been worth it all. I am not where I need to be “yet” but I continue to partner with God for the stamina and strength, physically and spiritually, to push through to victory. I pray that what I’ve said here will encourage someone today. In Jesus name.

  • Rejection hurts. I was rejected from my family too and it drove me away from them and i isolated myself from them for a long time but now I am healing through a healing ministry treatment centre. I am finding true acceptance through God and I know he is gonna use me to help my family to overcome that because there stuck in addiction and shame. In there comfort zone but it’s not what God wants for them. Thank you Lord!

  • I got rejected twice at a work place I really wanted to work at. Rejection is so painful. In my thinking I want to work at that work place to go another but that just doesn’t want to happen. Perhaps I will just go straight to the actual place. I am trusting God🙏🙏. Pray for me brtohers and siter. Thank you Pst Vlad. God bless

  • This was so good. Over a year ago, I faced rejection from the woman I thought I was going to marry. At the time, it was one of the worst feelings I ever went through. But, God helped me to heal from that loss. I prayed for restoration, and I never gave up on finding my future wife. Now, fast forward to this year, God completely restored that area of my life, and I met a brand new woman who I know is the woman that God has sent. She and I have received confirmation after confirmation, and we both have the Spirit’s peace. Rejection is God’s re-direction and protection! 100%.

  • Oh My Good God in Heaven… Vlad you are speaking to my soul.. the Lord is through you anyway.. so Thank you for being faithful to Him.. He knows what His people need to hear right now.. and it’s flowing through you Brother in Christ ❣️ May God Bless you in your day today as you have blessed me today! Thank you❣️💕✝️🛐🕊️🛡️⚔️🕊️

  • Having a tough day getting over my ex girlfriend and her moving on so quickly. After perusal this and reflecting I realized towards the end in the final season of our relationship it was pain and hurt. I was only growing further from God in the final season and he pulled me from it. After hearing this I realized it was for the best. Thank your for sharing Gods wisdom! Praise Jesus!

  • I got fired wrongfully from the church I had grown up in since 2003, and worked on staff at since 2019. It was painful and sudden. I showed up one day and was accused and betrayed. Thrown out like trash like Joseph. Then God placed me at a new job at another Christian organization that had an open position at the perfect timing. I kept claiming His word over my life “I have been young and I have been old and I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread.” HE IS SO FAITHFUL! Thank You God for my new job. Also, I would not have left unless I had been thrown out. I was too comfortable always being there. But I was also so convicted because the church was straying from solid doctrine in horrible ways. The pastors started preaching that hell isn’t a real place. They didn’t believe in the inerrancy of scripture.

  • I look back at my life and those painful experiences that God used them in His faithfulness and wisdom to redirect me to Him. And because those experiences led me to my redemption I in a sense feel that God has redeemed my past too. Your past is redeemed when you can make peace with it, right….like when you see His purposes in those painful memories I feel God has redeemed my past. This has led me see Him as my Redeemer too . I can so relate to this article

  • I think it maybe time for me to go… Not sure if I should stay and build or leave. At moments this does feel like torment. I wanted this to be the city, but it is beginning to feel like my captivity. Living homeless on the streets while doing the Lord’s work. The body knows I am here, but none have reached to help. They watch, but don’t see. They hear, but don’t listen. They are waiting for me to pull myself up and out of the situation. All for the sake of completing prophecy of Daughter Zion being left desolate.

  • Amen lol you make it very plain but also great insights. I have definitely faced rejection in my life. One parent and my siblings rejected me. I still have the other parent. But it is hard. It sucks. I know God meant it for good. I needed protection and redirection from the toxicity. Shaking off the dust and looking to the hills for my help.

  • My husband had been sick a long time, (lungs) in July he suddenly died. His lungs don’t appear to be issue. I had been hired for a new job before, they delayed the start for 6 weeks. Long story short my sales mgr made horrible accusations and lied to HRwhich couldn’t be undone. Yes, God protected me, it was a toxic place. I am seeking God in my pain.

  • Watching this articles reminds me when I was rejected by my old boss I was really comfortable at that job and I finally quit and a few months later I ended up getting a way much better job and less back braking job and in town gods graces is so beautiful I’ve been seeing he’s miracles all the time thank you lord ❤

  • This is so good. My boyfriend and I recently broke up because the Holy Spirit revealed that he was unfaithful to me. I know he loved me, but that spirit of lust he struggled w for so many years would not allow him to be in a Godly relationship w a Godly girl. I know God is turning this breakup around for my good. Protecting me from further heartache and preparing me for my future husband. THANK YOU JESUS!!

