What Is A Complex Marriage?

The Oneida community, a religious group, believed in a system of free love known as complex marriage, where competing sex partners could engage in sexual intercourse but not be attached to each other. This led to the community’s demise. Marriage and family are key structures in most societies, but their connection is becoming more complex. Complex marriage was widely perceived as immoral and unnatural, and Oneida was portrayed as a den of free love and rampant licentiousness.

Marriage is a lifelong partnership between a man and a woman, characterized by love, emotional connection, and shared goals. It serves various purposes, including building families, providing emotional and financial support, and fostering personal growth and fulfillment. The importance of marriage lies in its ability to foster personal growth and fulfillment.

The type of marriage practiced in a society has profound implications for family structures. Monogamous marriages tend to promote nuclear family units, while polygamous marriages can lead to more complex extended family structures. Marriage is a legally recognized social institution that allows any man and woman to cohabit within the limits of the community membership.

In complex marriages, all women were wives of all men, and all men were husbands of all women. Sexual relations were permissible as long as there was mutual agreement and men practiced continence. Stability in marriage requires believing that someone higher than oneself (the Creator) has got you both together.

What was complex marriage as practiced at Oneida?

The Oneida community believed in free love, where anyone could have sex with anyone else who agreed. Noyes believed complex marriage would help the community move beyond exclusive relationships. All the men were thought to be married to all the women. Exclusivity was frowned upon. The community practiced “male continence,” or no ejaculation during sex. Children were raised in a group and didn’t live with their parents. Women over 40 were to be sexual mentors to teenage boys, as these relationships had little chance of conceiving. These women also became role models for young men. Older men also taught young women about sex. Noyes decided who would be in a relationship and often encouraged devout and non-devout people to be together. He hoped that the devout would influence the non-devout.

Everyone in the community could be criticized at a general meeting. They wanted to get rid of bad traits. Some sources say Noyes was criticized too, but not as much as the rest of the community. Charles Nordhoff saw a member called “Charles” criticized.

What is ascending fellowship?

Noyes used his power as a sexual arbiter. He was married but got his main gratification elsewhere. He taught his followers that they should have sex with older people to become closer to God. Boys and girls were assigned older partners after puberty. Teenagers often slept with people in their 50s or 60s, but they could choose partners their own age later. Mr. Klaw says Noyes often slept with 12- and 13-year-old girls. All the men at Oneida were thought to be married to all the women. Many people had two or three partners a week. To avoid pregnancy and to make women happy, the Oneidans practiced coitus reservatus, or male continence intercourse without ejaculation. If couples broke the rule of male continence, they were publicly criticized at group meetings. Child-rearing was also a group matter. Couples could ask to have a child, but the child lived with other people and was raised communally. Thank you for your patience while we verify access. THE SHAKERS / ONEIDA COMMUNITY by Randall Hillebrand, (Part Two)

The founder of the Oneida Community was John Humphrey Noyes. He was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, in 1811. John Humphrey came from a well-off family. His father was a congressman and Dartmouth graduate. His mother Polly was younger than his father and very religious. She taught her children to fear the Lord. She prayed that John Humphrey would become a minister. Before he converted, John Humphrey was known as a troublemaker who didn’t care about theology or his studies. He entered Dartmouth in 1826, the year of the revival under Charles Finney. But it didn’t change him. He was still cynical about religion. Five years later, John’s mother asked him to attend a four-day revival meeting in Putney, Vermont, led by Charles Finney. He wasn’t moved at first, but after the meeting he got a fever and thought about death. He embraced the faith and the idea of the Millennial Kingdom. Later, he studied at Andover and Yale Divinity School to become a minister. While at Yale, Noyes learned about a new way of understanding salvation called Perfectionism. This view did not believe that people are totally bad, but that they can become perfect at conversion. Noyes was denied ordination at Yale Divinity School for teaching that sin can be forgiven at conversion. Noyes said he could not believe he was a sinner because he felt no guilt or despair. He adopted this doctrine as the foundation of his future endeavors.

