Why do brides cry?

Crying at weddings is about letting go of the past and embracing change. It’s like saying goodbye to the old and starting a new adventure together. It’s bittersweet, leaving what’s familiar but also exciting to step into the unknown. When you cry, it’s like shedding your old skin and starting anew. It’s a moment of letting go and starting anew. Crying at weddings marks the start of something wonderful. The beauty of crying at your wedding. When you start crying, others will too. It’s like a wave of emotions that sweeps through the crowd. You won’t be the only one crying.

Does a bad wedding mean a bad marriage?

A beautiful wedding doesn’t guarantee a beautiful marriage. A bad wedding doesn’t mean a bad marriage. A bad wedding was the best thing that could have happened to my marriage. If I’d had a perfect day, I’d have been in trouble. Instead, I got over the post-wedding blues and started investing in my marriage. The rest of our lives. And? So far, so good! My advice to brides-to-be: I want to suggest going back to basics with small, humble celebrations. For appreciating the little things and working hard on the big things. And accepting that how you mark life’s milestones doesn’t dictate the path ahead.

What is wedding shaming?

Wedding shaming is when you make fun of someone else’s wedding just because it’s different from yours. I’ve been guilty of this. It’s not cool.

How to recognize wedding shaming. Wedding shaming is making fun of someone else’s wedding just because it’s different. I’ve done it. It’s not cool. As a platform for the unusual and different, we should respect other people’s choices too. With so many people feeling pressure to have the perfect wedding, it can be easy to judge other people’s wedding decisions when we don’t understand them. If you find yourself judging others, just ask yourself if you would do the same to them. Don’t judge others’ choices. Keep your opinions to yourself. If you don’t have nice things to say, don’t say them! This seems to disappear when it comes to weddings. People love to give unsolicited advice. Sadly, most wedding shamers keep their opinions to themselves but share them with others.

  • “Life gets even better when the kids fall asleep…” With the kids right there. He said that with the kids right there. As a kid, I would have seen this as my dad saying he would rather me not be around him. It would have crushed me as a child, and I bet I would have had those words playing in my mind for the rest of my life. Some things my parents said a decade ago still affect me in adulthood.

  • His vows really bring me back to the whole “the gays can’t stop talking about sex and want to indoctrinate the kids!!” when he’s objectifying and stereotyping his wife in front of his two daughters and everyone is just laughing it off… Also, it’s not a good sign when she said “Thank you for loving me still….in the way that you do…”

  • i was exposed to sexual concepts when i was very young (5 or 6), and although it was always verbal and never visual or physical, it impacted my perspective of sex and it still does today. my case was pretty severe, but even then, kids are malleable. they pick up on shit, and things affect them into their later life, even if they don’t always understand or even remember it. knowingly exposing your children to this is disgusting and is most certainly going to affect them when they get older.

  • The saddest part about the “husband is so clearly misogynistic even in a short article” trope (can I call it a trope? I feel like it is) is that the wife will always defend them to the grave, saying “you don’t know him” “he’s funny like that” “ugh it was just a two minute clip.” When in reality, we don’t need any more context to see that was super not okay and uncomfortable. In fact, we’ve seen this dynamic many, many times with other super shitty men! Hope she wakes up and realizes he is not the one for her. Yuck.

  • Her speech: “but thank you for loving me ‘still’, ‘the way you do’”; “You are literally making the fairytale I always dreamed of come true, well, ‘maybe a little funnier than I imagined”; And finally: “but it’s still way more than I could ever ask for”. He’s been putting her down all these years 100%

  • her: “i am not good enough for you” “i am not attractive” “I am not good at cooking” “i am honored you ALLOWED me in your life” him: “i need a woman who can cook” “I would leave you for another more attractive woman” “i am putting you in your place at our wedding so that your support group sees you as the problem” SHE NEEDS OUT OF THERE

  • They’ve been together for 10+ years and the bride is so goddamn brainwashed that she doesn’t realise how abusive this is. I hope she comes to her senses soon Edit: also I have to disagree, we absolutely should get hemmroids over this because he has two daughters and they’re gonna grow up seeing their mom being abused and they’ll think treating women like this is okay. And he’s probably gonna treat them like shit too

  • I went to a wedding where the vows were similar to the groom’s in the tiktok. It was vile and misogynistic and the bride looked like she was about to cry. A bunch of guests did a walk out and she followed quickly after. They’re not together anymore. Apparently he had written some genuinely beautiful vows but did a last minute switch up as a ‘joke’. Also, the bride’s vows made me emotional. It’s so clear she loves him and it’s devastating.

