After your wedding, you may want to take some time for yourself and handle several tasks before the end of the day. The end of your wedding day signals a new stage of your life, and you may feel empty and anxious about what will happen next. To help you cope, consider the following:
1. Have your wedding dress cleaned and preserved. Even if you don’t think your daughter will wear your dress some day, it’s good to get your dress cleaned and preserved.
2. Plan the timings for your wedding ceremony. The ceremony can be as short or long as you want, but guests don’t want to be sitting for hours. In a registry office, your ceremony may be as brief as 10-15 minutes.
3. Enjoy your honeymoon as a time to unwind and de-stress after the wedding ends. Take time to embrace the adjustment and embrace the new dynamic in your lives.
4. Send out thank you notes to your friends and family who traveled to be with you on your special day. Don’t wait too long to complete this task; block out time on your calendars to take care of it as soon as your honeymoon is over.
5. Take down your wedding website and registry to prevent additional costs. Scrapbooking can be therapeutic, and some ladies go into wedding coordination as a career.
6. Take a moment to relax as newlyweds. Clean up the wedding reception venue if needed, host an informal post-wedding brunch, and make it Instagram-worthy.
7. Throw yourself into another goal-orientated project to take your mind off the post-wedding blues.

What is the last part of the wedding?
Processional: Wedding party enters. Welcome! The officiant makes opening remarks. Share meaningful passages. Officiant’s Address: Speech by the person leading the ceremony. Also called the “I dos.” Promises to each other. Exchange of rings. Sign of love and loyalty. Blessing or closing remarks. The officiant’s final words. Official marriage declaration. Recessional. The bride, groom, and bridal party leave. You can also have loved ones give marriage advice.
What is the last part of a wedding ceremony?
7. Recessional. The last step is the recessional. The recessional is the opposite of the processional. The couple leads, and the officiant is last to leave. The officiant may exit down the center of the aisle or exit to the side after giving closing remarks. Cultural and religious wedding ceremony order ideas. If you’re having a religious wedding, it can be hard to know what to do. Some religions have similar structures, while others have strict rules. We’ve put together everything you need to know about these wedding ceremony outlines. Christian denominations usually follow a specific script for the wedding ceremony order of events, but there is some flexibility. A basic wedding program template can be used for a typical Christian ceremony. In a traditional Christian wedding, the parents of the groom walk behind the officiant, then the mother of the bride, the groom, the best man and maid of honor (walking together), the groomsmen and bridesmaids (walking together), the ring bearer, flower girl, and the bride and father of the bride walk down the aisle.
What is the party after getting married?
A post-elopement party is a party after your elopement. It’s like the reception at a traditional wedding. You do the official stuff (read your vows, have your ceremony, sign your marriage license), and then celebrate with your loved ones. If you elope, you might not have a reception. If you and your partner elope, you’ve chosen to keep it intimate with just you two. Or maybe you invited a few friends to your ceremony, and then you’re going off to do your own thing. Elopements don’t usually have a reception like traditional weddings. Many couples love celebrating with their loved ones, whether on the day of the elopement, a week later, or a few months later. A post-elopement party is a celebration for you and your partner with your family and friends.
What happens at the end of a wedding?
When does the bride and groom leave? A “send-off” happens right after the ceremony. Guests go through a line and wait outside the church or away from the ceremony site for the bride and groom. Then, guests throw things like rice, birdseed, confetti, petals, bubbles, etc. at the bride and groom.
A “Formal Exit” happens at the end of the reception. After the last song, guests take the bride and groom off on their honeymoon. Since it is at night, sparklers, glow sticks, lanterns, and fireworks are popular for a more formal and grand exit. How does a fake send-off work on a wedding day? A “fake send-off” happens midway through the reception. It’s just a fake! The couple doesn’t actually leave! Why would a bride and groom do this? If they have a fun exit planned and want most of their guests to be there, a “fake send-off” can be a great option (especially if the reception is late). Pausing the reception to “fake” a grand exit lets you take great pictures with your guests and lets those who need to leave feel like they’ve completed the day. You don’t have to book your photographer until the end of your reception. This saves money! Having an outline of events in your ceremony program or at your reception will entice people to stay until it’s time for the formal exit. If guests don’t know about the formal exit, they might leave.
What is the day after a wedding?
What is a postwedding brunch? A postwedding brunch is an event the morning after the wedding. It’s a last celebration before leaving your wedding destination. The newlyweds spend more time with their guests. The reception is busy, so it’s hard to have meaningful conversations with everyone. We love hosting an after-wedding brunch. People also call this the “brunch with the newlyweds,” “day after wedding brunch,” “wedding brunch,” or “farewell brunch.” You can be creative with what you call your event. You could make brunch puns or combine your and your partner’s names with your favorite foods.
