I think, many of us, who came here, went through the things that ppl shouldn’t go through in our age. I have fulfilled something great, my art teacher puts on songs that students request so it usually rap/pop/whatever stupid stuff people like. So I requested a bunch of FOB, P!ATD, MCR, BVB, PTV, SWS, and other bands and everyone was bitching about Savior when it came on and I was just silently head banging… when the last part came on everyone just shut up and complained after… it was worth it though
This song is so beautiful, and I’ve always loved it. Both Savior and Savior 11 speak to me. When I first heard this, I broke down in tears bc I’ve been to Hell and back. Lost my dearest friend, my soul sister 5 years ago. Left and abusive marriage and raising 2 boys on my own with no support. If I didn’t have my son’s, music and Supernatural. I wouldn’t be here.
My niece introduced me to this band because we were in the same boat. Contemplating suicide in late 2013. We’re both musicians but she can sing, sung a little of this song only to get me to have tears. I could hear hers. Bree got me hooked and when I bought this CD then, I listened and listened with my musician ear loved all the songs but this one stood out. This song makes me cry so much, when I discovered Black Veil Brides my Godfather had been given the death sentence of 12 weeks due to cancer, when I discovered them I felt like I wasn’t alone and people were here for me. I felt like they loved me because I felt I had no one because I was being bullied. When I graduated and moved to the high school I’m at now I struggled with more bullying but the great part was my godfather got better, I was singing and acting. Then in 2018, I had a breakdown which Black Veil Brides saved me from ending it all, then things started to turn around then in 2019 my godfather’s wife passed from cancer. I was so angry, I put their music on and started screaming. 2020 started off great I found love which ended quicker than it started. I decided to just focus on my studies and sing in my band I got into then in march they found more cancer taking up the entirety of my godfather’s body, I started harming again and losing myself in the pain. But quickly remembered BVB and how they wouldn’t want me to do that, then he started to get better I thought my screams to God were heard, and then in July my godfather got worse, I was so scared. I was crying all the time, failing school, pushing my best friend away. In August my mum took me on a holiday so I could get away from everything, on the last night of the trip I’m called home because my friend had ended his life. I remember screaming why was everything going wrong, what had I done to deserve this. I had gotten back with my ex and he was helping me through the pain.
I know that over the years my music taste has changed but I still listen to them because when I went to middle school I had gotten bullied and went through a lot and this band really and truly helped me through all of it and I love them and their music even the new songs and I love the progress that the band is making and will continue to make because they taught me to always be myself💙💜🖤💙💜🖤🖤💜💙💙

Remember also that God is love. He will dwell in your hearts by his Holy Spirit. Do you want true love inside of you? Ask Jesus to save you & fill you with the Holy Spirit. Don’t be deceived by false saviors, who only lead you away from the true Savior. Remember that Satan comes as an angel of light. Don’t be deceived. Guard your heart with all diligence & be careful what / who you give your heart to.