  • I would literally rush the altar/stage and tackle him if he said this about my daughter in front of her grandparents, children, friends, coworkers, etc. This was HUMILIATING and a calculated move on his part. You can tell that her self esteem has been chiseled away at and there’s almost nothing left now. Also, his “vows” were NOT appropriate for the children they mentioned were in the audience! Not OK!!

  • Yeah I think the biggest thing is that if they both had of had crass lines it probably still would have blown up in a “why the fuck would you do this at your wedding” way, but without the back and forth it very quickly became a “that is a man child who is actively degrading you in front of all your friends and family and you need to run” situation.

  • This is definitely a narcissistic, emotionally abusive, incredibly manipulative relationship, and it just crushes me to hear her degrade herself like she would be absolutely nothing without this sorry excuse of a man. I really hope she’s able to get out of it sooner rather than later, but like you said, it’s her journey to take, not ours, so we can only hope for the best. It makes me so sad for her though.

  • Weddings are so cringy nowadays, or maybe they always have been and I’m just seeing them more on social media. Last year I went to a wedding and literally every family member’s speech was telling the bride and groom to hurry up and start boning so they could pop out some kids. Several times it was implied the groom wouldn’t be a man if he couldn’t impregnate his wife. The grooms brother could barely get through his speech because he was laughing/crying so hard about if his bro couldn’t knock up his wife he’ll get him a Turkey baster to get the job done. All of the speeches were cringe and gross and kind of took away from the wedding.

  • I’d like to point out that while he, in his “vows”, made that “unless Margot Robbie gave me a chance” comment, she, in her vows, made the exact opposite comment and said that she would continue to choose him every day for the rest of her life. Even if his was just an awkward and tone deaf joke, that’s still really gotta hurt.

  • I’ve been to all kinds of weddings and heard all kinds of vows but that’s the first time I’ve felt bad after hearing the vows. He’s an emotionally abusive, self-centered, immature, sex-obsessed creep and her self-esteem is so low that if it were a person, Deep Roy would tower of them. The ones I really feel bad for are their daughters, with parents like these, they’ll be putting some therapist’s kids through college, graduate school, and several post doctorate degrees.

  • I hope their daughters will grow up to realize how disgusting their father is and help their mother realize the same and they can all escape him. I truly hope that is what’s going to happen – and I hope they will share those news with us in the future. I know I for sure will remember and think of these girls for years to come.

  • the fact she knew he would’ve included models in his vows is so sad. I feel bad that she has to deal with his selfishness. Regardless if it was a joke, that was supposed to be one of the best days of their lives and he turned it into a haha silly moment and actively sexualized and insulted her while she sweetly and adoringly proclaimed her love for him

  • This guy is that one dude in the big friend group that all the women hate because he’s inappropriate and makes them uncomfortable, and all the men hate because he thinks sex is a whole personality trait. The bride is oblivious to everyone being like “oh I hope Stacy doesn’t bring Michael, I hope- CRAP he’s here! 💀”

  • If anybody in the comments were like “iTs A jOkE” y’all do realize that there’s a time and place for those kind of jokes right?? Also the amount of times my jaw has dropped perusal this…and I know how you feel about weddings, but personally I’ve dreamed of mine since I was little (still waiting🥲) and I can’t even imagine the man I’m finally marrying saying that stuff to me in his vows in front of FAMILY…

  • You know that idea about one person in a relationship being “the settler”? They both seem to think he’s settling for her when she’s the one settling for him. I usually don’t like to talk about people this way but she is much hotter than her husband and in a short amount of time has also proven to be kinder, more humble, respectful, have decorum and to value those around her. Every nice and normal thing he put in his vows felt like something a sister or cousin had to make him add in so it sounded more legit. I usually don’t like reading too deeply into clips but the fact that he did this at their wedding speaks volumes. I just hope she’s happy and safe.

  • I truly hope she’s okay and the relationship doesn’t get worse.. as someone who was in an emotionally abusive relationship for two years, you truly cannot see the extent of how terrible it was until you’re out. I hope that, at the very least, she can someday see the inherent value she has. She deserves so much better.