How to Plan a Postwedding Brunch. Planning a wedding brunch shouldn’t be another wedding task. Here’s how to plan the perfect brunch.
What is the day after the wedding called?
Who hosts the wedding brunch? The newly married couple usually hosts the post-wedding brunch. The couple can plan the event themselves or ask a family member or wedding planner to help. You and your new spouse should plan to be there the whole time. Plan ahead for your honeymoon! Who pays for the brunch? The brides family usually pays for the post-wedding brunch, but the couple or grooms parents can also pay. Hosting a post-wedding brunch will take money from your wedding budget. Make sure you have the funds to spare before committing to hosting the event. In recent years, who pays for the post-wedding brunch has become more flexible. In the past, the brides family was usually responsible for this, but now couples can decide who pays. Many couples pay for it themselves to thank guests and keep the party going. This change shows that couples are more involved in planning their weddings. By paying for the post-wedding brunch, couples can make sure the event goes as they want and create happy memories for their guests.
What to do next after wedding?
Get your marriage certificate. … Change your name. Update your emergency contacts. … Update your insurance. … Figure out your money. … Make a will. … Consider a prenup. Check everything off your list. Now that your wedding is over, it’s time to finish up. These won’t be as extensive as the ones leading up to your wedding. But when it comes to building a strong future together, they may be even more important. A checklist can help you finalize the details after you get married. Start with these important tasks after your wedding: Get your marriage certificate. Before your wedding, you got your marriage license. During your ceremony, you signed it. Your officiant should file your marriage license so your local city or county clerk can issue a marriage certificate. Some clerks’ offices will mail it to you, but others may require you to pick it up. Get a certified copy and keep it safe.
Can you stay together after calling off a wedding?
Yes. As long as you’re OK with never getting married. Many happy couples never marry.
What percent of weddings get called off?
There are over 115,000 weddings per day worldwide. Engagements last about a year and 20% of weddings are called off. There are many reasons to cancel your wedding.
Uncertainty about a relationship; pressure to get married; unresolved issues; a cheating partner; a rushed decision; differences in opinions on important issues; you don’t know your partner as much as you thought; a couple meets, dates, introduces each other to their family and friends, gets engaged, plans the wedding and walks down the aisle. These steps seem easy, but they require your time, energy, and commitment because it is often challenging to turn back. Canceling your wedding is a big decision. Plan and prepare carefully. Here are a few tips for doing it right. Read on!
Talk to your fiancé a few weeks early. Tell your fiancé a few days or weeks before the wedding that you want to call it off. It can cost a lot of money, so it’s better to do it before making preparations.
What is done after wedding?
Reception. This post-wedding ceremony is about introducing the bride to the groom’s family. This event has no rituals. The ceremony is a dance party with a big meal.
Blessing Ceremony. This ceremony is called an Aashirvaad Ceremony. It is to ask the elders of the family and others for blessings. The brides family and friends visit the grooms house and give the newlyweds sweets, fruit, and jewelry. The couple then touches their feet. In some parts of India, like Bengal, the Ashirwad ceremony is held two or three days before the wedding. It shows that the bride and groom are now married. The door of the bride’s house is decorated with mango leaves that stay there for a year. The groom’s family gives the bride sarees, and the bride’s parents give the groom a ring or watch.
Dwar Rokai Ceremony. This ceremony is common in North Indian weddings. The Dwar Rokai ceremony is held when the newlywed couple arrives at the groom’s house. His sister stops them from entering. The brother must give her money or a gift to let her in. It’s a fun ceremony with a lighthearted argument between the brother and sister.
What happens after a wedding is called off?
Who pays for the wedding? If you’ve planned your wedding, you may have signed contracts for a venue, officiant, wedding vendors, or other services. Some vendors and venues have cancellation policies that can reduce your debt. Even with a cancellation policy, couples can lose a lot of money to wedding vendors if the wedding doesn’t happen. The person who signed the contract with each vendor is usually responsible for paying the bill. Since engagement is not a legal contract, you do not have to share debt with your intended partner if he or she is the only one listed on the contract. If you both signed the contract, you both are responsible for paying the bill.
