What is the song from Corpse Bride called?
“Remains of the Day” is one of four main songs in the 2005 stop-motion animated film Corpse Bride. It was composed by Danny Elfman. The song is the second in the movie and vital to the plot. Bonejangles (voiced by Danny Elfman) introduces the song with the following lyrics: It’s a tragic love story with a murder. Then, Bonejangles and other skeletons from the Land of the Dead sing the song with a fast and jazzy melody. The lyrics explain how Emily, the film’s main character, died. In the song, Emily was a beautiful, wealthy, and talented young woman who had many suitors. One of them was a mysterious stranger who is later revealed as a murderous con-artist named Lord Barkis Bittern. Emily liked Barkis, but her father wouldn’t let her marry him because he was poor. Barkis made Emily marry him. She wore her mother’s wedding dress, took her family jewels, and a bag of gold. She went to the churchyard at night. He killed her, took her jewels and money, and hid her body under an oak tree. In death, Emily vowed to stay there until her true love comes to set her free. Victor does this when he marries Victoria.

What is Victor’s piano solo inspired by?
I love the music in Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride! One of the best examples is Victor’s piano solo at the beginning. It’s a piece inspired by the Moonlight Sonata. It shows his full character and connects him to Victoria. I watched Corpse Bride on an airplane around this time last year. I love the animation style, atmosphere, simple storyline, and characters (the Black Widow and maggot are my favorites). With Halloween coming up, I wanted to record a cello version of some of the soundtrack. Watch for another video in a few days!

Am I the only fucking one who liked the ending? I do not think Emily was his true love, I think he felt sorry for her and loved her in a very different way to Victoria. Does no one realise Emily was in Purgatory, Limbo? Everyone around her had clearly been murdered, killed in battle or died before their time. At the end her killer died, and she could finally be at peace. If she had killed Victor she could never move on, and she might have trapped him in everlasting death with her – slowly rotting over time. It’s the most beautiful ending I’ve ever seen and I like how his feelings for Victoria, love at first sight, did not change.
I’ve only seen the movie once or twice, but I have always viewed it as a cinematographic masterpiece. The music and the storytelling, the visual arts. It is masterfully cradled and crafted to perfection with an easy view for understanding. The music lets you unlock the door to the feelings of the characters and is both beautiful and somber, a perfect blend. I could go on and on, but let me just say, props to the filmakers, and props to you, The Wild Conductor. Edit- I also think it is interesting how he gave Emily and Victor’s parts each other’s colors. He wore different suits for the two parts, but he gave Victor’s black suit to Emily’s part, and Emily’s blue color scheme to Victor. Nice little detail.
Ironic. I know a guy since 2016 his name is Victor. I fall in love with him since then. But we started to talk last year in October maybe. I was happy. Then a few days ago I saw him with a girl. They were flirting. When he saw me he was expecting me to said goodbye. He was with her at that moment. I just walked without looking at him. It was sad and the only thing that came to my mind was… “I love you victor but you are not mine”. Seriously it broke my heart.
“With this hand I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.” If my future husband says this to me to ask him to marry me like I said first of all future husband so yeah I would say yes

🎵 “If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain. If you cut me with a knife it’s still the same. And I know her heart is beating. And I know that I am dead. Yet the pain here that I feel, try and tell me it’s not real. For it seems I still have a tear to shed… If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain. In the ice or in the suns it’s all the same. Yet I feel my heart is aching though it doesn’t beat its breaking. And the pain here that I feel try and tell me it’s not real. I know that I am dead yet it seems that I still have some tears to shed.” 🎵
I’ve spent so long in the darkness, I’d almost forgotten how beautiful the moonlight is. I watched it today. This line just made me feel that I’m lucky to be alive. It made me go outside and search for the moon. I really got amazed, moon never looked this much beautiful. I wonder why my heart aches so much for Emily. Am I the only one?