  • Ezekiel 18:21\r But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.\r \r 2 Corinthians Chapter 10\r 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds\r \r 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;\r \r All Glory be to God Himself that through His redeeming Grace we who are born again and granted repentance unto life by God the Father will be able to turn away from all of our sins the very things His Son died to save us from and also tear down all those evil demonic strongholds.

  • I couldn’t agree more. The best part about my case of rejection was that i was rejected by my family members and even when i was an atheist the one who accepted me was Jesus. It was impossible for me as an atheist to actually believe that it was Jesus who was helping me. But with time I got way too many proofs to witness Jesus helping me. So just imagine when an atheist like me can come to Jesus, why can’t believers keep their faith strong? Dear brothers and sisters, you lovely people are the reason why I became a holy person in the name of Jesus. You’re more than a family to me🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺. Please take me as an inspiration and NVER STOP SERVING JESUS. NO MATTER WHAT THE POPULAR OPINION SAYS, KEEP REPENTING OF SINS AND PRAY DAILY. Amen

  • I’ve dealt with alot of rejection. It never tickles, but gets easier to handle as time goes on. I got used to it. I’ve also had people treat me like absolute dirt. God makes my enemies to rise up against me, so how can I hate them? I can’t. I hate God…lol. Just kidding. Jesus is the best friend I ever had. He’s used some extremely painful situations to strengthen me, too. I can handle alot more than I could years ago, and not say anything to anyone about the person that rejected me or even was out to destroy me.

  • Yesterday, i post a youtube link of Pastor Vlad, which talk about is Yoga demonic? to my whatsapp story. Then one of my close friend, she replied with, “Are you ok? 😀 Now you are look like a Preacher or something bcause you often share about this staff and so. Then i replied her “There are still many people dont know how dangerous Yoga is, many ppl still join Yoga class. Then she said “It is only Yoga, and you take it too far. You’re seems so FANATIC”

  • I was born a Muslim in Iraq. I was worried and depressed, sitting and looking at the Tigris River in my city.Jesus’ face appeared to me in the water and told me. “Son, you’re not alone” And now I’m a Christian, and I pray every day at the edge of the river.Thank you Jesus for this grace. I’m not alone right now. Jesus is with me.✝🙏💖💖🙏🙏

  • I have been rejected many times by those I love dearly, professionally, emotionally and spiritually and I feel used in many ways. Last night I got to a point of wanting to leave my current church because of rejection. I love God but I am slowly losing interest in attending church because of so many issues. I feel far from everyone and I thought I was the one with the problem but this sermon makes a lot of sense. I was busy looking for healing of the heart and i have no doubt God led me to this sermon. I am emotional and overjoyed right now because I know I am delivered 😭😭. When I heard the first part of her testimony I paused the article to breakdown a bit. Then I continued this morning and my heart is full😭😭🫂🫂. May the Lord keep elevating you woman of God this message is 4 months old but I think God had me in mind when He gave this to you. Thank you for sharing your story. I have so many take away notes from this message.

  • I am a man and I watched this “ladies” article . . . and it was excellent. It’s not woman’s issue. It was an excellent message and so true! I am on the backside of rejection and failure, only be thankful for it all! It truly is the substance that drives us to the Lord and into our strength in Him. Rejection is God’s divine navigation for our development and blessing! Hallelujah! Praise Jesus!!!

  • As someone who was rejected by her parents and who had a generational curse of rejection on her and had a demon of rejection cast out of her, I admit the title of this message triggered me. But YT suggested it to me and I don’t believe in coincidences. I’ve recently been contemplating why I had to go through what I went through. It seems so unfair. But yes, God always has a plan and He has more than made up for all the suffering. The scripture I cling to is Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Amen!

