  • Very nice room. If people were to avoid any demographic group which had a higher divorce rate than the baseline they would severely limit their dating pool. It would be interesting to see how many of those divorced people had other factors that may coincide with race differences without being caused by it. Things like different religions, political opinions, culture and upbringing etc. Most demographic data doesn’t dig that deep into such factors.

  • It seems to be a simple common-sense formula. The more factors two people have in common, the more likely they are to stay together. Factors such as, religion, race, culture, economic class, traditions, morals, goals, etc. A mixed-race couple would have a better chance with all other factors being the same than say, a same race couple with all other factors being different. But, love (lust) is not a common-sense process. Maybe overall we were better off when our parents chose our spouse!
