I tell you these things so that someone who doesnt know a trans person can see that we are just normal people who have families and love and work and do all the normal things in life. If this was a Republican bill they would’ve all voted yes, even with all the same details. We need an independent president so we don’t always fight the administration, like the GOP voting no on everything under Biden, or the Dems voting no on everything under Trump. What he said was that he would like to get rid of any ruling that was done on the basis of “right to privacy”, and used that as an example of something that was ruled under a “right to privacy”. I agree with him on that though. The “right to privacy” is a weak ass defense, especially when you are announcing to the world that you want to get married.