  • Hey Nora. I know, by listening to this message, that God was anointing you. I too was extremely neglected, rejected, abandoned and abused by my parents and most of my family. I was abandoned in a psychiatric hospital when I was 11 and then taken into the foster care system. I have been “tending sheep” uninvited to be apart of what my family thought was godly living. Little do they know that in every jail, hospital and prison they abandoned me in I got anointed, by good, to perform work and witnessed the Holy Spirit change lives through my speaking and singing. Now they are suffering Gods avengment and they are still unwilling to humble themselves. I wash my hands of it. Rejection has left enormous scars on my emotions that God, the Father is trying to heal but it’s hard for me to connect to a loving Father or parent or uncle or aunt or anyone really loving me. I have no point of reference to ever being truly loved. I want to be satisfied with Gods love and stop dancing in circles performing out of fear of abandonment or rejection. Im currently living in a home for homeless women because I have nowhere else to go. My family have many house a piece but they allow me to be homeless. God is angry at them for the way they have treated me because they’ve done it while quoting scripture and “.teaching me about God”. It’s time for me to look upward and stop looking backwards or at other people. I’m in the process of answering that call from God. Thank you for your honesty and your boldness.

  • “You do not need anyone’s favor if you have God’s” wow wow wow wow this word is absolutely amazing I’ve never heard anything like this. Usually when people talk about rejection they just tell you how to get over it without ever acknowledging or validating the pain of rejection. This is full of empathy full of love and validation. This word will push through to the next level! This is straight from the Throne of God.

  • The lord is my shepard i shall not want He maketh me lie down in green pastures He leadth me beside still waters He guideth me in the path of righteousness For his name sake ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil For thou art with me Thy rod and thy staff comfort me Thou preparest a table in the presence of my enemies My cup runneth over Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life And I will dwell in the house of the lord forever I am so happy I memorized this scripture when I was young! It helped a lot. It helped me experience the peace of God! ❤

  • The Lord accidentally had this message start when I wasn’t expecting it. I had never heard of you until tonight and I truly believe this was a miracle! Free me from rejection so that I can be free in Jesus name! Thank U for the healing I received tonight. Pray for my company so that I can use the profits to open up more treatment programs and homeless shelters. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  • I was only 5 minutes into this sermon when the tears started coming. God is so good and so strategic I really needed to hear this word today and God knew that. On this exact date last year I experienced rejection having to relive that pain and hurt has been overwhelming to say the least. After being rejected I still continued for a couple of more months to cling on to this person who wasn’t “assigned” until I decided it was time to choose me and that’s exactly what I did. All of the glory and honor goes to God for that because I truly couldn’t have left if it wasn’t for him showing me time after time who the person was. That heartbreak changed the trajectory of my life in so many different ways that I can’t even begin to explain. God has been so faithful and such a blessing in my life during this time. Thank you so much for this word🫶🏽

  • I have watched this 2 times back to back I have had the hardest time suffering from rejection since my father rejected me when I was a child. This message has gave me so much relief in my heart and has given me a new understanding of what rejection really is. I realized my misinterpretation of rejection has allowed me to accept so many things, and people that wasn’t assigned to me people that made me feel broken, damaged, ashamed, and fearful of losing things and connections I thought I had but I ended up losing me because I was holding on to what wasn’t assigned to my life and this message restored my strength. This message gave me the courage to accept rejection and know that any rejection is designed by God to protect me to walk into my purpose. I am so thankful for this message and pray that those of us that have faced rejection or have made the rejection of others make us feel less worthy never misinterpret rejection again and instead understand that the rejection is Gods protection and that it was meant to be for our purpose to be fulfilled❤️

  • Appentlly I was rejected from birth… I agree with you, rejection I suffered become my protection. I worked with organisation where nobody knew me at all, and God positioned into a higher level in my place of work… I met big people and today I says look at what God has done…God assigned men and women as my destiny connector’s.

  • This is my story too, the black sheep, the “IT” child, rejected from birth. In 4th grade, when my teacher asked me what I want to be when I grew up, my first thought was I’m not going to live that long. I thought there was no recourse for this type of rejection. Thank You for inspiring Faith and Hope… For sharing the Blessing💕🙏🏽

  • Great word. Thanks for sharing. Rejection truly does make one question many things about themselves, and after a couple of years of searching myself to find what was wrong with me, I began to see my value comes from God not people. I drew closer to God and let go of that friend of many years. I released all resentment, and left with harmony in my heart. I have moved on.

  • I can relate so much to her testimony. I know rejection better than I know most people. I have never had a friendship that I didn’t have to work hard to keep and I have never been in any relationship that I wasn’t the one holding it together. I’ve been discarded so much I’m numb to it. Oh but God! Hallelujah I am accepted in the beloved and FINALLY I accept myself and I have and value the only relationship that I can never be discarded from, The one I have with the Triune God!