It’s a good idea to review any contracts, even if you weren’t involved in making them. Vendors sometimes collect debts from people who didn’t sign the contract. You may not have to pay, but it’s good to know your rights. Who keeps the ring? In California, engagement rings are a type of gift with special considerations. If your relationship ends before the wedding, you must know who ended it and why. If the recipient of the ring doesn’t get married, the ring goes back to the giver. If the engagement ends in mutual agreement, the giver gets the ring. If the giver refuses to marry, they don’t usually get the ring back.
What is the second day of wedding called?
The second day is called “Poprawiny,” which means “correct” or “improve.”

This is why I quit being a wedding photographer after 10 years. Half my couples kept getting divorced, and I spent a lot of time with them and their stories of love. Then I’d hear their stories of falling out of love. Over time I thought my job was becoming pointless, then I slowly begin to hate it, hate the wedding days. And no couple deserves that. The last straw was when one of my cards malfunctioned and the couple wanted to sue me because I lost like 10 minutes of their precious day. Fast forward to now, they are divorced. So I guess I don’t have to feel guilty anymore. Present day… i shoot real estate, and it pays the bills! No drama with couples and their families. A much better fit for me. 😊
What really stands out to me is that when he proposed to her he said, “I want to spend the rest of my life with you” and then later divorced her instead of working to fix whatever was wrong in the relationship. Lots of people say the words, “I want to spend the rest of my life with you” when they should really add “as long as I feel like it” or “as long as you’re still attractive to me” or whatever because that is what is really in their heart that they aren’t saying. They both seem like really sincere people who care for each other but I think she cares more. He threw her a curve ball and it doesn’t seem like she did anything to warrant it – now she’s left with all of the emotions to deal with. I don’t think it’s healthy for her to try to maintain a friendship with him because she seems to still love him and would reconcile if he wanted to. If there’s no chance of him sincerely wanting to reconcile and stay with her, I think she should move on and find new people. Seeing the date of this article, hopefully she has by now.
It really breaks my heart when two people divorce but only one of them wanted it 😔 Edit: Wow thanks for all the likes y’all. I came back to this article because I remembered how deep it hit me. I’m not married and my parents are still together so I’ve never experienced a divorce but this article, still, makes me cry like a baby.
This is sad. You can tell by the pained look in her eyes that she is not over him and is still in love with him. I wish he tried making it work rather then not tell her anything at all and let them grow apart. Marriage is work and compromise, and communication. I hope they find peace and true happiness down the line.
I’ve never been married, but I’ve been in love before and to see this was rather tough. I’ve had to endure situations like this, and both she and I had to be adults about it. To see someone you truly love apart from you, is something else at least for me. I liked this article, it sends a message that speaks volumes to those who still value marriage and the merit that comes with it…
I know she wants to respect her memories, her past, her ex, and her former marriage but I hope she learns what is a healthy distance to keep from him. He gave up on the marriage, and on her, and she has no obligation to tend to his emotional needs. He seems to be using her as an emotional crutch. If they wish to remain in each other’s lives, they need to establish clear boundaries around emotional intimacy for both of their sakes. Honestly I am surprised they are divorced. It seems like they should have called a marriage counselor, not a divorce lawyer.
This has to be one of the most emotional pains a person can endure. Having to sit right next to the person you once stood by everyday and built a life with, a person you once shared your whole entire life with and now barely speak to or don’t speak to at all .. to top it all off look at pictures together of being so incredibly happy and in love with one another at a point in time. Love is painful. My heart is aching for her 💔
My heart goes out to this lovely girl! She is so obviously broken and must have had her heart cried out the days and hours before the article! She looks like a tiny glas dancer, on top of a little melody jewelry box, who dances to hold up the tears and breaks one day under all the pain! HOW CAN THIS GUY NOT SEEING HER BROKEN HEART???? God bless her and give her new Love and new Happiness! 💖
So sad to watch. They both seem to be lovely caring people. We’ve been married 43 years and people change and relationships go through different phases over the years. Sometimes you have to stop and remember what drew you together in the first place. Is that still the same person inside. We all change. There were times when I honestly thought of walking away, but I’m so happy I didn’t. I think staying is sometimes harder to do but it’s much more rewarding. If you truly love somebody, do everything in your power to make it work. No matter what happens…forgive them and/or forgive yourself. It’s the greatest gift you can give and/or receive.
This almost had me in tears. It made me look at my own situation with someone I been with for 6 years now and I don’t want to get to that point but I can see how it happens. Our issue is too much time together lol. Which can be just as damaging. I hope these two remain friends and can fine a happy medium to where they are both happy
They obviously care for each other, and she was so emotional. He looks and sounds a if he was about to say “I’m sorry” and that hug in the end was very much needed for both of them. I hope she really finds that “OK” place again, broke my heart when she said “things were fine and they will be again” or something like that.