  • He reads it like he doesn’t even wanna read it, and it sounds like he didn’t write anything but the sexual and crude jokes by the tone in his voice. I feel so bad for the wife, and the poor mother of the groom, they both were probably so embarrassed, and making those jokes with their own CHILDREN in the audience. Plus the entire audience was probably so embarrassed as well. On an unrelated note to that, I love the way you do your commentary! And to anyone who reads this, I hope you have an amazing day! You’re doing great, and just do your best!

  • The vows in my hands would have been thrown in his face the second he compared me to Margot Robbie. I would have eyed him on the first joke, but that one would have had me gathering up my skirts and looking for my daughters while I loudly vow how I’m getting sole custody of the girls. Don’t let me have been in the crowd, I would walk have walked out. I mean, ugh 😒.

  • Note to self: never say anything like this to my future love interest at our wedding. To think that adding (CLOWN HORN) sex (CLOWN HORN) comments in the vows in the most monotone reading possible compared to the bride’s emotional heart-pouring is tantamount to complete asshole-ry. I would absolutely pour my heart out and let them know how much I love them considering, I would imagine, I would’ve built up this intense love for this person and they want nothing more to be with me for the rest of their life. The hope is that this guy, at the very best, thought it to be funny and he really loves her and would never normally do this, thus making the plateau-like reading misfire instead of the possible reality that he does the same thing or worse in private. It’s bad news all around.

  • See, here’s the thing. Even if you’re a jokester, even if emotions make you uncomfortable, if you can’t shelve that for ONE DAY, hell, FIVE MINUTES, you’re a problem. It’s so clear by the audience’s reactions that the first joke, okay. The second joke, okay. The fifth raunchy, inappropriate joke? The audience is no longer laughing. They’re thinking “How old is this guy?”

  • Ok just, I can only guess she grew up around people like I did where she was very much taught “boys will be boys” and to, among other things, prioritize the males happiness and pleasure above all else, and that she’s just inherently going to have more ~emotions~ than a man, so she doesn’t have the right to feel its unfair if he’s detached and focused on sex. I hope to high high heaven she gets the fuck out of that marriage ASAP, it’s not even balanced by most traditionalists perspective much less in any other framework, jfc. Dude is trash and doesn’t deserve a partner in his current state.

  • I’ve been with my partner for ten years as well. If he basically said I was nothing more than a sentient fleshlight, especially in front of my family and friends, I would have absolutely lost it. The fact that he was so comfortable doing this shows just how much he degrades her. She had to sit there and laugh it off because I’m assuming if she shows any other kind of negative reaction she gets called crazy or emotional or dramatic. She clearly has self esteem issues, him saying “I’m the best, you get my name, I’m great, me have lots of sex” and her following up with “thank you for being great, thought I wasn’t good enough, not pretty enough” just made my gut drop. He’s a narcissistic POS preying on someone that just wants support and love. How miserable. I hope she can see this manipulative abuse for what it is, the dude is beyond a loser.

  • When he said “nothing is better than the sound of gagging and headboards slamming” I actually covered my mouth in shock. I can’t even fatham having the thought of writing that in my wedding vows! Also I find it kind of a red flag when a guy has a kink of gagging someone. That was sooo inappropriate and embarrassing.

  • I feel like he could have made jokes that weren’t in bad taste. She made a few jabs, but you could tell she genuinely still loves him. He could have made jokes at her but still show his ( hopefully ) genuine love for her. Like “And despite your need of cooking lessons, you still cooked up our love and I can’t wait for the main course” BOOM! Joke made, but it isn’t demeaning and its still loving. He could have done much MUCH better…poor girl. 😊

  • i’ve been with my partner for only a year and a half but we’re serious for each other. we laugh a lot and call each other stinky and goofy. but god if i ever hear those words come out of his mouth on our wedding in 10 years, i’d cry on the spot and feel so betrayed. she’s gorgeous and i hope she can find her worth.

  • I have only recently discovered your website and I absolutely fell in love with it and have been bingewatching your vids ever since but I am so sorry this is definitely one vid I can’t finish. It’s too heartbreaking and hits a little too close to home. 🙁 Kudos to you for even managing to see the whole darn thing through, your grit and gut in perusal and dissecting stuff like this is absolutely admirable~ Now to proceed with bingewatching other vids in your website~

  • 7:35 Dude I keep perusal this scene over and over again- I AM APPALLED. His mother literally having to step in to address how inappropriate that was is absurd. Even if this is a joke (albeit a very unfunny one), clearly people were uncomfortable and had no idea his vows would be like that. Whether he is abusive or not he certainly handled his vows poorly.

