  • The best thing that happened to me this year was finally meeting a genuine, beautiful and caring soul that I can see myself spending the rest of my life with. It’s so exciting, having this feeling after such a long time trying and meeting new people but it never working out, it was a long wait, until this year, as I just turned 30. Always loving your articles.

  • Visiting my brother in TN a few weeks ago has been the highlight of my year so far. He was diagnosed with dementia a few months ago, so I wanted to see him in person to see how he was doing. We ended up taking a road trip to see our niece, who had a pool table in her basement. My brother was once a pool shark, so when he saw that table, he came alive! He remembered his old pool tricks and even got to teach his grandnephews how to improve their game. To see him doing well was priceless to me!

  • Hello Audrey, thank you for another amazing article. You look beautiful. 2023 is a bittersweet year for me and my family. We lost our younger son a few years ago at the tender age of 15 and our older son really struggled emotionally but with love and support he has grown into such a lovely strong young man of whom we are soo proud. So my favourite thing for 2023 so far has to be the excitement of seeing him happy and at peace and helping him plan his wedding which happens in December this year God willing and the bonus is that also gets his degree in Astro Physics. I’m a proud Mamma…. Remain blessed xxx

  • Hello beautiful Audrey, Thank you for this opportunity, To be honest this year has been one of the most difficult years of all, within 4 months my husband and I have lost 9 loved ones. The lost of my mother has been shattering but her love and life taught me to treasure life more than ever and to celebrate life because it’s a beautiful gift from God. So I have to say the best thing that has happen to me is life, life itself and the experiences I get to have and make. And I get to hold them dearly in my heart and mind, I get to love and be present and treasure each moment with everyone I encounter. So thank you once again and continue to shine your beautiful light in this world. ❤️

  • I confess i was apprehensive about turning 69 this year. My mom died when she was 69, and i felt unprepared for the years to come. But this summer I have made new friends, am continuing to work on my health, and finally have the POV i need for the book I want to write. Thanks so much, Audrey. Your articles always inspire me!

  • My all time special event was my husband reaching his one year post stem cell transplant anniversary on 12July. 2023.( Thank you all the Doctors and staff at John Hopkins University Hospital for all your great care)The transplant cells have taken and are at 100%. His blood counts continue to improve. We are both so grateful.

  • The graduation of my son, first diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age 6, from college—Magna Cum Laude. He wants to work in education, helping special needs students. Throughout his childhood and well into young adulthood he and I were told all the things he couldn’t do, not what he could. So proud of him!

  • My favorite thing and best thing this year was not always the easiest thing. ❤️ This year marked the first year of having my hair grown out to silver! It was sometimes hard, sometimes not. It was quite an inner journey….where, in the end, I was gifted the joy of personally celebrating my true self. Perhaps it had nothing to do with my hair color at all! That was the best and most surprising part of this year!❤

  • My highlight was coming across this website. It has inspired me to lose weight, start dressing up again, start shopping again & sticking to my style. I had not stepped out of my house & car in years. I stuck to drive-thrus, flaking, delivery & online schooling. I avoided people. Now I’m okay seeing people: I volunteer in a school.

  • My favourite thing that happened to me this year, was surprisingly a health scare. I know that seems odd, but as difficult & stressed I was, it made me so much more mindful of the simple blessings in my life and so much more appreciative of my small family. My life is speeding by in a blur of responsibilities & being a busy stay at home mom with no me-time, I started to feel resentful. But having a health scare was the kick I needed to realise it is a privilege to be able to care for my family. To be home every day with them, stressed or not. I wouldn’t trade those weeks of constant worry for anything, because it woke me up big time ❤ thank you for your awesome articles. I look forward to every one of them 😊

  • My favorite thing this year was finding your website. Not only for the fashion content, which is great, but also because of your amazing and soothing voice. I find myself perusal you before I go to bed every night just to relax and wind down my day, much like ASMR. You truly would make a fantastic ASMR content creator! Thank you, my friend, for all your style tips but also for for helping me drift asleep. It’s all good! XOXOXO