She’s precious. Bless her tender heart🌹💜 I’d love to know someone like her. She deserves to be adored 24/7💜 What a gift to have a beautiful heart like hers. Her ex walked away from an angel. I pray her delicate heart will be healed and cherished…you can clearly see and feel how special she is. Love and prayers 🙏👼💜💜
As a Gen Z heterosexual childless single young man myself whose never been on a single date once in my life, never once been in a romantic relationship, never been married once in my life, never had kids once at all. I find this article to be so depressing to watch but in the same time I am so relieved to be aromantic meaning I don’t desire or seek any loving romantic relationship. I am only interested in friendship period. To all my fellow human brothers and sisters around the world always remember be genuine & take care of one another.
This makes me sad because relationships have dry seasons. And I find myself in stail moments in my relationship with my husband because we have been through a lot. But one of us always realizes and takes a step forward and things always gets better. We go through this quite often because we both have tons of health issues. When things go through a rough season I am always thankful for one of us realizing we need to make the effort because “We are worth it!”
What is sad is he said their jobs got in the way and they never saw each other. You dont end a marriage over jobs for Gods sake!!! You committed your lives to each other!!! You change jobs and do whatever you have to, to protect your marriage!! The problem is young people dont take marriage seriously!!
Personally, marriage is never about love. It’s about commitment, trust, loyalty, and respect to one another. You vowed to spend the rest of your life with your spouse, in sickness and in health. It’s not just a matter of signing in legal papers, it’s a sacred vow that you made to be fully committed in this life. That’s why one must be financially stable, as well as being mentally and emotionally prepared to enter marriage life.
She still loves him. If she stays friends with him she will have to go through a lot of hurt when she watches him as he finds someone else. I am sure he is a nice guy. But, I don’t think he placed enough value on their marriage or her to fight for their relationship. Deep down she hopes if she stays friends he will want her back. Sad truth is he may use her as a crying towel and a booty call but he won’t get back in a real relationship with her. When he finds another woman and he will not risk his new relationship by continuing to be friends with her. The new woman will not tolerate him to be close friends with his ex-wife. I feel very very sorry for her. Her behavior indicates low self-esteem – accepting crumbs from him. I really hope she finds another man but she will need to work on her self esteem for any relationship to work for her. Voice of experience here.
People give up soooo easily!! Oh my God, There was no cheating, no violence, no arguing, no financial difficulties, they just didn’t see enough of each other!!! Couples married for forty plus years like my grandparents and parents would laugh at this lame excuse to divorce!! You stick it out guys, through the good times and the bad, if love and respect is there!!!
I’m seeing a man who only does what’s convenient for him—taking the most while giving the least. And I’m seeing a woman who had low self esteem, even before he came along, and chose to give beyond her means with no assertion for reciprocity. To this day he leans on her for emotional support and I’m willing to bet he doesn’t do the same. If we did an autopsy on this relationship, we’d probably see a lot of red flags from his side that are actually quite obvious. I pray she’s in a much better place now.
From the beginning her nose was red. To me that was an indication that she had been crying. She seems like she didn’t get the right closure. Almost like she could’ve asked him, “What did I do wrong?” and he probably gave her an answer like, “I just don’t want to be married anymore.” If this is the case, then I could see why moving on is hard for her. Not having the proper closure can be torture. He seems like the type of person that if he gets bored with someone or something he just simply moves on. This type of people are very unstable and really don’t like responsibility. Not judging him but when you are getting other people’s lives and feelings involved this can be a disaster. Marriage is hard work and it’s not for the faint of heart. I hope these two find a healthy way to move on especially her.
Honestly, the girl is so heartbroken, you can see it all over her face, she still loves him. She doesn’t want to be his friend, she wants him for her so she’s trying to put herself in this situation. I bet that she’s always there for him when he needs someone, but cab you say the same thing about him? I don’t really think so. She needs to get over him bc if he’s around this is gonna hurt.
The end of this article made me sad, as I know her pain… going through the the exact same thing with the added dimension of my wife having an affair. The best thing is acceptance and forgiveness, don’t labour over the past look to the future and look at yourself. It tough I still look at the family we had and miss things they way they were, but in all honesty I wasn’t happy either. I threw our wedding photos out, we still have digital ones, there are great photos of family who have moved on so I couldn’t destroy everything. I look at us in our photos and wonder if it was all fake and what I should have done. It’s all pointless just put the album in the attic if you have digital copies chuck it out.