Why is marriage so complex?

Marriage and relationships are complicated because people don’t communicate well. Relationships can be hard because they’re unpredictable. But marriage and relationships can also be great. Marriage and relationships are difficult for some couples, but not for others.

Finally, different personalities can cause marriage or relationship failure. If two people argue a lot or have different interests, it can be hard for them to stay together. Couples should be compatible before getting married or starting a long-term relationship. If you’re having trouble in your marriage or relationship, get help from a professional. Marriage and family counselors can help couples.

What is complex marriage known as?

Complex marriage. The Oneida community believed in free love, which Noyes is credited with coining. This was complex marriage, where any member could have sex with anyone who consented. Possessiveness and exclusive relationships were frowned upon. Noyes developed a distinction between amative and propagative love. In complex marriage, everyone in the community was married to everyone else. All men and women had sex. The idea of complex marriage came from a passage in the Bible that said there would be no marriage in heaven. This meant that there should be no marriage on earth, but that didn’t mean there would be no sex. But sex meant children. The community couldn’t afford them, and women didn’t want to be pregnant all the time. They made a difference between love for pleasure and love for having children. Propagative love was sex for children; amative love was sex for love. The difference was male continence, where the male partner didn’t ejaculate. Noyes said this kept them from having unwanted children and taught men self-control. The system worked well.

  • The citizens in the States loved Princess Diana as well ..I remember the day she died was the same day we buried my own grandfather and my heart was completely broken in many pieces …never to be repaired.. though we love and respect the Queen ; we truly loved Diana. She was a beautiful woman her whole life and I related to her having been a nursery scho teacher myself

  • Princess Kate gas not put a foot wrong in anything she does,I remember her saying,Prince William is lucky to have her and that says it all,she is phenomenal, dress sense, how she handles herself,I am getting older but would love to see her and Prince William crowned, what an extraordinary couple they are,God bless you and your beautiful children and long may you reign when you get there,xx

  • Diana did everything with the utmost character and grace, a way of dealing with the pressure of living as a princess in the Royal family. Something her youngest son desperately needs to learn as The Duke of Sussex. His wife, who’ll not be named, will NEVER have the capability to capture the hearts of the entire world. Diana had always been put in a difficult position as a young bride to her philanthropic endeavors. She was always her own person, once her marriage began to crumble, until her unfortunate passing. As a “Yank” she felt like my princess too and I looked up to her. I’ll never forget where I was learning she passed. Rest in Peace incredible lady and thank you for your inspiration. 💜💖💜

  • I, as an American have until recently, with the Queen’s passing can’t imagine anyone who can wear the Crown like Queen Elizabeth. She will always be a special woman, whom we were fortunate enough to have enjoyed her special service to her country. It’s a shame how some want the benefits of being a Royal, but don’t want to follow rules.

  • charles has done nothing but attend to his wants and demands; he’ was MADE to do something, he didn’t want to do, by his mother, and his obtuseness regarding Camilla, over and above his Mothers wise counsel, comes before any duty he feels he’s scheduled to do.. for the Crown. If Charles ever took duty and responsibility seriously, Diana would still be here. Facts.

  • I think ultimately Diana was an unfortunate pawn… the intimate sacrifice to keep the family relevant in the minds. I dint think she was ever meant to make it. And who better to sympathize with than a normal person. A princess of people’s hearts. And they succeeded. Years after her death, Di is still one of if not the main draw. Especially now that the queen has passed.

  • HRH Princess Diana should never be compared with any of the other women……simply……Diana was from the House of Spencer Churchill and was a royal in her own right with the expectation of being able to live her life as a respected part of the family and all this was reduced to rubble as if……Diana is incomparable….a stunning English beauty and graceful in body and spirit….not to take away……but to compare is to set a bar too high for the rest…..rip HRH Princess Diana

  • We love ❤Princess Diana, but unfortunately she would be sad to see this documentary, because she loved her both sons and you have not mentioned Harry. We should never judge because we don’t know the real truth or lies, but let me tell you being in the Royal family is not easy, and behind their smile we don’t know the real person. Princess Diana you will always be my queen and loved by everyone.