  • I absolutely loved this sermon. I’m so happy that this great woman was born to give this sermon etc. with that said, Let me tell you something and I’ve been saying this for years. When a women (or man) tells you that they don’t want to have kids, or they don’t want anymore kids believe them!! Stop asking people to have kids when they don’t want them. Stop telling people that they won’t have anyone to care for them when they get older if they don’t have kids!!! Stop telling people that they won’t leave a legacy if they don’t have kids ( when they are telling you and showing you that they do not want kids. The reason is when people don’t want kids and they have kids they abuse them, they sell them for sex, they overlook them being molested by spouses, they abandon them, and they take their kids lives. Look at the head lines, everyday we see parents killing all of there kids and then sometimes turn the weapon on themselves. Many of those people were not just mentally ill. Instead many of those people never wanted kids!! They toss them off bridges, strap them into cars seats and drive them into rivers, they shot them, stab them and place them refrigerators. It’s pitifully. Yes I get the point of this sermon and I love it. But I would be remiss to not speak on the exact reason why it’s important to not force people to have children if they don’t want children.

  • This happens to me with people who have College Degrees.. I did not complete my degree but I have strong background in Finance. I worked in banking for years and sold Investments. This experience made a Huge impact on my life. So now when I look at the life of others dangling that achievement in my face, which is great, some of their financial lives are in shambles. It’s not because of student loans, it’s because of poor management and ignorance. I pushed my children to get their degrees but they have been told not to look down on others who don’t have a degree or whatever they have.

  • I needed to hear this! Praise God from whom all blessings flow..I was so burnt out from rejection from family..friends…clients…Facebook followers..people who watch me workout at the gym..I was at my wits ends and was ready to take my life almost exactly two years from when I tried it last…and I’m so thankful for Sarah Roberts and Nona Jones…peace and blessings!

  • Oh my God, when you said rejection is the oxygen you breathed I instantly knew that you experienced similar things I did. I was rejected my my ENTIRE family. God started molding me at 11, living in a battered women’s shelter because I had no where else to live. Thank you for this message. Thank you God, for giving this message through her beautiful words that touched my soul. ❤

  • I was looking for a PBS series, when YouTube suggested a song that spoke of finding peace in a breakup. The next article was this. I have never heard of Mrs. Jones. I am now subscribed. God spoke so loudly through her to me! I feel a sense of freedom and purpose that I have NEVER felt before! God is good always, and people like her who let His word flow through them are a true blessing! May God heal all our wounds and show us His never-ending Grace. ❤

  • Hallelujah, thank you Lord Jesus. You never rejected me, but You knew me before I was formed in my mother’s womb. Thank You Lord Jesus for Loving me, when others rejected me, You didn’t and I am stronger for it. Thank You Lord Jesus, I am not a mistake. You wanted me born and I am free, because of You. Thank You Lord Jesus, thank You.

  • Hey Nona, I know this is 6 months ago but I needed this. Your message hits so hard. I always feel like I’m always alone. Keep thinking nothing goes well & what is it to live for? Since a harsh breakup, the amount of judgement being said by my ex, hits me hard where I feel like Idk myself because I’m a failure where being rejected is because I’m the problem. Turns out, what you said was correct. God spoke to through your message. The people I didn’t see it coming are actually searching for me. I found them. Since the breakup, I got a job that offers better pay, better culture in the company, have a group of friends who are genuinely treated you like a human. Crying while listening to this. I needed this prayer. Thank you, so much. God bless you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  • This is Excellent Teaching!!! Leave (close the door, reject, resist) that rejection and Stand Firmly on Every Word God Says about You and Every Thought God has of You. Rejection can make You bitter if You don’t open it or can be a gift of Better if You do open it. Rejection is the training ground for Your Purpose. There will either be Attached People (in a relationship with you to benefit themselves (take from You) and then will leave. Do not give them Your Energy, let them walk away and watch them be Your audience when You reach Your Blessings Divine Destiny) or Assigned People (in a relationship with You to greatly add lasting contribution in helping to push You into Your Destiny (and should be contrariwise, mutual, reciprocated). The Gift of Rejection: Positions You for Purpose. Reveals peoples true selves (character) and their roles in Your destiny. Anchors Your Identity and Character in becoming exactly who God uniquely called You to be. Draws You nearer to God. Rejection can help You Gain Destiny Access to the Right People and Things. BE FREE IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!!! TGBTG God Bless