  • Love your content, Audrey! My favorite thing that has happened this year (so far) is the joy and freedom I have experienced since entering my 30s. In this decade, I am already enjoying more confidence, faith, satisfaction, laughter, and hope than I ever did in my 20s. For those of you who dread getting older – the years just get sweeter and sweeter! Cherish where you are now and look forward to all that’s in store <3

  • I’m currently pregnant with my first child, so that’s definitely my favorite thing that happened this year, making it beautiful and special already. I will be having a baby girl before the holidays, and I wear pearl earrings everyday. I would love to add those beautiful pearls to my collection. Love your articles, Audrey, you are so effortlessly classic and cool.

  • My favorite fun thing this year has been finding styling articles. I have learned so much about what’s in style, what flatters me and how to begin building my wardrobe. Like so many women I spend a lot of time and energy helping others. Your articles give me a chance to do something nice for myself. Thank you ever so much!

  • Greetings! New subscriber 🐝 here, joined yesterday. Loved ur articles… I watched couple of articles and it’s totally mesmerizing. Thank you! The best thing happen to me this year is nursing my 83 year old dad after 2 consecutive cardiac arrests and a brain procedure due to subdural hemorrhage. I have to fly to my homeland two times within the last 4 months leaving my high school daughter here (with her dad). But I am so grateful that I was there with my dad all the way through when the doctors told us that it’s like a miracle that he came back to life. ❤

  • I love pearls and now have some new ideas on how to wear them. I sometimes feel too formulaic. So thank you for this article. So far, the best thing that has happened in 2023 is that I am finally getting busy at work again. So many people were still not out and about until recently. So, I am thrilled to have work!

  • Favorite thing about this year is spending extra quality time with family and friends! I resigned from a job I was really struggling through, got to travel to Australia and parts of Europe, and start my own personal chef business which is something I’ve been dreaming about for a while now. These are such beautiful pieces, Audrey!

  • The best thing that has happened this year is finally finishing residency and becoming a family physician after 11 years of studying, countless night shifts, nearly giving up multiple times and lots of sweat and tears. Finally doing my dream job every single day of my life :’). Anything is possible !

  • Thank you, Audrey, I loved pearls since I was young and always keep them as an option despite the trends. The best thing that happened to me this year was seeing my two children being recognized at their work. Although they work in completely different places and fields, both were awarded important recognition by their employers during the same week… I’m very proud!

  • The best thing that has happened to me this year was finding a life partner for my brother who was single for a long long time (54 years old) and was taking care of my aging parents and not thinking about his life at all. So I am very happy for him that he has a soulmate now in his life and he is very happy.

  • The best thing that has happened to me is that I finally sat on my rescue horse’s back. His name is Spruce. I have no attachment to riding him, I have just wanted him to have a gentle horse-y life that is peaceful and free of fear and uncertainty. At the same time, I want him to be able to be handled just in case something happens to me and he needs to be rehomed someday. So, we have been doing lots of groundwork for the last couple of years, basically just play time with him having lots of opportunities to explore without having too many demands made on him. I sat on his back, in a saddle, last week, and we walked around the arena a few times, followed by lots of horse-y treats. Baby steps, but he seemed at ease, which is a really big deal for a horse that came to me after having 5 homes.

  • I had my baby girl December last year (it will make sense, I promise) and when the newborn fog dissipated I realized that I’m kind of responsible for helping her gain her sense of self and individuality. Then I realized it was finally time to start expressing myself and to be proud of it and one of the ways I like to do that is through clothes and styles. So I finally started to curated my wardrobe and access outfits through my lens instead of “trendy this season”.

  • The best thing that has happened to me this year is that I have become my two adorable grandson’s part-time day caregiver. I get to take my pre-k and second grade grandson to school and then pick them up after school. These moments are creating priceless memories for me. I am 66 years old and recently retired, but I still try to make every day a special occasion by getting dressed for my day and following fashion inspiration. Thank you, Audrey for providing that for me. I love pearls, but honestly, I have not worn mine very much. I will make it my goal to heed your tips and incorporate them in my outfits.