  • Yikes. If I had married my emotionally abusive ex, my vows probably would have sounded a lot like hers. I feel so sorry for her. It’s obvious he thinks he’s such a great catch. When you’re in a relationship with a person like this, they convince you that you’re nothing and you’re so lucky to have them. You start to truly believe that you are garbage and the other person is blessing you by allowing you to be in their life. It’s a trauma bond. The way she talks about “I know I’m not a model” and making “soggy meatloaf” demonstrates that he has talked down to her about her looks and cooking abilities repeatedly and made her feel like crap about it. The worse she feels about herself, the less likely she is to leave. And the more likely she is to go out of her way to make him happy because he’s made her believe he’s the only one who could love “a woman like her.” I hope one day, she breaks free from him and realizes she deserves more.

  • The whole “it’s obviously a joke” argument for the vows is really stupid for a number of reasons but one that comes to my mind first is that the ALTER is not the place for that. Maybe a person can have a younger and cheek thing here and there, but on the alter is when it’s time to be serious. It’s the time where your supposed to bear your soul to your partner, that’s why it’s so crucial in the ceremony. Something like his speech can MAYBE be said at the reception diner

  • My heart absolutely BREAKS for this woman. This man is absolutely a narcissist and only sees her as a toy he can play with anytime. He doesn’t even have the RESPECT for her nor her family by his disgustingly crude and explicit “vows”. She ABSOLUTELY deserves better, I can tell she’s much more emotionally invested in him than he is of her. I just hope she’s in a good situation right now

  • I remember seeing only one time a short and jokey wedding vow was okay, and it was a post on Tumblr. The poster’s aunt was known for long and very dry speeches, and on the aunt’s wedding day, she pulled out notecards. Everyone internally groaned, ready for a long speech. She unfolded the cards into a piece of paper to read her wedding vows, with dark, big letters. “Hot damn.” Those were her wedding vows. A fake out to ensure that everyone got a laugh.

  • Everyone’s already said everything there is to say about how ab-sive, gross, and just generally pathetic this was, but as a wedding photographer I also want to present a huge shiny 24k gold plated L to the articlegrapher for sharing it. There’s so much emotional responsibility that comes along with this job that goes beyond delivering some pics, and honestly one of the most triggering things about this was the fact that his response to witnessing and documenting that was “haha poopy butt balls women sl00ts funny get me internet like”. I could write an essay about how this is both enabling the behavior and potentially further endangering the bride/daughters. I hope he gets sued by LensCulture the organization/magazine for violating their IP in taking and tarnishing the exact same business name, and that he drops whatever most expensive piece of gear he has in a swamp the exact week he forgot to renew his insurance. It’s giving creepy misogynists supporting creepy misogynists to the highest degree

  • I have a new friend that got married about 6 months back. She was telling me her husband was bawling on their wedding day because he was so happy to marry her. Thats the kind of love people deserve. Its so sad that this woman thinks she deserves to be treated like this, I hope she finds a way to escape this relationship because she seems like a great person who has just been beaten down so much she doesn’t realize her true worth.

  • I was in a relationship with a guy like this when I was 12, the relationship went on for three years. Thankfully my parents recognized the signs of a deeply troubled “man-to-be” and did their best to keep us apart. Even though we were just babies he was influenced by what he sees on the internet and by his three older and married brothers who I can only assume also treat their wives like this.

  • Whats so upsetting to me is that this beautiful vibrant woman is so down on herself that she settled for this self-centered mediocre sex obsessed jackass who embasses her in front of their whole family. I worry for their daughters, they’re not going to grow up seeing their mother celebrated or confident and probably will have to have years of therapy because of it.

  • The fact that I could can relate to the bride is mind boggling. I used to be in a situation like the bride is in and deal with a man emotionally, mentally, and sometime physically abusing me for 4 years yet I still stood by him because he broke me down and molded me into someone I wasn’t, and it’s taken me years to realize this behavior is not ok. There was a tiktok I saw about telling people he literally married her to shut her up and I 100% agree to that statement. If someone truly loved you they wouldn’t put you in stressful and/or embarrassing situations. He never wanted to marry her. He only kept her around for the convenance. I got engaged to a man like that and never intended to marry me. Literally gave me what’s called a “shut up” ring. They wanna live life before settling and it’s clear he never wanted to settle, but force to now that he knows he stuck. This tiktok just bring up ptsd stuff I am still trying to work through and I hope she comes to realize it sooner rather than later that this “dream” man isn’t something she should settle for. She deserves better and deserves to be with someone who can truly love her and her kids better then this pos could.

