I witnessed something similiar at a friend’s wedding. Her maid of honor made a farting joke and how she stinks. It is very distasteful. Yeah, joke to yourselves any other time, but don’t talk like this in front of a bride’s family. You are supposed to make the bride feel like a beautiful princess. Not call her trash and lice, even as a joke… just not the right place or time.
Angelina has worked really hard to rebuild these relationships with them. As a longtime fan of the show, it was nice to see them all finally welcome her. For a wedding speech, it should definitely be more about that than ol’ time cheesy one-liner insults. That’s literally all it was. Team Angelina on this one.
I can see things from both sides… The girls had good intentions; saw it as a joke, but it didn’t turn out the way they planned. I honestly feel like they cared and are very sorry at the end of the day. I understand why Angelina felt the way she did and still does. She saw Chris hurt and that made her hurt. It’s a wedding not a roasting session. There’s a time and place for everything. I think Angelina had the right to be upset because it was kind of embarrassing after everyone was booing. I think if the crowd had laughed she would have been ok. She had to keep smiling to try to seem ok with the situation so she wouldn’t feel worse about it and that’s why she flipped out later on. But, this could have been handled differently. She wasted so much time flipping out instead of enjoying her wedding. She should have waited til after the party to talk to the girls about the speech. She prob was more upset knowing that the producers probably made the girls do the speech on purpose for drama and that just wasn’t the right time to do that. Don’t know how this show is going to continue but after this it won’t be the same.
The annoyance with this is the inability of these girls to take personal responsibility for what they did. It wasn’t funny, it landed flat, there is a rocky history here as well. There is a massive difference between the best man/brother saying this is girls who were fighting with Angelina and literally almost had a physical altercation with them 3ish months before. This speech should have been given at the bachelorette party. As a married woman you go up there, tell a cute innocent story, give some advice, wish them blessings. Say God bless and keep it pushing.

I feel like even if they had “good intentions” with the speech, they should’ve known better than to say that type of speech at her own wedding. it sounded like they didn’t put any heartfelt words or thought into it. it was just insults infront of her family and in laws. it blows my mind that they STILL blamed Angelina for her reaction instead of their own actions.

I believe Snooki is the fakest nice person you see on screen. She is a mean girl. perusal old seasons of JS and seeing how she flipped scripts from s1 to s2 alone you could see how nasty she would be to Angelina constantly, and would gang up on her with the other roommates. See Angelina has had it rough from all the housemates for years, the boys are trying to be tasteful and save the day while the girls are sooooo confused why she got upset.
