  • I say as long as the dress is not mostly white any other color, pattern, and style is fair game! I’m the type of person who doesn’t like to dim themselves for someone’s event or to please anyone. I’ve been raised that if you are closer in relation to the bride and groom the nicer you dress. I’ve shown up to a wedding in a prom dress before and honestly no one had any issues about it at all! Red is mine and my husband’s signature color and I’m not going to wear something I don’t look good in to a wedding. I always say you cannot please everyone and if someone is going to cause a big fuss about a dress that isn’t white at a wedding then they have the issues and it has nothing to do with you.