  • I really needed this. My boyfriend left me a month ago and I am so broken. Do not understand how he could not love me as I loved him. This week I started feeling very lonely. Thank you very much for your message❤ This article kept on popping up and I finally decided to listen. God bless. From 🇿🇦 South Africa

  • Your story sounds so much like mine. My mother married a man…who molested me from 5 to 8. She had mental issues as well…she also abused me physically..Mentally and Emotionally she spit on me and told me she wished that I died instead of Keith my little sister who died at 3…I was a damaged individual…But God still had His hand on my life. I remember at 10 or 11 being locked in the celler…it was dark and cold. I CRIED OUT TO THE LORD…AS I SAT ON A METAL BUCKET…AND A BLANKET OF WARMTH AND A DIM LIGHT APPEARED AROUND ME. GOD IS REAL!!! I was Rejected very early..Never knew my Father. But through that rejection…it made me a better Mother and Grandmother. It made me more vigilant. God has restored me as a different type of soul..To God Jesus and the Holy Spirit…They get all of the Glory and Honor and Praise!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

  • WOW!! THANK YOU FATHER GOD FOR GIVING ME THIS article! I KNOW YOU ARE WITH ME & YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I NEED TO HEAR!! & WHEN! HALLELUJAH I RECEIVE BELIEVE EVERY WORD. KNOW IT’S SO!! I PRAISE YOU EVERYDAY DAY IN DAY OUT IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME I’M AM FREE, I AM FREE I AM FREE THE BEST MESSAGE YOU COULD OF PUT IN FRONT OF ME. THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME ❤️ 🙏 💙 🙌🤲🤚 REJECTION TO PURPOSE. I KNOW YOU’VE HAD THESE PEOPLE REJECT ME. IT’S SO PASS TIME TO FOR NEW BEGINNINGS. IT IS SO DONE SAYS THE LORD HALLELUJAH

  • What an awful way to grow up I dealt with rejection as a lot of us do from our parents and while it was nowhere near as bad as yours and it’s pretty amazing you came through that so well, I understand the rejection and trying to fill it with people that could care less about you finding the same people that treat you the same way as your parents.

  • So this message kept popping up on my suggested articles, after I decided to open it today, Let’s just say I cried the whole sermon, funny how the Holy Spirit directs you to the right message at the right time. Rejection forces you to look for greater power and love, which is God Himself. we thank God for this message, Love from South Africa

  • You’ve reached me sister in Christ! Amen ❤🎉Amen I no longer am going to feel rejected when that’s all I’ve also felt all my life even after my husband of 23 years had left me and turned our children against me made me feel the same way as if I’m not worthy and needed. So this message spoke volumes to me. Thank you 🙏 it’s not a mistake coming across this tonight! ❤

  • Hallelujah continue to walk with Christ for in these days consider it an honor to be alone because so many are walking the Path of the enemy and destruction. Consider yourself on the Narrow Road which is where every child of GODDDD wants to be. Keep your head up my sister keep pressing forward and no that you are not alone and that there many others walking the Narrow Road as well.

  • I am so glad this is finally posted! I had the honor to being at this conference and let me tell you. This was by far my favorite night and you were the most impactful to me. It changed my life and I related to this so much. I cried through out the whole message lol. Thank you for your power of preaching and the prayer at the end. You are an incredible woman.❤❤

  • This message came to my feed, like three times, since yesterday, I keep ignoring it. Today, once again on my feed, I decide to listen to it. My God😭! On the 14:00, it’s like she is telling my story. Actually, I’m in a bad state of mind, I pray that God heal my heart🙏🏽. I deserve to be happy, I can’t take this weight anymore… stay blessed Ma, the Lord knows how much we needed to hear this🙌🏽. Thank you❤️

  • My God, Nona I needed this very message this evening. It resonates with me as I’m being rejected at home, my relationships, church and work. I know that God is rearranging things gif my good!!! Rejection is indeed a redirection with a blessing on the very end of it!!! As you stated I’ve have rejection turn around and be a blessing for me!!! Thank you 🙏

  • I was feeling so empty and so alone after being rejected two hours ago for holding the standard of God. I was ok with it but I was still hurting. I will be real I still feel the ache, but I hear God in this message that ‘randomly’ popped up, and in my Pastor’s message today. Whatever it is, God is helping me to get ready. That gives me hope, even though I still feel tired and hurt and like I need a little cry. Bless the Lord.