  • If i was one of the daughters i wouldve started screaming and crying right in the middle of the wedding. Thats disgusting. Kicking and screeching until they got an annulment. Running up to grandma officiating the wedding and clinging to her leg begging her not to do it. Making an absolutely vile scene in front of everyone and embarrassing HIM in front if HIS loved ones. Id go to school every day and recite his vows and all the other inappropriate stuff he says on loop until the teacher calls child services.

  • Literally i would be outraged that was said in front of children alone. Its setting a misogynistic precedent for their daughters, and its just gross to talk about sex during your vows (in anything other than what the bride said, which was we created two daughters.) Like, no one needs to hear that your wife gags on your shmeat dude, especially not your daughters.

  • As someone who’s been in an abusive relationship this hurts to watch. I hope that women has friends and family that will help her. It seems obvious she should have never married this man but keep in mind it’s very difficult to leave such a relationship and in the middle of it you may feel dependent on that person. If anyone else is struggling in their relationship remember that this is not what love looks like and the right person will come along and treat you well.

  • I DJ’ed a wedding once where the couple’s entrance song was “Ain’t Too Proud” by the Temptations…..which if you’ve never heard that song has lyrics like “I know you want to leave me but I refuse to let you go”, “But if I have to cry to keep you I don’t mind weepin’ if it’ll keep you by my side” and my favorite part “If I have to sleep on your doorstep All night and day Just to keep you from walkin’ away Let your friends laugh, even this I can stand ‘Cause I wanna keep you, any way I can”…The whole song is literally about being desperate which I don’t think is how you want to start a relationship or marriage.

  • I agree with 10:19 . This honestly WOULD ONLY work if they both consented to roast each other as their vows…but nope..the groom was just thinking of being a smart ass piece of crap while the bride just gave him her whole damn heart and soul…Like I honestly wish them a good marriage, and hoping it isn’t some kind of abusive relationship ….but the grooms vow is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!! edit: after perusal again (im a glutton for punishment), I feel like the bride has been groomed (no damn pun intended)…I am hoping I am wrong

  • im a violist and i occasionally do a gig or two and i played this one wedding (they paid really well and were super nice to us so i can’t complain) where they had us play the game of thrones theme when the wedding party walked down and last of the mohicans when the husband walked down. that’s odd but kinda whatever. then we get to the vows and the wife says so many typical sweet “i love you, you’ve changed my life” things. then the husband opens with “(her name) was the first person to introduce me to exclusivity” and talked about how she was his personal trainer and yadda yadda forgot the details but yea saying “she’s the person that convinced me to not cheat on her” is uhh… and no it wasn’t a poly thing part of it was talking about sleeping around or smth idk i wasn’t really paying attention but me and the rest of the quartet were trying to be really subtle while we exchanged “what the hell” looks things honestly went really smoothly all things considered it was just… odd? a self report? not the best thing to say in front of extended family (including a few kids) and four strangers hired to be there? better saved for the after party? idk man i’ll be honest tho playing the game of thrones theme song while the bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down was pretty funny looking back on it. but it was… definitely a choice

  • 10:08 If anyone is wondering what the toaster strudel or Twinkie comment meant… He was saying she gets to decide if she wants his “cream” on her or inside her. That’s sick. I can’t believe he publicly degraded her and embarrassed her like that during their wedding & in-front of their family and children.

  • My ex used to bring up our sex life all the time in the most uncomfortable ways, including with my family, exactly like this guy is here. And no matter how many times I would beg him to no longer do that, he never stopped. Honestly it was one of the reasons I finally left him. Another reason was because of the way everything with him had to be a personal attack towards me, like jokes at my expense. For me it was 3 years and he proposed a month before a left him. The proposal started with “so, like, you’re awesome”. When I told him I was upset he didn’t seem to put much thought into what he’d say he said he did but he was so nervous he forgot it. Then he proceeded to write it in his notes app right next to me like I couldn’t see and then tell me that was what he wanted to say… I’m 3 years into a healthy relationship in which I am thriving and being more myself than I was ever able to be before. I had the courage to change my name, come out as trans, etc. But more importantly my partner has shown me that I do deserve better and that I deserve happiness. I hope she is able to see that at some point. I was her for 3 years. I can’t imagine another second of it, let alone 10 years. But he was my highschool sweetheart. It can be so scary to leave a relationship you invested your future and so much time in. Having kids must make it a lot more complicated. But no matter what the reason is that you think you have to settle for being unhappy, I promise you you can leave. You do deserve to be happy.