  • Oh my God! Catherine is so beautiful inside and out! I wish I had her perfect teeth, dimples, and figure!!!! She’s so smart and William is so lucky to have discovered her inner beauty! And her children are being raised to be curious about everyone and everything. With parents like them, those kids will go far in life!! So now, I would love to come up with the money to fix my crumbling teeth! I’ve got the thick brown hair she has, so that’s one thing we share. The cheekbones are the hard part, I guess I could find a wonderfully skilled plastic surgeon to at least get rid of my fat cheeks I’ve had from my early childhood. William, you are such a lucky man with her as your soulmate and your children as beautiful and smart versions of yourself and Princess Kate!! Your whole family has a wonderful future ahead of them. God bless you all 🙏

  • Camilla has has become the Queen of the land but we all know that she has blood in her hands. Knowingly how much damage she was causing in the marriage of Diana, she carried on her love affairs with the then Prince of Wales! Her motivations will always be doubtful. Pity in a way that she might have had genuine love for her prince but to be know as the breaker of prices’s marriage will always follow her.

  • I believe Diana would have been a fantastic partner for Charles, IF he had simply cherished and loved her! Poor Diana only wanted the love and affection of a husband. They would have made a spectacular team if he would ONLY have remained faithful and shown her LOVE. Catherine and William are a team and William doesn’t seem to be jealous of the attention his wife receives. It’s such a shame the world lost Diana….her sons TRULY paid a high price. What a shame!

  • It’s interesting to see how perspectives have shited. I was one who didn’t like the idea of Camilla much. Never a massive fan of Diana at the time, I did feel enormous compassion for her when her marriage began to fail . But Camilla has proved her worth and she and King Charles appear to love and support each other, and as Queen Consort appears to be fulfulling her role admirably. She is slowly shifting the public’s affection towards her with her unpretentious, good-humoured and committed public service.

  • I cannot blame the princess Diana has gone through a lot with this man and this woman when she married him she thought it was for the real thing love and family but sadly this was mistaken the Windsors did not take the time to guide these two young ladies ending yet mother boiled so much Charles that she let him go in there with this other woman behind Diana’s back not how shameful is this for the Windsors to do something like this please two beautiful young ladies it is sad now guess the Rottweiler is back in the castle

  • I honestly wish Charles would have passed on being King and hand things off to the younger generation. No one likes Camilla and the Royal Family needs new invigoration. Charles insisting on having Camilla? Okay, have her but, don’t insist on being King too. William and Kate would have really revitalized those positions and the Royal Family.

  • The only reason that Charles and princes Dianas marriage didn’t work was because they didn’t marry out of true love . They both tried to love each other the way they were meant to but it wasn’t a marriage out of love but necessary. It ruined both there lives but they they got a truly amazing son who will make a strong king and a beautiful strong wife bye his side . On the outside of the coin a treacherous traitor son full of hate and jealousy who married a woman just as cruel and nasty as he is 😥but Edward and Sophie have had a good loving marriage I think Andrew got married because the queen Prince Philip thought it would calm him down but that didn’t work .but in the end Charles finally got to marry the one he always loved . sounds just like the problems many families go through let’s hope everything works out in the end

  • Not a fan of Kate. At all. She’s cold to me now. It’s like they took her soul. And I LOVE z the Queen and I CHERISHED Princess Diana— I had such high hopes. She just for some reason rubs me the wrong way. She comes off as insincere and uncaring. She was so warm before— and now, it’s a totally different person. I think she’s trying to be reserved and most likely taking advice— it doesn’t work for her.