  • My husband said I can have chickens after two years of hinting and explaining the benefits. The egg shortage and skyrocketing prices finally convinced him. 🎉 We are currently putting aside money and exploring the best style of a chicken coop for our yard. And, yes, I will be wearing my pearls around my girls! 🐓

  • My daughter got her dream job working for The National Trust for Scotland. She found out at the train station about to head into Glasgow for another interview! She came home and we danced around the kitchen together! I’m so proud of her, especially as she heads back to university in September to study a masters in Museum Studies. The following week my son will get married to her beautiful fiancée Olivia. Happy times! We celebrated out Pearl anniversary this year too so absolutely happy times! Thank you for you lovely articles x

  • The best thing that happened to me this year was having a gallstone attack and going to the ER. I had a CT scan that in addition to showing gallstones, a nodule in my right lung was discovered. Turned out to be Stage1 cancer. It was caught in time, surgery was performed and I am cancer free. I have never smoked so this was a complete surprise. I feel blessed that the cancer was discovered because of gallstones.

  • Our daughter and son-in-law are both Air-force and have been stationed in South Korea for 2 years with our grand daughter, so we we able to care for our Grand-Dog..he is 13 and travel would have been too much. We are honored to take care of him and our lab mix loves having a buddy. This makes my heart happy.

  • Beautiful Audrey! Besides perusal your articles when they first come out, I also rewatch them when I want to feel better and to improve my mood! It’s like having something nice, a special treat, so to speak, especially after perusal all the political news… For example, right now I am miserable staying home, sick with Covid yet again, and perusal your articles brings me so much joy! I was thinking of what was the best thing that happened to me this year? Besides my trip to Europe, seeing my family and spending two days with my adorable granddaughter Kira, I would say that it was a discovery of Sezane clothes company, again thanks to you! I bought three blouses from them online, I found out that they have a boutique in New York, where I live, so I can visit them in person. They have such a feminine style, I am in love with Sezane! I am very grateful to you for this recommendation. Classic and feminine style is timeless!

  • This year I have enjoyed talking some time off with work as a teacher and a single mother and spent more quality time with my young children and my family and just focus more on appreciating their presence in my life. Accepting and being more grateful of the uniqueness of our family despite our brokeness and counting more of our blessings each day. ❤🙏

  • The best thing that happened to me this year was rediscovering fashion. After having kids and working in a hospital(where I wear scrubs all day) I wasn’t putting much effort on what I was wearing on a daily basis. Things have changed though, I now care about what I wear everyday, started using make up again and doing my hair. Your articles have definitely helped me upgrade my style. I’m very grateful for all your tips. ❤️

  • Being an aunt to 11 beautiful “babies” has been a blessing.and perusal them grow up has been an honor. Becoming a great aunt to 7 perfect little souls has been a joy this year. I love pearls! Creamy ivory, beautiful colors, perfectly round, and imperfectly perfect they are precious just like all my nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

  • The best thing that happened this year so far was starting one on one meditation and self inquiry classes. Having done a lot of this thing in the past but the one on one focus has transformed my practice and outlook. Processing the grief I feel from my mothers passing last November has been tough, but facing head-on has been a rewarding experience for self growth and self-love. My mother and I practised meditation and yoga together for 16 years. I am blessed to have been a fellow seeker with her. Putting your health first has more power than you can ever imagine across all areas of your life.