I have been married for over 20 years. This is what I have come to realize:- Loving someone is a choice, not a feeling. Every couple grows apart at some point, but if you consciously make time to spend together consistently, you can ride the distant times out. And always remember when you first fell in love. Unexpected kindnesses help. Don’t stop doing kind things even when you are rebuffed the first few times. Marriage isnt 50% 50%. Its 100%. There is still hope for these two, if they really want it.
I feel so bad for Sara 😢 You can tell that she is still heartbroken over their divorce. And to make matters worse she lost her mom. 🙏I lost my dad to cancer almost 2 yrs ago. It’s such a painful experience. But, I wish both of them all the best and many blessings. Stay positive and strong, no matter what!!!
Same happened to me. He got stressed, lost his job, fell into a depression, and apparently it was my fault. He left me. I fought for it. He said there was no point. He didn’t want to fight and so I let go because I am not a sales person who needs to convince the man she married to stay. People give up so easily nowadays because the honeymoon period isn’t forever. It’s like fighting for something precious is harder than letting go. Ladies and gentlemen, we do not need that kind of “love.” Accept it, let go, move on, pray for them, and heal.
I would never come back to that situation, not because i’ve had a bad marriage, it’s because the pain of disappointments. 14 years of marriage under my belt, and my final divorce settlement this April. But even thought we’ve been separated, were still good friends. Coz at the end if you think of it, you still shared love to a person and had two awesome kids. Love and forgiveness still wins.
I went thru a break up almost a year ago. The one I thought was going to be my forever left me. I’m 39 and thought she was the one who was going to give me a family. She’s moved on and yet I’m still here unable to let her go. We have no communication but it’s like my brain makes me believe she will one day return. It’s sad she hasn’t moved on and I see a reflection of myself.
“The chapter ended” is an excuse you use for a boyfriend/girlfriend. Not a wife. If you are unhappy with the way the marriage is going, you fight to make changes that would make it work. You don’t just say, “I’m done now.” There are plenty of legitimate excuses for a divorce, but honestly, his was just lazy.
I love how the guy chases this girl, makes her fall in love with him, he asks her to marry him and then he divorces her.. this poor girl is clearly suffering. You don’t ask someone to be with you forever and then turn around when things get hard and ask them for a divorce. What did you think marriage was going to be like? Easy all the time? You’re both adults of course you’re never going to see each other all the time. ‘It could have easily gone the other way’ yeah, but you quit doing the work necessary to stay happy.
He ran instead of fighting for his marriage. His hurt caused her the current pain. They both love each other, but don’t know how to deal with whatever they’re going through. I FIRMLY believe that if one of them said “I Love You,” and he apologized, they could be on the path to reconciliation and PROBABLY married again.
My parents divorced when I was 3 and I spent 4 years begging for them to get back together because I wanted to be raised by both parents at the same time. They got back together for a month and I will never forget being 7 years old and thinking “okay, maybe they shouldn’t be together”. Together they were the worse version of themselves and I accepted it. My parents til this day love each other, but they aren’t in love anymore. They both had personal issues that they dragged each other down with. The divorce in their case was well needed. Now at 24, I’m living with my boyfriend of 3 years (we moved in together 6 months into the relationship) and from 9am to 6pm he’s at work, from 7pm to 11pm he’s in college getting his masters. We spend 62 hours out of a 168 hour week with each other and though it’s really hard, we work through it. If we rewind just a year back, we were sitting in his mother’s house as he was hugging me and crying out of frustration because he had finished 3 years of college and struggled for 8 months to find a job… until he was offered an AMAZING position 2 HOURS away from where we lived. We dropped everything and moved. We shared a small room in a house with 8 other people until we could afford a small little apartment of our own and here we are, happy and rid of our previous struggles but presented with a handful of different ones. Life is always going to be hard, specially when you’re living with another person and you have to coordinate lives and schedules.
My ex cheated on me and after months she is back begging for forgiveness. Eventually we are talking and are now just friends and I am dating another girl right now. Dating my ex was like going through hell but she is one of the most helping people out there. I will never forget some things she did for me. She is trying to redeem herself now and I will forgive her soon I guess. I dont know why I am sharing this but seeing how these people are sharing their story to the whole world, I thought I’d share mine with a few. Have a good day everyone. 🙂
The thing is… I kind of feel he is looking for something in marriage that doesn’t exist. It does become a bit of a routine but you still love the person, and he seems like he still does love her. He should have stuck it out. I imagine, with his expectations, he may be single still. Wish them both to get back together ❤
American culture has totally brainwashed us into believing that love is a feeling. No, love is a choice. You can be upset with the person you love, but you CHOOSE to make amends. Of course, if someone is cheating on you and treating you horribly, you deserve someone better, but when you seem to have lost the feeling for the other person, it’s probably because you have stopped pursuing each other. Once you stop pursuing, everything becomes stale because there’s no progress.
