What Is A Cpn In Marriage?

A Credit Privacy Number (CPN) is a nine-digit number that looks like a Social Security Number (SSN) and is often marketed as a solution for people with less-than-ideal credit or as a way to keep their social security number private. However, CPNs are not issued or recognized by the government and are fraudulent attempts to use an individual’s credit without their consent. They are primarily used by businesses for credit reporting and are not recognized by the government.

CPNs can be marketed as a quick fix for bad credit or a way to hide an individual’s financial past in order to obtain new credit cards and loans. While using a CPN for privacy purposes is legal, using it to deceive creditors by presenting it as an SSN is illegal. This includes using a CPN when applying for apartment or phone accounts, utility bills, and credit cards.

A CPN number is also known as a credit profile number, credit privacy number, or even a secondary credit number (SCN). It can be issued by council officers, police, and must detail that a breach of a CPN is a criminal offense.

In conclusion, CPNs are a fraudulent means of diversion marketed as a solution for those with poor credit history by providing a new, false credit identity. While using a CPN for privacy purposes is legal, using it to deceive creditors by presenting it as an SSN is illegal.

  • CPNS are not illegal. Its only illegal if you use it for the wrong reasons and by not paying off your loans under that CPN. under Title 5, section 7 pub law 93-579 of the government organization and employee act. It was created for people that want to keep their details private and for witnesses and government officials. It’s ok to use it for a credit card. knowledge is power.

  • my sister, I am a blind man who can’t see you, but I subscribe to your YouTube website because you did a very great job of explaining stuff and it was very informative because I never really understand what a CP and is at all, and I have my 803 credit score today for a man who is on disability, Social Security! I would love to personally be able to talk to you to hear some of the wisdom that you talk about and put me on more games because I run a nonprofit as well and I have some business credit also, but want to stay up everything, whether it’s Social Security number or a I NOTIN, like you said, or even CPN! Where can I find it out more about to CPN just so I would have the knowledge about that my sister??? article was very awesome and I hope that you respond to me!!!!!!! God bless you😊😂😂😂❤

  • I am 59 years old when I found all of this out today. I don’t know who figured out how to do this but I’m going to continue with a clear conscience and struggle through a hardship I have to pay off things or get my credit straightened out. I can’t believe people are doing this s*** why would they risk it? Well thanks for all this info you are very informative.

  • Hey sis. Bless you times 100. I don’t want to do bad things that I’m not supposed to be doing like buying shit with fake numbers. I just want to get a decent job so I can live my life too. Yah I made some mistakes in the past. But I did my time and that shouldn’t be affecting me years after it happened. I was starting to feel like I had to accept that the government just doesnt want people to change their lives. If they did it wouldnt be so hard for those of us that want to be good people to be good people to easier. But this gave me a sliver of hope that im not destined to struggle and have nothing. Maybe I can get a decent job I can feel okay about. I want to change my future, but they don’t want people with drug possessions to even live let alone thrive. Can you point me in the correct direction so I can get this started? I want mine to be as legit as possible too. I’m not trying to open accounts and not pay for them. I’m just trying to get a decent job.

  • Love your energy and dreds by the way but…. I feel that they are very necessary. I know people who have used them ( not abused them) and they’ve been very fortunate, even life changing in a good way. They did it to start a business and now they’re doing really good. Nothing government tho🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

  • I used my ti get my apartment these articles are so confusing I’m scared to use it for anything else but I got it to get me a apartment I wasn’t gonna use it for anything else sense I’ll be working on my credit but I sure could use a credit card I just need a fresh start but I don’t even no where to start 🤦🏾‍♀️

  • With all due respect Shamika, you really should study the difference between public and private, how bonds fund society, how Monetary control mechanisms expand and contract the money supply via borrowing and discharging (in reference to your “somebody has to pay for it” statement) and how the Social Security Number is a government benefit and privilege for infants which is what you don’t want (in reference to the CPN is not you statement, …neither is the SSN). You NEVER, EVER want to use your Social Security Number, EVER, after you reach the age of majority. Your parents are to use it to get you to the age of 18. You only use CPNs and EINs with businesses and trusts after 18 or you are considered a minor in perpetuity. You shouldn’t be receiving stimulus checks or any benefits period. There is no free lunch! At the end of the day just don’t abuse the CPN. You have some good tips, but some things you mentioned are throwing people into the wrong direction… I’m truly not trying to bash, as your efforts are commendable. Please take as constructive advice for future articles that you may need to do more due diligence.