  • The best thing that happened to me this year was turning 40 and begining to live. I grew up in a very emotionally abusive family and it took me a long time to acept that they would never respect me. It broke my heart having to walk away to preserve my mental health. But now I’m reclaiming my life, my joy, and my beauty. perusal your articles has been balming for my self esteem. Your voice, atitude, advice, and calming rithem of your articles helps me reconect to the most feminine, tranquil part of me. I am so grateful for your website. This year I’ve finnaly had the oportunity to put what I’ve learned into practice and it feels AMAZING 🎉. Thank you for your work and thank you to all the comunity that follows it. You make the world a better place🥰

  • Hi Audrey, Thanks so much for your fabulous article. Always enjoy perusal your creations. I moved to Seattle from Taiwan in 2019. I’ve learned English with an online coach for more than two years. One of the best things in 2023 is that my English teacher Cindy is gonna visit me next month. How amazing. I can’t wait to meet her in person after more than 100 hours learning online. Hope you also have a beautiful 2023❤

  • I left my stressful job. 😆 My time has now been spent meeting with friends and family I haven’t seen in over a decade. Childhood and high school friends in particular, and family members I’ve never met before! I’ve gone on so many adventures with each of them individually! Hiking, vintage shopping, berry picking, hot spring hopping. Not to mention the events I’ve gone to; a tea festival, a grand opening, farmer’s markets, a Hawaiian festival, and now another Pacific Islander event soon. After so many years of loss and disappointment, this has been so invigorating. I feel alive and grateful! This is your sign to break away from things that don’t bring you peace, and pursue your happiness with the people who care about you. ✨💃

  • Thank you Audrey for all the content you create for many like me that have no idea about style. The best thing that happened to me this year was that I gave myself more time to spend with all the woman in my family. Mother, sister, niece and cousins. Hosted dinner events, planned trips, day trip and just quality time together. I got to reconnect with my family again and got great life advise that I never considered before. But this year I made sure that I was present physically and mentally. That had been the highlight of my year. Family, reconnect, give and Love.

  • Thanks for this article, Audrey. I have one Pearl necklace my husband gave to me approx 43 yrs ago, and I’ve always loved it. I do not have pearl earrings, but am on the lookout for some. (I will check out your link.) The best thing that has happened to me is that over the summer, my husband took a beat-up old 10′ X 12″ shed that is in our backyard and turned it into a crafts’ room for me. We downsized considerably in 2014, and I’ve not had a place to do my arts and crafts. We’ll be married 47 years in Feb, and he’s always been so loving and concerned.

  • The best thing that’s happened in my life has been to bring my sister into my home. We’re in our 50’s and have been distant for years. My sister has been abused for many years by her now ex-husband. She hasn’t had very much confidence in a long long time. I’ve been able to help her become the lovely and strong person she was meant to be. I so look forward to many many more years of a loving sisterhood with her.

  • My favourite thing this year is finally taking time for myself and redecorating myself. I started to change up my style now that my special needs kids are all grown up and don’t need my support as much, I finally take more time to wear my jewellery that I’ve waited to wear on special occasions. Everyday now is a special occasion. 🎉

  • My favourite thing this year is small but cherished. Last year I moved very far away from home for the first time and the transition was extremely difficult, but this year I’ve been working hard to improve things and have gotten to a point now that my physical health is better than it was before I moved, and I’m beginning to feel a sense of movement and openness to exploration that I haven’t felt in a long time.

  • I changed jobs at 50 after working at my previous job for 23 years and it has been 7 months already and I am still stressed! 😩 It was hard for me to do this as my previous job I was doing nothing the last 5 years and with this one I am learning so much, I am literally in charge of so much. I know it was a good move for me, to get out of my comfort zone and to feel useful and to feel what I do matters, but at the same time I am still anxious about showing them they didn’t make a mistake in hiring me. Anyway I am grateful for this new journey!

  • I was invited by a curator to exhibit my work in a public gallery in my city, which landed me a public grant to develop an interactive art installation. This project has brought recognition and opened new doors. Thank you for your elegant no non-sense style and approach to fashion, a joy to watch your articles.