  • She will never be my queen if Charles hadn’t married her she would still be A live to day and for Charles to snub Harry just goes to show what sort of a father he is God be with you Harry your. Mum will always be proud of you And looking over u brother’s should never fall out life is to short because know one knows what is going to happen

  • If Diana had had a Tibetan Buddhist master as a consultant, she would have gained the wisdom to manage her position. As it was, she only had Charles & Carmlle getting their sadist glee from torturing her as their love grew (but only because of that distraction, brought together thru the destruction of a beautiful soul). I don’t know if they knew what they were doing, Charles do wounded from neglect & bully abuse. Don’t know anything about Carnelle, development except that from the looks of her family at the coronation, they were an uneducated sloppy bunch, the socioeconomic equivalent of the court mistress, which is exactly what her foremothers and she herself were…bred to service, not to compete or present themselves as equals at any level/at any time in their development. I hope that SEC is finished now, what a horrible history follows these sirens (ie.Charles is no different than his Uncle, and his 2nd son).

  • He used her and abused her I wouldn’t give you 2 CT for him and that ugly wife of his. What is amazing to me a country who have struggled for years pay for all this BS and loved Diana. Well I might be American but was born in Europe and I adored her and how could you not resist her. Well this was the ultra betrayal both the king and ugly and if you can forgive betrayal you get exactly what you deserve and Diana rest in peace. You were loved and certainly deserved better

  • 1:55-56 The way the lady being interviewed does a literal piece by piece comparison of Sofie and the late Diana was an eye rolling moment. (Her words)… Sofie is short waisted, not tall like Diana, instead of a peachy complexion, Sofie has “quite a bit of freckles” and oh… she needs to wear more makeup like Diana, and watch what she wears…” What a jerk. Nothing like being viewed as if you are legs, arms, torso & a head.

  • Diana and Charles and family were better when Diana was alive. Da alwas represented the Firm with Dignity, grace and beauty. What the press reported was not her fault and May have been Camila’s as Camila was the o ly one who profited. I wish the Queen had stood up to Charles and Camila when she was alive but the Queen did not want to make the future King look bad.

  • You see Charles all Diana wanted is your unconditional love. She made you a man, but you didn’t listen to Diana the most beautiful human being instead you went to wrinkled face Camilla. She may be rich but nothing can make her look like a queen. How sad Charles. In ways you will never understand how much people loved you but you and Camilla ruined everything.

  • The sad this about these marriages have been ruined by the enablers who have given the wrong advice. Instead of welcoming these beautiful young human beings, the royals have destroyed their lives. If Camilla was not in the picture the marriage between Charles and Diana the marriage would have lasted eternally. Charles hasn’t grown as yet. Nonetheless I wish him success as King Charles and better relationship with his two children. How I wish sometimes the queen never listen to the courtiers in the institution.

  • Ya! Poor Diana had nobody to show her! Love or attention or training, most of them turned their nose at her, she wasn’t much more than a young girl when she married Charles and that is what’s so heartbreaking. Just use and abused and tossed out like the trash. Nope it’s unforgivable what happened to her, and the boys with no mother..

  • A source on the show said that America was excited over Sophie because she resembled Diana. That’s a big fat lie. This is a great example of how Brits get misinformation started. Because they think we did, they, without any proof, say we were and openly, that America was in love with Sophie Let’s get this one straight; AT NO TIME IN AMERICAN HISTORY DID WE EVER THOUGHT SOPHIE WOUJD BE THE NEW DIANA OR FiILLED THE GAP THAT DIANA LEFT! Maybe Australia did, but we didn’t. In fact I don’t even recall reading anything about Sophie except what I saw in supermarket tabloids while checking my groceries out. And their wedding wasn’t a big thing either. AMERICA LOVED DIANA. When she came to visit her friends, she didn’t hide out. She combined philanthropic work with her visit. Those visits would be in the news and papers. But what Diana loved was when she was through and said no more pictures, the press left her alone and she was able to enjoy her time with her friends on LongIsland and in California. There were no sneak photographers. The news people respected her privacy, and we were happy when we found she was moving to the US as her base. Harry was the same way. Whenever he was in America ( after his teen years) he was involved in all sorts of works. In fact that’s how Invictus got started because he saw handicapped competitions among children with Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, and all kind of different handicapped children. It must have really impressed him because there was pics of him playing with the kids.