Girl, staying friends with him will only break you more. When I look at the wedding pics, she was so beautiful and glowing and now I can see how incredibly sad she is. This is heartbreaking 😔 You have to cut all ties and try to move on then you can love someone again. I know that seeing him move on and be happy with someone else is just gonna do more damage
He looks like he is awkward doing it, but he appreciates her enough to see her and share that moment. But her, she looks devastated, as if she was trying to get ready for that moment for weeks, her eyes just show an incredible amount of love and heartbreak, the way she says “I’m gonna hug you”, as if it was the last.
This breaks my heart. My family made my wedding day absolutely miserable and I never could look back at the photos. I didn’t have a good day at all. I always told myself I didn’t get a wedding but I got a marriage. Now after almost two decades, I feel like I had neither. I thought I was the lucky one. Looking back I was never held, supported, loved for who I am, kissed, touched, I was just burning through my years. I don’t know what will happen to me, to us, but if you are married and still happy never neglect your partner. It will break them like no other thing can. I will continue to count the hours and days and years. I will eventually stop. All my years will be burnt through.
I just believe that couples that stay together for decades will fight for their marriage no matter what. So many people give up too quickly not realizing that there’s going to be issues with every single person you get into a serious relationship with. I just still believe in love even after getting my heart broken so much. I won’t marry someone that can’t promise me to keep fighting even through these times.
He’s playing with her using his body language. He’s looking at her in an adoring way (“friends” don’t typically do that), hugging her tight, kissing her at the end, even though it was just on the cheek. Sure…let’s get her hopes up even higher so she can end up a sobbing puddle on the ground later.
It’s hard for her to fall in love. Her heart is reserved, conservative, old-school. She’s finally fallen in love with him during the course of marriage, given her all, so when he decided the separation, it didn’t only break her heart, it scarred her soul. Very hard for her to mend it. It’s not that she’s fixated on HIM, but she finally managed to fully trust this one man with her love and ~it seems like~ he just threw it away. Now she has to fix that broken heart for quite a while and to trust someone else will be extremely difficult. I feel her. She’s so strong. Not an easy thing the heart, and it’s apparent, she’s holding herself from screaming 1 word to him “WHY?”. Her only remedy is time. What a beautiful, caring and compassionate young lady. Wishing her peace of mind and clarity of the heart ❤❤❤❤❤
I wish my parents could do this. I’m still depressed to this day. I miss having my family all in the same house every day. I miss seeing my mom and dad love each other. As a 21 yr old guy, im not ashamed to say that this article made me cry. To all you parents out there who might read this, please.. PLEASE try to work things out.
I know it’s already happened but before anything, before you decide to divorce the woman or man you vowed to live with till death parts you, remember communication, sometimes it’s misunderstanding or miscommunication so talk, talk to your spouse and understand eachother, respect one another. It always hurts me when ppl get divorced not that my parents have experienced it but if my friends ever get engaged I make sure they make this promise to never leave eachother and remain faithful to one another and more so to communicate so that it doesn’t fail and end in divorce.
People here are saying that “love is a choice and he chose to stop loving her”, I agree she deserves better but I don’t necessarily think that way of thinking is true, I fell out of love with an ex, it was mutual ofc but we were scared, i didn’t want to lose them and chosing to end our relationship to me felt like i was giving up on our relationship. We talked it out and both agreed we were better separate, it was the worst feeling but i knew they deserved somebody who would love them forever.
Im here to share my testimony! I had encounter on July 31, 2021 late night in my bedroom. I had just left my abusive husband ( threatened to kill days prior) police wouldnt do nothing when he showed up at my house because “he didnt touch you” although there was history of TPO’s and police reports. That night in bed I was gripped by intense anxiety. I was terrified he would show up and hurt me this time. I was laying in bed crying and groaning of the fear. I then heard a clear audible voice in my head that was loud enough to hear over my sobbing. He said ” Do you not believe God creator of heaven & earth is more powerful then your husband? I replied through my tears “Yes, Yes I do!” I then cried out to God to help me and protect me and I would live for Him. At that moment a peace that cant be described came over me and I fell asleep the whole night. The next morning I woke up with peace and knew everything would be ok. I know it was the Holy Spirit because at that moment it never occurred to me to cry out to God. After that encounter I have a strong desire to live for Jesus, read bible, pray and live a holy life. My love for Jesus has grown, my faith and a intimate relationship with my Savior is growing deeper by the day❤️🔥 Hallelujah. Praise God.❤❤ John 6:44 and that is what happened that night to me. Since that night everything between my husband is peaceful, still separated but peaceful. My husband never returned to my house nor has laid hands on me. If you knew my husband you wouldnt recognize him now!