  • How could she allow this, how could she not storm out. She deserves so much better, there’s no emotion in his voice and he makes it seem as if he’s “tolerating” her just because of sexual needs and I don’t care if it may be a joke because it FLOODED the whole vow, there were only tiny parts that were okay and yet you couldn’t appreciate them because omg another sex joke. And he’s definitely going “I totally nailed that” in his mind 😭 Now onto her vows, I WANTED TO CRY AND SCREAM IN HER PARTNERS FACE SHE DESERVES SO MUCH BETTERRRR AHHHHHHH I CANT. “I know I’m no model” SHES GORGEOUS “im not a good cook” I WILL EAT ALL YOUR FOOD SWEETHEART HE IS THE ONE WHO DOESNT DESERVE HER, HE IS THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE BEGGING ON HIS KNEES FOR HER TO STAY WITH HIM I truly hope she will open her eyes and notice that she deserves much more than what he’s giving 😭💔

  • I am extremely concerned for her… Now, my husband is very sexual towards me but he would NEVER objectify or embarass me like this. He compliments me on every level. My cooking, my intelligence, my mothering, etc. That grooms vows made me so sad and to see her having to try and look like it didnt affect her, and then her coming out and basically saying “It was funny and thats just how we are” was gut wrenching. The way she spoke about herself… I know shes mentally abused, and the way he spoke about her makes me question if shes sexually abused, also..

  • I say this with the most respect and concern I possibly can, are the straights okay? Like I can not imagine saying this in front of my two children, my mother and my entire extended family. How do you have 0 shame in this at all? THIS MAN HAS 0 SHAME AND FAR TOO HOT A WIFE LIKE SHES BEAUTIFUL HOLY SHIT I really hope she genuinely finds someone that doesn’t belittle her or make her insecurities worse because she seems so sweet and nice.

  • It’s honestly so sad that she feels so thankful he chose her and that she’s so lucky. like she’s so beautiful and so sweet, her vows were heartfelt and she could hardly keep it together. Meanwhile all he talked about was sex and how yeh, she’s lucky he’s giving her his last name. He literally couldn’t go one line without making it a sex joke or a red flag. I really hope she realizes how much of a red flag he is and that she’s worth so much more then that. Especially since she has little girls to think of and I’m horrified that that’s the type of things she must deal with. The fact she doesn’t realize is even worse, grooming or whatever it may be, I really hope she realizes she’s worth more then a misogynistic douche.

  • Another thing that’s so interesting to me is the mother. I am not saying she condones her grown ass sons behavior however(with no outside context) I think his mom is prone to encouraging her(the bride) to sweep the fucked up things he(the groom) says under the rug. There is just something I am reading from her personality that screams “but he loves you” or “you know him” about her.

  • Am I the only one who hates that the groom’s family just laughed it off? Especially his mom. It’s so obvious that everyone just indulged him and laughed off his disturbing behavior his whole life. Like, “Oh you know Michael and his humor!” His mom should’ve raised him better (that obviously doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s a jackass).

  • 1:59 IMMEDIATE RED FLAG 🚩 big ol’ crimson curtain here, because I’m just wondering what’s gonna happen when the wife doesn’t want to have sex? At this point I doubt she has a choice, all he values her for is her body and aging is beautiful but when her stamina has gone down and she’s an older goddess he will see no value in her anymore… that’s not speculation it is fact (seen it happen personally)

  • I know it’s not the point, but why is she so stunningly beautiful and he looks like if a chipmunk were a frat bro? Like really? His line about Margot Robbie was really what made him irredeemable in my book, like even though he was gross throughout the vows I could MAYBE understand if they both had a similar sense of humor, but talking about his celeb crush in his wedding vows to a gorgeous woman so insanely out of his league that it’s not even funny, is just despicable.

  • Speaking as someone who does use self-deprecating humor as camouflage for her own lifelong body image issues, her vows hurt to listen to ngl. Like the combination of his vows and hers gives me a really extra bad vibe when put together. Like the message of her vows is “i am grateful you love me despite my faults” and his vows are “all you’re good for is being a hole” and the combination is…bad. Real bad.
