Both of his parents were lawyers in South Bend Indiana in the 50’s on. When my mom and Joseph Chester Allen Junior were married in the late 50s and lived in Niles Michigan they had a cross burned in their front yard from the KKK when I was about two years old. “Deeply rooted in history” does not mean a thing is good – slavery, torture and despotism are deeply rooted in history. Judges basing validity of a ruling on history is a horrible practice, since our past is full of regrettable abuses. Also, being historic has no bearing on legal validity, period. It’s supposed to be about justice, not history.

None of the problems get solved and any progress made is reversed the moment a different side takes power because the issue got so politicized that people always act like it’s an all or nothing issue and refuse to do anything out of spite because capitalism creates greedy people. Growth is quick but we’ve reached a point where that system is not in our best interest. People live longer now and less people “randomly” die. i`m an independent, does seem odd that for years what republicans have said about gun control, if we let them do this it will continue to that, always wanting more. i have guns and have hunted for over 50 yrs., enjoy shooting but not an NRA member and never will be. so it sure seems they are doing what they claim the other party is doing, like wannabe dictator traitor trump, claim and blame others for what you yourself are doing.

I need racist people to understand that once a person has “color” in their genes they are still people. They still hurt and we are allowed to married what every “color” person we want to marry. As far as republicans are coming for interracial marriages. Lets start at supreme court. clarence is married to a white woman. If republicans get into office this november, we might as well kiss our behinds goodbye. I am multiracial from WV. In 1976 when my parents married it was illegal in WV. They had to leave the state to get married as an adult heterosexual couple because their skin colors were different…in a state where schools were integrated in the 1910s. Think about that. I am married to a man who is biracial…Indigenous American and Irish. They will go after gay marriage, then they will come for us. I am so frustrated perusal America walking backwards.

I only know of my European ancestry, however I have lots of freckles which, if they were all joined together, would make me look more like Jayar or Adrienne. We are all the same. I was with my friend today and they constantly listen to alternative news and they are convinced that it’s a Democratic party destroying this country.