“What did you just say to me?” sounds intimidating. It indicates that the listener has to walk on eggshells around the speaker. If someone says “When I say something to you, it’s final”, that implies indoctrination or slavery. Edward is treating Bella like a slave. That’s not how you should treat the person you claim to love.
I went through this with my kids dad. He always had an excuse why he couldn’t find a job and I worked. He was going out with his friends and coming back home bragging who he’s had sex with. I stood up for myself and gave him an ultimatum and told him he had 2 weeks to prove himself to find a job and keep it. He didn’t like that so he wanted a divorce and took all of my family heirlooms etc yet brainwashed our kids to spread lies about me. He was mentally and physically abusive and still tries to do it through social media but uses our kids to do it for him
He says “When I say something, it’s final!”. In other words, “You are to take what I say at face value, even it doesn’t make any sense.” That sounds exploitable. That implies that the speaker treats the listener like a slave. Never force a family member to take your word at face value; that’s psychological violence.
Generation Hope articles are…for me, both entertaining to watch, but also very unhealthy. The world is a cold and cruel place. They tend to bring out the anger I feel toward evil people like that. That character is lucky there’s no hidden cameras, because if I were there, I’d beat the alcohol out of him for treating his newlywed wife that way. Meaningless vows. Bah. If there’s anything meaningless here, it’s the chauvinist ways of this generation. Behavior like that should just fade forever into history.
I want to see a follow up on the article on psycho husband punches bride after their wedding. I need to see him pay, otherwise I will never have any peace ever again. I cannot believe that men could be such cowards, Then it’s not all men and it’s time for real men to stand up against these cowards that shames real men and belittle men overall.
I sincerely hope that this story goes better than the one with the black mother and her son being kidnapped. I don’t mind multipart stories, but I don’t like being strung along simply for views. I don’t mean to be harsh, but these are supposed to be life lessons that help people be and do better. I gave it a thumbs up in the hope that it will end well and soon.
That must one of the stupidest immediate follow-ups to a wedding, ever. If someone knows so very little about their partner that something like that would not only happen, but happen as quickly as that right after a wedding, then that’s really pathetic. Also, some of the blame could be on the woman herself if she said she loves bad boys and jerks, because abusive behavior, whether it would be mental or physical, could be conducive to being that type of person. You can’t say you desire for your partner to be an asshole/bad boy/jerk type, but then not expect them to eventually be abusive towards you one way or another.
When love hits you in the fizzock you have no choice, it’s either strong love or broken heart. My first hubby was abusive…so I went to martial Arts lessons, next time he came home drunk And started to abuse me I let him have it right on the jaw…he took me to court and the judge threw it out…don’t put up with that shit..ladies take Self defence lessons, no matter how big they are There’s always the element of surprise, he won’t even see it coming.. Bless all the females out there
Always tell someone if you’re getting abused, Your Mum, dad, brother, sister, cousins, your best friend anybody. Never hide it! I was in an abusive relationship and my friends were there for me which I am so grateful. It’s never shameful or cowardly to ask for help, it’s more shameful and cowardly to go through the suffering!
thats why I’ll never get married. people are always nice until they trap you, and show their true colors when you’ll have a hard time getting out. my sister went through it too. There’s no such thing as “good relationships”, “true love”, or “happy marriages” anymore. Unless you happen to be a one in a million person that’s lucky to not be cheated on, beaten, or treated like shit.