  • Hey Audrey, thanks for doing a give away like this :)! My favourite thing about 2023 so far has been graduating with a bachelor’s degree and getting accepted into masters immediately! I went back to university in 2021 as I lost my job due to Covid, and I am very proud of myself for finishing a degree in 2.5 years. I never thought I would be able to complete a degree, but here I am, about to start a masters 😀

  • Expecting my third baby 🤗 and carrying her with style this time around. Thanks to you Audrey, I’m keeping my classy style through pregnancy and loving my pearls again! I felt too old in them for a long time, but learning how to style whole accepting my place in this life journey has freed me to enjoy what I have and truly love ❤️

  • Wow, Audrey – what a relevant article. You’re always on top of everything. Thank you so much for the inspiration. Your looks have developed beautifully. The best thing that happened to me this year is gaining back my health. I have been sick for almost 9 months on and off with colds and I think I finally got over it. I started to work out again and feel like a normal person again. Many love and health to all of you guys.

  • Thank you so much for the lovely article! A great thing that happened to me this year was moving to my own apartment, my first home that I bought, after many years of staying in places that I didnt feel comfortable in, and that were not my style at all. My new home needs so many things, new furniture, lighting fixtures and everyday stuff but I so so love the energy of my new place. It has made me so happy 🧡🧡🧡

  • After a painful setback, 2023 is proving to be a year of reclamation in becoming the best me I can be in every dimension: career, physical and mental well-being, the finishing touches of designing my little nest and in spiritual development. Grateful! Thank you for your lovely and classy articles, Audrey! They are aspirational!

  • I love your articles dear Audrey. Thank you so much! You bring so much class, emotional intelligence and beauty to all. My favorite thing this year was a trip to Hawaii with an unexpected visit to Lahaina. What a beautiful area… A heavenly day… A miracle… Getting horrible news about the fire is the worst moment of the year so far. Grieving with all who is affected by the devastation.

  • I absolutely adore pearls! I’m gaga over them. Layer them in bracelets to do a stack trend with a classic look. Princess Diana wore them and she was a style icon, even now. I’ve been collecting them for years. Vintage costume pearls, be still my heart. I purchased a hand strung set, I hand-picked the pearls and clasp, too, a vintage design (for mom). She was enamored with them.

  • The best thing for me this year has been that I was able to go on a vacation to Charleston, SC and my kids came to my house to take care of my mother (who has dementia) so I could go. By the way, I loved it! It’s the perfect city to vacation. It has history, architecture, delicious sea food and the ocean. I had a great time.

  • Trying to figure out my personal style has opened me up creatively. I feel way more inspired. I also have to agree with the pearl studs. I have been unsure about incorporating pearls in to my style just because people tend to think pearls = old lady. But I bought a pendant and studs on vacation and the studs can really brighten up your face in a different way than gem stones and I really like it for casual looks.

  • Thank you for this article! I have two classic pearl necklaces. One was my mother’s that my dad got for her on a business trip to Japan in the ’70s, so great sentimental value. The other is a beautiful hand-strung necklace from my husband. I rarely wear either, but you have given me the inspiration to pull them back out!

  • The best thing that happened to me this year was to lose the 30 lbs I had been struggling with through Menopause…at 57 I still have about 10 lbs to go, but have a new walking routine since Jan … along with a healthy diet, I have now developed such joy in a beauty regimen, and in fashion which I haven’t felt in so many years,…❤ love your website, it’s very inspiring ! …..

  • I came from a family that sadly didn’t save any family heirlooms. They didn’t see the value in them. I went to a flea market and found a beautiful vintage pearl necklace. Clearly, it was much loved. I bought it and I wear it often. I treasure it because I know that somebody must’ve worn it for a long time. You can always make your own heirlooms to pass down.

  • The main highlight of my year so far has been going on my first vacation out of the country since 2018. I was able to enjoy spending time with my family which has been difficult to do because I am a medical resident. Finishing my first year of residency has also been a great accomplishment this year!