  • All four brides are in the same generation except Catherine who’s from a much younger generation. Camilla is much older, the early baby boomers period ofv1940s, whereas Fergie, Diana & Sophie are the late baby boomers generation of 1960s. Fergie does not look nor age well. Want to know roughly how Diana look aft past two & half decades (25+ yrs) if she’s still alive…👉🏼 just look @ Sophie whom the late Queen loved & was quite close with. They’re both fr the late baby boomers period although Sophie may be just a few yrs younger. I guess God brought Sophie here into the RF during that loss & empty sad period where she the late Queen suffered, faced embarrassment & went thro the three failed marriages of her three older children. Her youngest son Edward’s marriage to Sophie was a great blessing that brought much hope to the BRF Monarchy wch was followed by abt a decade+ later, the sweet enduring love marriage of her grandson Prince William as well as the happy loving low key marriage of her grand daughter Zara & Mike Tindall.

  • Let’s not forget the Queen kept her mouth shut to the many affairs her husband had. Just as she kept the affairs of her son Charles and Camila. Goes to show you it all came out when the Queen passed on. I guess is the difference was how royalty want to pass themselves off as perfect. Also, let’s not forget the Queen herself was not a good mother. This is a perfect example of a dysfunctional family.

  • my god how bloody rude are they about Sophie. She is the only wife of the queens sons that didn’t embarrass the queen. She was one of the closest people to the queen & it’s so awful to hear woman talking about another woman like that. Diana whilst she was a great woman and very good at her charity work, she embarrassed the Queen and she also cheated on Charles, she played the media and used them when she wanted to. Sophie has absolutely been one of the best things that happened to the Royal Family, she i very much like Catherine. Very classy and very loyal, she carries out her duties to the public without any drama and she if very dignified. Between the drama Diana and Sarah brought to the Royal Family you then have Sophie and Catherine who have really been very important to the continuation of the Royal Family. And then you have Megan Markle who is the worst thing to ever happen to the Royal Family. Both Harry and Megan should be striped of there titles, Diana was stripped of her HRH when she got divorced and whilst she did bring a degree of drama to the Royal Family she would be disgusted in Harry and Megan and what they are doing to William, what everyone seems to forget is it wasn’t only Harry who lost a mom, and after the BBC eventually apologised about the Panorama interview and admitted they lied to Diana, William issued a statement saying they didn’t ever want any of that interview to be aired and what have Harry and Megan put in there disgusting documentary they have used that interview.

  • I think folks need to take a more realistic view of the history of the monarchy and mistresses. Some of the most capable and powerful women in history began as mistresses. Camilla tried to do right by the monarchy and remain in the background and in her place. She has behaved respectfully and discretion. She and king charles deserve support

  • I hope governments in all countries to unite bridge pillars as high as one or two meters so that if a car hits a bridge support it can still slide not as badly as a car hits a bridge pillar so that an accident hitting pillar like what happened to princess Diana does not happen again sorry and thank you

  • Camila purposedly wanted to be the Queen not only the spouse of Charles . She has affairs with Chatles since and before Diana became the princess of Wales . She is a woman of great patience to obtain what she wants but not a woman of good character, if she were, she must have stayed away from Charles, not to have caused Charles and Diana to separate . A really nice woman never wants to break the heart of a woman too much younger than her, cruel enough to destroy happiness of the other especially she s herself also married .Diana was too young, and not mature enough to keep husband while Camila is quite experienced as a men killer . Its totally wrong to say that shes has a good character . Charles and Camila are the selfish people, only want to satisfire themselves, not care about the others . Elizabeth is a Western woman but she is exactly like Asian women in China, Vietnam, Asian in the last millennium, they only cared their children s happiness and they were too severe, cold, cruel to their daughters in law

  • Fergie copied Diana, Camilla tries to be Diana’s clone, wears dresses like her, jewels like her, hair like her. It wasn’t enough for Camilla to destroy Diana’s life, she took everything, her life. It is sickening, although I think Charles loves her steadfastness, she’s bawdy, gawdy, different in private. She may be elderly now, but it’s still what Camilla wants Camilla gets. Strange how Andrew Parker Bowles and his wife were at their coronation. Had Diana lived, would she have been invited?

