I think blue bloods is an amazing show. But those vows are unrealistic and baseless in every sense of the word. Cops who date each other should never work together. It’s a very dangerous hazard and can cause many distractions during the job. You could miss something happening nearby because dating cops were arguing about something that happened last night or the other day. I can put civilians at risk of harm and leave these two dating cops open to multiple lawsuits that the city would have to clean up. It’s too risky. They need to work in separate departments for all safety reasons.