  • Ohh… my favourite of 2023… so… i started to sew my own wardrobe and for that purpose i bought a vintage singer panoramic sewingmachine in Bulgaria for 50 euros, found the tutorial in youtube to clean and oil this dinosaur and re-watching your article to decide which items i must to create at first and what kind of fabrics to select for that items… The next step will be the selection of classic and gentle accessories… Audrey, thanks for your stylish inspiration!

  • My highlight? So difficult to say it but was leaving my controlling and toxic family that tried to take control of my life after my husband’s death. They didn’t accept my need for independence and therapy, even if young I lost my life partner and I needed to learn again how to be me and not only somebody’s wife or daughter. Went so far they called my therapist to ask if was anything wrong with me and how was possible I wanted to be free of them. I worked hard, tried to make them see, I even tried to show them why I needed to learn how to live by myself, they said ” with us or without”. So I took my luggage, closed my house and went to live 1200km far from them, in another country. Never been more happy and my pearls, that I adore, were the thing I wore the most, they are my reminder of tears and growth pain😊. I don’t care if I win, is so liberating to be able to tell this and to encourage anyone who might be in my situation: learn how to be yourself not what people want you to be!!!

  • The best thing that happened to me this year is that my 92 year old father returned home after a year of rehab due to a heart valve transplant and 2 strokes. The doctors said we should prepare for the end but I was determined to bring him home. I spent 10 hours a day with him working on cognitive and motor skills and I’m thrilled to say he’s doing really well. 😊

  • I love those pearl earrings they are gorgeous. Love your outfit as well. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for sharing. The best thing that has happened to me this year is my natural hair is now full and beautiful. I had to see a dermatologist in 2020. Before my hair started thriving. I manifested it doing well. By writing how I desired my hair to be. Also I spoke it into existence. That very night while I slept. God showed me a vision of how my hair will be. And now my hair is thriving and doing great. Sending you, Audrey and everyone here love, light and good deeds.❤️❤️🙏🙏☮️☮️

  • The best thing that has happened this year was going to Grand Cayman with my family. Our usual vacation spot is Aruba, but we found that we enjoyed Grand Cayman together much more. We have only been once before, but we stayed at a newer hotel this time. If anybody is looking for a sign to go to Grand Cayman, this is it. I recommend staying at either the Kimpton Seafire or the Ritz.

  • My favorite thing for 2023 was a short vacation to Door County with my husband for our ten year anniversary. I thought I could finally get rid of my mask and then the wildfire smoke moved in just in time for our getaway. But we never take vacations so, regardless, it was a pleasant trip. Love your website and I really want your voice!!

  • So many great tips! I used to have a great dislike for pearl earrings because it was a big trend when I was in my early teens to wear these quite large fake pearl earrings in a cascading manner in multiple holes of the ear. Girls bought them in multipacks from HM and they were really poor quality so it really put me off pearls for ages. But when I got my first full time job one of the first things I bought myself was a pair of mid size pearl studs in good quality and I love them. Getting good pieces is such a game changer.

  • This year has been one of extreme highs and lows for me, as I’ve been going thru a disputed divorce since January. But I am so grateful for the love in my life, for my five year old son, and that of my new partner. Without them, life would truly be lackluster. I am grateful for every moment I share with both of them!

  • My favorite thing I did this year is prioritizing time spent with my family. I recently lost my grandmother and it was such a loss to our whole family dynamic. I decided to make a change in my behavior so that I don’t live with the regret of, “I wish I would have..” Ps I wear my pearls with my scrubs and I’m never sorry! 😊

  • Hi Audrey, My favorite thing that is happening to me this year is an opportunity to start-over! My partner and I have been together for 5 years and our relationship has recently ended. The starting point will be my new home: a chance to make it cozy and decorate it with my style. To stock up the pantry with kosher salt, my favorite oils, and other delicious spices. To pick out a soft blanket and linens to sleep on. I’m scared but excited at the same time and somehow deep down I know it’s the best thing that is happening to me–this year. ❤

  • I’ve finally gotten braces this year as an adult! Never had them when I was younger but always have been very self conscious about my smile. It’ll be a long journey but I am happy it finally started 😊 I have an evening event later this year and have been considering wearing pearls for it (this article comes in the most perfect time). They are so gorgeous but I felt like they won’t suit me. Maybe applying the tips you shared will help me choose pearl jewelry pieces and a way to style them that feels truly authentic to me! Thank you Audrey.