  • My prediction is Charles will retire within 3 years to give W the throne. Charles made his history, but will want to retire as a country gentleman. The pace is too fast and the world has changed so much during Charles “waiting.” William and Kate, younger and in their prime, will be gloriously welcomed to lead the British in the 21st century. Now, 9 mo later, KC is being treated for cancer. His reign won’t be long. And, Camilla won’t be but a footnote.

  • Princess Diana will forever be in our hearts. She’s a beautiful soul inside out. No wonder why she captured the world with her beauty and empathy for others. You gotta give it to Camilla for staying by Prince Charles from being his mistress to Queen Consort/wife. Prince William made a great chose of a wife. He learnt from his parents divorce and made sure that they will be together through thick and thin.❤ Sophie has stepped up to the plate as well. We know what Harry has chosen for himself and that’s something that the jury is still out. 😢

  • If there’s anybody to blame for the breakdown of Charles and Diana‘s marriage, it is and always will be the monarchy itself. And it’s quiet and fair. If you think back to Princess Margaret and you go forward it is not at all fair you can’t possibly make yourself decide who you fall in love with it happens and 11 match is always going to be better than some arranged marriage some peoples arranged marriages actually do thrive. It has happened, but as a general rule 11 match is always better and punishing Charles for simply following his heart and Camila as well. Let me initiative she had that commitment if anyone is more to blame then it’s going to be hurt but then again, he also ended up with a commitment. They both were to blame now Diana has passed away and everyone moves forward. It’s time to get over it and let them live out the rest of their lives, and leave the judging at to the only one that is allowed to you and that person is our God Jehovah.

  • This narrator seems to be indicating that Princess (now Queen) Diana wanted to separate and be a single mother. When in reality if Prince Charles hadn’t wasted time and energy on screwing a worthless side piece, the marriage would have likely been successful and Diana would still be alive and have her rightful place as Queen Consort Diana. However, the Queen of the Adulterers shows there is “hope for all side chicks everywhere”. Insane.

  • Why would Charles leave Diana for Camilla. I believe he is a very cruel man, was an adulteress, and he used the beautiful extra event Princess Diana. Charles is a cruel man. He couldn’t let her live which is absolutely selfish. I believe an accident happened but I strongly believed that Charles has to do with it. Come on Charles live and let life. Dodi was way better looking then Charles. What a cruel man king Charles is and Camilla should be ashamed of herself and King Charles was Avery cruel man all he wanted was heirs. Princess Diana was a beautiful lady and cameras love to see a beautiful woman unlike Camilla and King Charles and he the king couldn’t handle that Diana was way to popular than king Charles and Queen Cinder Camilla.it would of been more practical for charles to stay with this beautiful Princess Diana instead of that weird looking Queen Consort. Princess Diana your had class and was absolutely beautiful…

  • All my siblings marry spouses chosen by my parents & relatives. Even lst cousins were encouraged. Now l really see their point. Just to make sure none are mentally or emotionally disturbed in nature. Look at Harry & old 🥜 Meg4D. Both mental case, yet palace can approve? Crazy.. Harry should have taken Thomas Markle Junior Warning letter seriously b4 the wedding. Anyway, Thomas Junior should have passed the letter to British Embassy & address it to HM the Queen. She was old, but was able to reign over Britain & Commonwealth. I believe the King would be so grateful if she had stopped the marriage & checked if old 🥜 Meg4D was truly pregnant as she claimed to be. Crazy old barren Woman. Difficult.