I know I’m late I watched this a long time ago but I’m just now realizing that the names Edward and Bella is just like Twilight and when Edward carries Bella in his hands that’s the same thing that happened in Twilight but other than that the saddest part was when Bella said ‘Edward please stop this is my mother’s dress. “That was so sad 😢
These type of men or women make me sick. I actually just recently helped a friend of mines from a very toxic n extremely abusive relationship both mentally n physically. She got 2 black eyes n numerous of bruises almost everywhere on her body n she was destroyed mentally. Until after 5 months of suffering God gave her the strength n courage to contact me especially since I was trying to reach her but at first I just thought that she was just busy n didn’t have the time but that wasn’t the case at all her ex bf took her phone away n never gave it back till she found it in his luggage kit n took the opportunity. The guy was actually good at first but it was all an act unfortunately n turned out to be a punk who waits for his opportunity to seclude his victim n then proceeds with his real disgusting intentions. When my friend told me I didn’t believe her at first but the way her voice n how emotional she was… it was just a shock cause she had never been in such a state before n always had a smile n full of positive energy. I winded up getting there in time before that asshole did n talked her into moving out n moving in with me temporarily n so I helped her pack but then I heard someone knocking on the door. I told her to stay in the room n to continue packing while I go check it out. When i opened the door i wasn’t dumb enough to drop my guard cause once i opened the door he at first asked wtf was I doing in “his”. I told him I’m taking a friend out of ur filthy grasp n to safety.
THIS KILLS ME 😕🙁😣😖😫😩🥺😢 Bella is described as a beautiful woman who doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment. If she was mine, I wouldn’t even treat her like that. If she said no, I would respect that. Physically abusing your partner BeCause you can’t have what you want? That is the stupidest reason to even HIT A GIRL! That literally broke me down into tears when she yelled at Edward and screamed at him. I’ve never thought this would be that emotional for me. I’m only nineteen years old Right Now, but I will NEVER treat a wife like this. Even if I want to, I won’t. This isn’t right. It’s really sad that people can’t seem to understand to not physically abuse someone. That breaks my heart So Much! The only thing I would’ve done was when he did carried her inside the apartment. That was the cutest thing in this article, I Swear To God 🥹
EDWARD IS CRAZY THAT JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL OF WHO YOU MARRY CAUSE YOU MIGHT GET HURT. AND THAT’S WHY I DON’T TRUST THOSE ONLINE DATING SERVICES CAUSE THEY MIGHT LIE ABOUT THEIR BACKGROUND CHECK’S. I HOPE EDWARD GETS ARRESTED. AND BELLA GETS REMARRIED AND HER NEW HUSBAND TREATS HER WITH RESPECT AND LOVE.
This sort of thing goes on all to often behind closed doors. I was glad to see the young woman stood up for herself. But in real life if this is happening to you report it to the police in your area, get a restraining order, and call the hotline for the nearest Women’s Domestic Abuse Center. Then leave as soon as you can and go straight too it. You will be safe there. My Mom was a victim for 25 year’s and stayed for us kid’s. Don’t do that.
If you’re grown enough to try to control your wife and put your hands on her, you’re grown enough to make your own food. Abusive people should never date. I dealt with a guy who was verbally abusive to me earlier this year. There was one day when he said wanting to slap me. And he used to call me an idiot, stupid or said I had a mental disorder. I told him once to stop talking to me the way he did and his response was to “then act mature”. The relationship started out great and we started talking a year ago and then 3 months later he started being verbally abusive. We broke up in June and I was happy that we broke up
Never turn a red ear at your spouse’s word. “To turn a red ear” means to respond (to someone’s word) with reprisal, especially violence on top of accusation of backtalk. Also called “to turn an angry ear.” During the 94th Oscars ceremony, Will Smith turned a red ear at Chris Rock’s joke about his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith’s bald head. The Cuban government turned a red ear at the Cuban people’s aspirations for a better future.
Bella was an awesome wife to defend herself to domestic violence. Disobeying that took guts. Edward is a fucking abuser and shouldn’t even have rights to be with a women or anyone. Saying “That’s a good wife” is fucking sick and disgusting. I’d be getting those divorce papers. I hate how in marriage people abuse their partners. Domestic violence makes me gag and want to punch the person who is abusing their partner. I’m glad Bella stood up for herself instead of letting Edward just use her. Saying no to something is not easy and can end with bad consequences.
Abuse & Violence Both Aren’t Always The Answer For Anyone That Really Matters The Most in The Entire World And Besides it’s Heartbreaking To See Such Cruelness Actions Of An innocent Woman Like Bella And Besides Once People Gets Married To Someone Who’s They’re Not Claiming To Be, But A Black Slimy Rattlesnake in Green Grass And Besides Bella Does Not Deserves To Be Mistreated in That Kind Of Way And Besides She’s Totally Deserves Better Without Her Own Sleazebag Husband For What He Has Done in The First Place Beyond Me And Besides Totally Deserves To Be in Jail For His Cruelty & Crimes For Rest Of His Life And Will Buy The Price For it?