  • Hi. This is my first time posting in your website. Love all your articles. Thanks for being a great guidance and inspiration for me personally❣️. And Such a great idea to style pearls. ❤️‍🔥The best thing of this year is that we all have started to co-exist with Covid, flu, and even stupid people 😅 even if we know it ain’t good for us,👏🏻 somewhere or the other we all feel grateful 🥹 and started to become more kind ☺️and compassionate for all of us around 🥰and started seeing the better side of everyone around🙏🏻. Lots of love from India 🇮🇳 ❤

  • Thanks for your new article and all your tips! I will give my pearl jewellery to my niece in present when she’s 15 years old just so she woun’t limit herself wearing pearl. Me myself got the pearl jewellery when I graduated and then (at the 1980-ties/1990-ties) I only wear the jewellery the classic way. So to get the jewellery early and/or se your article helps style it in a modern way/like 2023. /Marie from Sweden

  • I think my favorite thing that’s happened this year actually hasn’t happened yet- but is about to this month! I am traveling with my sister in law and cousin and we will be welcoming someone in our family back from a deployment! We will be in Seattle and Anchorage and I can’t wait to go explore with them! 🏔

  • Hi Ms. Audrey. This is Siena and I found your website because I was looking for something very light yet interesting and easy on my ears. I heard your voice and continued perusal a few more articles. Thank you so much and to enter this game, I would like to tell you my most favorable experience this year is going back to Vietnam for a 15-day travel (not really travel as in touring places but because I had to wait for the Police Clearance cert to be issued which takes 14 working days, I had no choice but to extend my stay) which was so favorable on my part as I miss Vietnam so much. I was living here for a couple of years, 5 years to be exact and guess what? I thought about reliving those 5 glorious years by conceptualizing a film (for my YT website: Sparkle and Light) of my favorite things to do here as a Foreign Teacher. I will also be including the former schools I was employed with and my former students back in 2014 whom I met here again. I am very excited to do this short but very meaningful film of my love affair with Saigon, Vietnam. Hopefully one day I can show this to you. Thanks Ms. Audrey for the chance to participate and share my thoughts on this competition. God bless you and your wonderful website!

  • How timely! I am planning my outfit for an early start tomorrow, to catch a train to Catania in Sicily. Just a day trip. Dark purple Levi’s, grey snake belt, sky blue turtleneck, bordeaux shearling biker. I knew it needed an extra touch. Inspired by you, I have got out my Lanvin costume jewellery necklace with irregularly placed white and grey pearls. Thanks! PS blue denim handbag

  • Your mom is so cute and looks very elegant in every outfit👌❤️but totally aces the game like a total bad ass sophisticated edgy mama in the black outfit😍. Enjoy your mom coz you are blessed to have her around still. I lost my ma last year so I know how precious these captured moments are. Thank you for bringing these articles. Always love them all. 💕💕💕

  • I love pearls. I have a leather chord which I put pendants on. Have loved that look for many years but I’ve never had a pearl to add to it. Although was a pendant which included a pearl I considered buying some years back but it was a bit too expensive. I just loved all of the pieces you showed from Gingiberry. I will definitely be looking into buying from them. Just gorgeous. Thanks for the article and the discount code! 😘

  • A lot of ‘fashion experts’ say that women of a certain age should not wear bright colors and that less jewelry is more. I will be 60 in July and I want to know why they say that. I know what looks good on my body and I don’t dress like I’m 25 years old or anything like that. And I don’t wear too much jewelry but if I wear a necklace and earrings, I want to wear my watch and bracelet. And some of them say that is too much jewelry. Just wondering.
