What Is A Panini Wedding?

A Panini wedding is a modern and interactive dining experience that offers guests a unique and personalized dining experience. Panini is an Italian-style sandwich made on Italian bread, typically prepared on a bread roll or rustic bread. The term “panini” refers to a stuffed-bread sandwich, with the singular form of the word being panino. Panini originated in Italian sandwich shops called “paninoteche” during the 1960s and gained popularity in larger cities like Milan. Paninis became widely prevalent in the United States during the 1970s.

Panini Bakery is a small, family-owned business located in Dallas near the Park Cities. Pastry Chef/Owner Jeff Rotundo started Panini Wedding Cakes in 1994 after working in hotels, restaurants, and corporate settings. In 2000, the retail location of Panini Bakery was opened, and over the years has become a tradition.

A classic panini comprises three fundamental components: bread, filling, and condiments, each playing a crucial role in elevating the overall flavor and texture. Bread is the foundation of a panini, and it is a great choice for weddings where a more casual atmosphere is desired.

Pnina Tornai, a world-renowned bridal and eveningwear designer, brings a new and fresh design approach to bridal gowns, offering classic, yet sensual, and unique designs. Pnina Tornai’s gowns usually feature many beading details that make the gown look luxurious.

Guests can create a sensory experience by creating a panini reception, which includes a party-like atmosphere and a variety of panini designer wedding dresses.

  • To my surprise I really liked some of these dresses. A few were too old fashioned with the poofy sleeves, and I didn’t like the one that was short skirt in front, long in back. I loved the black dress with the sparkling stockings and shoes. I will also say this, they’re prettier than those in her see through corset trend. But, it will be very interesting to see what Kleinfelds actually ends up showing to brides and what the brides actually buy from this collection.

  • I have followed his designs on ‘Say yes to the dress’ . Truly if I had known of his beautiful wedding gowns back in the 1972’s. Trust me, it would have been one of my first choice. However, back in the day, all we had was the wedding magazines in which I had my dress created. Love your absolute beautiful creations and how you make every bride feel amazing and beautiful. Xxx

  • Generous that she brought others on the stage with her, don’t know if they were family or part of the working family. She is a queen in the bridal world. Lets face it though most people don’t look like models. There are many older brides with not a perfect body even some who are “obese in their terms”, but they still want quality wear especially on their day. Would like to see more Designers embrace these lady’s.

  • I couldn’t watch more than 5 minutes I didn’t get even 1% feel of bridal or femininity. The models walk with arms to the outside like soldiers going to war. No finesse at all. And this see through looks like undergarment and they forgot to wear the dress. Even the music is not one inch romantic. To create doesn’t necessarily mean to sabotage the old.

  • *******I really like some of PT’s designs throughout the years. But this whole collection I didn’t like. None of the dresses satisfy my taste. Probably the last one, the black, gave a bit of tickling, but even she couldn’t wash the bitter feeling from the previous mediocre designs. Well, that’s just my opinion. I wish miss Pnina all the best and may for the next collection her precious Muse gave her bigger wings to spread and satisfy her own great talent.

  • Actually, I’m not liking these dresses as much as I thought I thought I would. She has moved to some variety in her dresses not all being corset-like with a lot of ‘see through’. It feels like her designs are moving along = good progression. But on the whole just a few basic designs here with different materials and baubles. Maybe I’m just not feeling it today.

  • Not the best fashion show I’ve seen to date. I agree with others that the music was awful. They all look cheap…some are skanky…definitely not wedding appropriate. It’s the designs that make you look cheap if we were to wear any of them. Most of these are too low cut on the top (it would be a boob show instead of a beautiful bride walking down the aisle and fabric is not the best…I didn’t like any of them. I live in Japan and literally no one here would reach out for any of the dresses neither my circle of friends in other countries in the west. I’ve seen some of her dresses on normal girls and not on models like these and I never cared for them. I just watched the clip because it came in my feed but yikes, I now know I do not like this designer. Distasteful.

  • When they first showed the sample dresses I thought: “He asked you for two things: it should look like fiftys and be short so that she can dance. I don’t know if they’re fiftys style but those are all LONG dresses, why?” Glad they found a solution in the end, that fitted the show. But I also really liked the sketch the costume designer showed in the beginning because it fitted the fiftys theme better so I didn’t really understand why they had to cooperate in the first place. 🤔

  • This was nothing but promo for Pnina and the Broadway show. I’m 95% sure that Kleinfield’s already had a dress that matched the costume designer’s initial sketch, just from a designer that Kleinfield’s doesn’t have a lucrative partnership with. Pnina’s sketch and dress were nowhere near the 1950s style that the costume designer initially envisioned. 👗

  • I have often said to myself that the top of a wedding dress here looks like a corset. Finally I figured out that the designers told themselves that most brides need a corset, so why not just add a skirt to the corset and forget the dress? Saves time and money. The gown seen at 3:37 is a good example. I’m glad she rejected it.

  • Now this was a very classy slow with Randy. Why we needed to have Pnina there was weird; she’s the last person who would know anything about true costume design. A Broadway costume designer would dance circles around her. Randy is a listener and cooperative type of designer; he has a far broader understanding of the theatre. just saying…

  • How does a Broadway show need Kleinfeld’s for a wedding dress, when any Broadway show likely has a more than adequate costume department that can produce a bespoke dress in stage-friendly fabrics for far less money and in far less time? Not to mention, they had a pretty detailed drawing ready to go when Randy visited the theater. I’m hoping this was a publicity stunt, for a variety of reasons.

  • Who has Randy Finoli in to then have a Panina made dress. No, Sorry, but that’s kinda rude, you should of just had Randy make your dress. 1, it wouldent look like everything you have seen a million times, and 2, it would of looked way better and more the 50s look and fit the part. Better straps, and fit, nicer beading and at least a full skirt. Whole show about a dress that sucked. Poor Randy, -don’t associate him with that cheap costume.