  • Fresh air Ferguson and Diana they were breath of pressure in The Royle Family that’s what they needed professor in The Royle Family that’s what Deanna and Duke and Duchess of York and the Princess of Wales affects a lot of pressure in the royal family a lot of fresh air in the royal family to change by they’ve got to change by example how to change by example the Royal wives of Windsor and the Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen Mother they’ve all got a change by example they’ve got to do everything by the change of example how the royal family’s run I’ve got to change by example

  • They lowered the Standards for a homewrecker. It’s been Said She didn’t meat RoyakbStandards to marry, her look ect…..she’s not one bit good looking a face-lift didn’t even help her. Yet the queen gave into Scandalous Charles LOWERING the standards. Princess Di was to good for Scandalous. She knew she should not marry him knowing he was still seeing homewrecker. Di was more than fit for Royal duty Scandalous needed a baby breeder and victimized Di. The family wasn’t good enough for Di.

  • Meg, was a beautiful bride as well, and Harry was very handsome, how sad that protocols, get in between family, Meg and Harry will always be part of the Royal, family, I hope that things can be worked out between, William,And Charles, You only have one life,One time,to get it Right, 💙 I am quite disappointed in the rift of Harry and William, as For Charles, well,no Comment,

  • Remember Princess Diana when she came to Chicago Cook County Hospital my friend was a doctor so I was invited to jin the activities. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and she loved her beloved children William and Harry. Prince Harry Duchess Megan I absolutely love you both and the little ones the prince and princess. May God continue to bless your marriage your family and those beautiful children Keep doing what you are doing to help bring our worlds together. God speed.

  • Such a load of tosh. Charlie’s love didn’t even make it to the engagement. Diana was popular after the divorce. She wasn’t alone as their marriage been on the rocks for yrs so she had her group of friends. I think one of worst rf programmes I’ve seen and I have seen a lot. Sarah didn’t come off so well but at least her and Andrew stayed together for kids and money.

  • If only God was brought into their marriage life, l believe it will be a different story. My church members are All still living with their married spouses. They have God in their marriage & we singles too do not interfere with their squabbles. It’s a growing stage into reality as they makes adjustments along the way. We just pray for eachother.

  • My my times have changed. This is produced like a clucking set up women in a beauty parlor. Time moves on. We expected KC Ill not to date or remarry. Yes, I loved Princess Diana. We also know she was not perfect. A total group of moralists who probably sin in their own life. “He who is without sin, let them cast the first stone “, ▪️ Christ Jesus, the first Christian.💜 Queen Consort Camila has done many public works. She has helped keep the monarchy going now during the King’s cancer treatments and the Princess of Wales’ illness.

  • David Starkey’s best IMO. Great archival witnesses. Endowed with common sense, still, and some pre woke values. Prince Charles handled his life badly considering his position. His commitment to his role remains unclear. At the end, it shows a divorce gone bad which keeps growing all the way to Harry’s situation. Charles wanted the cake and eat it too and that is arrogance and self entitlement to the extreme. Hints of Harry? Why did they not go for a morganatic marriage? She looked like my English mother-in-law on Xmas eve with that crown. I think we are all tired of that fairy tale gone bad, divorce and drama. It is painfully common. We all have our own dramas to deal with. The RF cannot be so exhausting! Behave please!

  • Diana’s wanted the attention. Charles understood her Narcissist Characteristics. Diana first practiced infidelity and all her shenanigans feigning illness was just another unfaithful wife’s smoke screen. She abandoned Charles emotionally and her guile took her on a path of deceit. Ironically, Diana’s penchant for deceit led her to lead a chase in Paris, culminating in her violent death. A bystander, at the Alla Tunnel described the Mercedes Benz speed and engine revving, « roared with a fury of the Hounds from Hell. » That description always intrigued me. At the time Diana’s soul exited her body, Mother Theresa’s soul left this earth. The juxtaposition of these two renowned women is interesting. One truly embraced the « least », as a way of life. The other wanted us to believe it was her priority, but always invited the Paparazzi to her photo ops. God, thank Him, will execute the Final Judgment

  • it makes me angry when most the docos make charles out to be the man who wronged his wife .diana is as much to blame she had affairs when he was away .no one can take away credit she eraned with her charity work . she was great at helping charities ect but she is to blame as much as charlie is .takes 2 to tango .
