Everything that he said before he placed the ring on her finger is a red flag that should let her know he isn’t going to marry her. I understand he has a child & everything. That is good that he is cautious about who he brings around his daughter because that is a move most good mothers make pertaining to their (child or children). But you would think he would’ve put some extra thought into that, being a single dad & all, before he decided to go on the show. I don’t think he is going to marry her, he just doesn’t seem like he is ready to settle down. I pray to God that I am wrong. But in my eyes, I see nothing but a playa.
I think everybody is judging Chris wrongly and just being bitter. They have truly been devoted to working towards building a healthy and long lasting relationship/friendship and I pray, heavenly marriage. I haven’t heard a Black man sing the praises of a finding a ‘beautiful Black Queen’ in a long time, and I have to give it to this young man. He knows what he wants, he sees what he has, he’s not making any promises, but he’s willing to go the distance with this awesome young lady. I think this is one of those things, where somebody puts aside physical attraction, and tries to choose a partner based on the boxes they check. Jada is going to break her back trying to make Chris happy. He gon use Jada up, and then a year later she gon find out he was cheating.

I really appreciated that he presented a commitment ring opposed to an engagement ring, It showed that he care about his daughter (which is his first priority), and wanted to respect the commitment ties to married. I think he is genuine. There are men who truly care about their children and who they bring around them. He told Jocelyn that he mentioned that he had a daughter and she not once asked about his daughter…even when she was speaking to him it was all surface level, grammar school, type language whereas with Jada he felt safe. Men are not always looking to lay in the bed…some are looking for a safe place to lay their head. That means safe….that means vulnerability…that means trust. He is tight to tale it slow.
Looking at the comments I feel better that I’m not the only one who didnt trust Chris. I was happy he chose Jada but by the end of it I was still unsure about him and worried for her.