  • Such a good sermon. I’ve never really cried before while perusal sermons, but for this one. This one touched my heart, only God knows what I’ve been struggling with lately and at times, often i do feel alone and rejected just by life and i try my hardest to keep the faith and continue but i be feeling so discouraged and unworthy. But thank God, I came across this. Only Jesus knows, my heart and how much fear i have and just wanting to control things…but i pray right now to let it go and trust. Trust in God, trust that i am loved, worthy, enough & God’s rejection is his redirection. It doesn’t define me. It’s a long journey of self love for me, but I’m determined to continue and feel Gods love and comfort over my life. Jeremiah 29:11 ❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🤍

  • An hour before this article randomly popped up on my feed I wrote in my diary that I was feeling: confused, rejected, heartbroken, stuck and depressed. Overall lonely and I read Psalms 23 this morning. Thank you God for this message when I needed it the most. I now understand that rejection is simply the training ground for my purpose. The devil will not win. I am free. Amen. Amen. Greatness is my destiny.

  • Nora, I know that this message was intended for women, but as a man, you’ve preached my life. Thank you so much for your obedience to God and sharing this message, and simply confirming that all of the rejection I have encountered in life was divinely appointed, and also a Divine announcement that I have great purpose within me to pour out to the glory of God. More Blessings to you! 🙏🏽🙌🏾❤️

  • I am literally saying this outloud “rejection is a gift.” I believe my life will never remain the same after listening to the message. God brought this message at the right time in my life. God knows all I have done right before the sperms met the egg, and He still decided that I was necessary for creation

  • I hope Nona reads this comment. I was considering seeking help from a Therapist for Abandonment issues until I heard this profound message. God’s Holy word as spoken through you as his vessel is all the therapy we could possibly need and we need to know this. Thank you for sharing your amazing gift and life experiences. Many Blessings! Donzella in SC

  • Needed this message at this exact point of time! This message was from the heart of God to my heart and this word solidified and freed me from looking at the pain and rejection as my fault or something has to be wrong with me! I thank God for this Word, and His freedom!! I thank God for raising me out of the miry clay of defeat and agony of being rejected! I receive my freedom right now!! I am free, through Jesus!!

  • This is far the most important message I was ever preached, since I’ve joined the family of Christ. This new comprehension sets my feet back to the ground. After decades of chasing human approval (of god’s people) I’m finally ready to accept and embrace any rejection, in order to get free at last. Free to live in God’s glory, free to serve him, free to build his kingdom, according to HIS will.

  • OH OH OH MY GOD THIS BLESSED ME TO THE CORE OF MY SOUL! My attitude toward REJECTION has completely changed. I found this POWERFUL WORD after hearing GOD tell me to “WELCOME REJECTION.” I understand now. My mental facilities are cleared. Thank you, Nona for allowing GOD to use you in such a powerful way. Eternal Blessings to you🙏🏽

  • I was born in a christian family. I asked a church to help me and they didn’t. They rejected me. I asked and they didn’t help me with a safe apartment. Im not blaming. That christian radio station out of north Carolina said i was going to hell in so many words. I experienced what they talked about. I pray for the sick in Jesus Christ name.

  • I can identify with you. I believe God put us through this because he want us to be holy and set apart. He have a purpose for our life. Just like you, you are preaching the word of God. God dont want us with a set of friends who would sway us from our destiny, who would encourage us in idle talk and gossip. God set us apart to be a light to the world.

  • That was a WORD I have struggled being in care, abandoned by my own parents, and I am still young. Sometimes I felt helpless and that life will never get better, because I always have to be strong and have my back, seeing as there are few around. But God is my deliverer and best friend. ❤❤❤ And he is with you all.

  • Thank you Pastor Nona Jones for this powerful message. I thought a person whom I was always there for would be there for me but God has shown me differently. I admt that it does hurt but after listening to your testimony; I know I am worthy of so much more. God, I thank you because you always send me a right on time word when I need it. Glorryy to your name Father 🙌🏽🙌🏽.

  • I guess I really needed to hear this again because I found this without searching for the subject or the one giving the talk, who name I never heard of till now. God bless you for this talk. I’ve been rejected so much, I was convinced that God didn’t allow me to be loved. But I know now that I have a calling on my life. Jesus called me to Israel in an open vision and it’s important that He is the only one close to me because of what I’m carrying.

  • I opened youtube looking for encouragement to help overcome the fear of rejection and working in God’s will without the fear of others’ perception of me and this was the first article on my suggested list. Such a powerful and timely word, thank you! i encouraged anyone else in need right now, you are worthy, you are chosen, you are enough, and you are loved <3

  • Hallelujah! So important: attached or assigned. We truly need to separate. I needed this sermon 6 months ago, but God kept me and brought me to this and other sermons as He continues to walk with me. God IS sooo good. Thank you for being obedient and bringing this message as I know many women, including myself, who this message will help sustain them in their current season. God bless you.

  • my sister, who is also a minister and pastor, sent this word to me. Thank you for sharing your testimony, and God‘s word to remind me of his promises for me and to teach me that rejection is a gift. We can control always control what happens to us, but we can control our response. Thank you again for this timely word, and for reminding me of God, since I am for he knows the plans he has for me to succeed and not fail. He will place the proper people in my life, and may he forgive me if I rejected any❤🔥🔥🔥🎁🔑🔑🔑🙏🏾🙏🏾🔥💙💙💙💙💙📣📣📣📣😇😇😇📣

  • I can’t watch this only made it 13 minutes into the article. I have a 10 yr old daughter and 2 boys age 13,16. I can’t imagine what you went through but I will never bring a man around my kids I’m in tears, why would a mother do that. I’m so sorry. May God restore and heal anyone dealing with rejection and abuse ❤

  • Rejection isn’t a gift when God allows it to constantly happen over and over. I always feel that I’m enough. Then He allowed me to be in a head-on crash by a high speeder that was set free and NOT even ticketed. I was put at Fault. I was NEVER at fault. The Police Officer was rude to me. I was stuck in the car 2 nights ago with six airbags going off and not being able to get out. The high-speed driver was never injured and she even admitted to myself in another person that she was going too fast. God I expect you to make this right as my own insurance company is not even having my back!

  • Amen and I receive this! Thank you for this word. My husband abandoned my children and I 18 months ago, filed for unbiblical and unjustifiable divorce and walked away from God, Hid word, and the laws God has. During this time God has been there so clearly for us. I know He has plans for a wife that was faithful, dutiful and devoted to only her husband even after she was thrown away as trash. My children and I will be treasures for God to give to whoever He chooses now. This word confirmed that and was greatly needed as divorce finalization could be close unless God does a miracle and transforms my husband from his blasphemy, the devils deception and lies he has been believing.

  • What is it when you have to pull away from an assignment when you gave without receiving and never asked for anything no matter how you were used and pulled on and even placed into a seat that only God is supposed to sit, but after you moved yourself out of that kinda area you see the person finally getting closer to God and it makes you happier to see them grow closer to God and you feel freer than you ever been before cause you’ll never go back to that kinda bandage ever, but you love them and you continue to pray you just don’t connect. What happens when the situation is past on to others because you’ve pulled away and your judged without even having a trial or ability to defend your position of why? So you become silent and prayerful and judged by those in authority. I know God loves me,because ever since I’ve pulled away God has been working on me and 🌸 blessing me for hid purpose .

  • God bless you all ..I just feel like talking this…this message got my hart ….one thing I would like to share is that before getting in a condition …we there if we are getting reject for a purpose of God …we have to look inside to our harts and put ourself in a mirror to see how we are acting, if we are truly showing Love, humbleness, if we show understanding of peoples problms, if we are kind….if we speak and act prudently and more….that’s before setting our mind that that rejection is for a purpose of God…if thats not the case then brothers and sisters we have to change our way of thinking and acting because we could be the problem, God bless everyone.❤️

  • This is a beautiful sermon!! Thank you so much for sharing this message!! Thank you for following the Lord’s word that says our testimony’s defeat the devil. You have surely done some defeating today!! I have felt very isolated and rejected for a long time. My siblings have betrayed me after my mom passed. I’m especially hurt by my brother’s abandonment. This message brought me so much freedom. Praise Jesus!! 🙏🙏💖

  • Amen, this was a right on time Word, she is an awesome powerhouse from God. I love that she allows God to use her tests as her testimoies that helps so many others. Our tests are not just for us, but for us to share with others to show that if God did it for me, He will do it for thee. I love her preaching and teaching. Praying that everyone who hears this, is never ever the same. God wastes nothing, allow Him to use you, and it will be life-changing for you and for others. Be blessed…..
